  I wonder what is like to grow up in a household where a child only hears the adults talk politics? I also believe if there are blessed words spoken, a good return will come, even if delayed, as in your examples. Sadly, our president missed that and it shows.

  As for the vice presidential debate, I think the moderator did a good job. Paul actually spoke more than Joe and the moderator pressed both men on topics many of us what answers about: taxes and Libya.
  Joe wanted to know about the tax stuff.

  The big problem with Joe I think was not his "rudeness" but the essence of who he is as a man: Mike called it inconsistency on his post- vp debate show on Friday.

  I am a 26 year old individual who has put myself through college, bought a house, and are raising two children as well as going back to receive my MBA. I have found that President Obama and Biden want to take out of my pocket to pay for others who have not looked for work or have given up or do not think they should have to. I am insulted that my hard work should end up in someone else's pocket or that I should expect a handout. I think that if a person genuinely needs help, then the government should put a limitation on the help and not give until we are broke. Why is it a crime to be wealthy? If you are a good steward with what you are given and worked hard, what is wrong with that?

  I am also insulted that I am treated like a child by this administration. I follow politics even with a heavy schedule and to say that I should just give them 4 more years to change this economy, I say no. I am tired of people wanting their parents or the taxpayers to pay until they find a job to receive health insurance. I was enraged when a person is only voting for Obama to get their health insurance paid for. I made it 24 years without insurance and it was not offered in my previous jobs. Thank God I was not sick, but I would have worked out how to pay them money owed. I know it is not an option for everyone, but I do not think that giving everyone insurance or making an even playing field is the answer. The poor, widows, and children should be taken care of, but healthy Americans should be working, not looking for a handout. Why are they not listening to the medical professionals?

  As I watched the vice presidential debate, I was enraged. I think that the moderator needs to be unbiased and needs to be in control of the debate. I think that it is wrong that a Biden was allowed to interrupt way too much and that the points were not allowed to be gotten across. He was rude, condescending, and a liar. I think too many people are over thinking this presidential choice. It comes down to: are you better than you were? Does the debt not bother people about what our children will face if this a continuing trend? I do not think that Biden provided good arguments, but did a smear campaign and tried to pick up the pieces of the Obama debate. They are too soft on the issues and embarrass America. When will the American people wake up and get their heads out of the clouds, and face the hard issues? I am proud to be an American and I do not like to be presented to the world as weak. Both mine and my husband’s families were in the military and I was appalled that Biden wants to put them in harm’s way. All information is weighed and calculated, but it infuriates me that Obama thinks this presidency and country is a joke! He needs to leave NOW.

  Dear Mike,
  Thank you for having Pattie Mallette on your show. In 1969 when I was 19 years old I too became an "un wed mother" whose boyfriend wanted me to get an abortion which was only available to the rich or the connected in those days... My Mom passed away when I was 14 after battling breast cancer for over 10 years and my Dad was an abusive parent. I was scared to death to tell him I was pregnant but it came spilling out of me one day. Being as I was 5 months pregnant at the time there was no room for me at the "un-wed mother's home" that he wanted to send me to. So he shipped me to Florida to live with my cousin so I wouldn't disgrace the family in NJ where I lived (of course his abuse was OK for everyine to know...) So being young and scared I moved to Florida where I gave birth to a baby girl who I placed for private adoption without ever seeing her. I knew if I did see her that I could never sign those papers! I wanted to keep her but I couldn't even support myself. I prayed to God for 20 years that one day she would want to find and meet me. And she DID in 1990. We are best friends and have MANY commond traits that only God could have created. I now have three beautiful grandbabies (5, 8, and 11)and they have all filled the deep hole that was in my hearrt for over 20 years. AFter I had her I read a book called "A Baby is Born" that had photos of the fetus from conception to birth. How could ANYONE consider having an abortion after seeing those photos???? I'd like to tell President Obama that God did not "punish" me for getting pregnant. He Blessed me with the gift of Love that no one in my life has ever been able to fill. My daughter and I look alike, act alike, walk alike, talk alike, and are connected by a bond so strong that no one or nothing could ever break it.
  I believe that if more srories like ours were told that we could cut down on the number of abortions that are performed in the US every year, as it is a disgrace to our wonderful Country. We didn't have the pill in those days. We do now and more people should use it and PAY for it themselves. Sandra Flock should maybe have one less Martini a month so she can afford to buy birth control!
  What on Earth has our Country turned into? We are all too selfish for words these days and there is such a blurr between right and wrong that was quite clear when I was growing up. What has become of shame? What has happened to the value of life? I pray that abortion on demand and partial birth abortions are made illegal in the most estreme of cases. You are now a proud Grand Dad and I know you understand the pure pride and joy our Grandbabies bring us... Thanks for listening and keep up the good works, you are a Blessing to all of your Faithful listeners!

  Mike do you know that teh President O'BAMA IS PUTTING ALL OF THE uNITED sTATES UNDER A MARTIAL LAW, IN oCTOBER, AND AT THE SAME TIME WE ARE GOING TO WAR WITH iRAN! dID YOU KNOW OF THIS?

  Thank you Mike Huckabee for putting this website on here. I will be voting on Nov. 6 for Romney/Ryan. Some people don't vote at all, and that is why I want to encourage the people to go out and vote in this very important election. God Bless.
