Rodeo Clown

Aug 15 2013

With the clowns in Washington on vacation, the political news is being made by rodeo clown…You must’ve heard about the Missouri State Fair rodeo clown who did a comedy routine in an Obama mask. Democrats went wilder than the bull. The clown has been banned for life, the NAACP wants the Justice Department and the Secret Service to investigate him, and all rodeo clowns now have to undergo sensitivity training. Great, I’ve always wanted to see rodeo clowns do wry monologues about their relationships with the bull. Look, I agree, showing disrespect to the President is offensive. And there is no excuse for racism, even if it’s disguised as humor. I’d just take the outrage a little more seriously if the same people complaining had ever once objected to President Bush being portrayed on stage and screen as a chimp, or Condoleezza Rice being depicted by a prominent editorial cartoonist as a slave mammy. Somehow, when I hear all this uproar over a rodeo clown, I get the feeling the cowboys aren’t the only ones who are throwing the bull a little bit.

    Teen Killers

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that teenage killers can NOT receive the death penalty.

But teens killed a W.W, 2 vet in Washington State, and also in Duncan Oklahoma. Teens there killed a man because they were "BORED". They won't even go to trial for years.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 says "When the sentence for a crime is NOT quickly carried out, the hearts of the people are filled with schemes to do wrong".

So WHERE is the justice today??? Larry McClain / Oklahoma City

Sadly only one side uses their voice more often than those that should stand up and speak. Maybe once we get pushed to far many will rise up with balls to be heard.

Well, I believe that both Republicans and Democrats are continually guilty of seeing things only through partisan lenses. That's why I continue to urge you to leave partisanship behind and become a voice for what is right according to God's laws. Such a voice is sorely lacking in American politics as God continues to be a taboo subject and all sides strive to remove Him completely from our consciousness. You have been blessed with a platform to be such a voice. Use it and trust in God. May God guide all people who believe in Him to what is right.
