Chick fil-A Statement
Mike Huckabee
I talked earlier today personally with Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick Fil-A about the new reports that Chick Fil-A had capitulated to demands of the supporters of same sex marriage. This is not true. The company continues to focus on the fair treatment of all of its customers and employees, but to end confusion gave me this statement:
“There continues to be erroneous implications in the media that Chick-fil-A changed our practices and priorities in order to obtain permission for a new restaurant in Chicago. That is incorrect. Chick-fil-A made no such concessions, and we remain true to who we are and who we have been.”

Dan Cathy's rebuttal only muddied the water for me.
He wrote: "There continues to be erroneous implications in the media that Chick-fil-A changed our practices and priorities in order to obtain permission for a new restaurant in Chicago."
This indicates that Chick-Fil-A is still NOT donating to anti-gay-marriage groups BUT that the reason they have knuckled-under is not just to gain a Chicago toehold for their restaurants.
I am not trying to be hard-nosed, however, until I see an official release saying that they are continuing their program of donations to to anti-gay-marriage groups, I will voice my opinion the only way I can, by withholding my money.

New to Twitter & chose you 1st to follow because I appreciate your opinions after watching for quite some time as guest on Fox & Friends. I am so glad to know that the rumor that Chick-Fil-A caved in to pressure is false, and will continue to pray that all God's children will have the courage to stand firm. I'm a senior citizen, and it breaks my heart to witness the moral decline of our great Nation. When Obama promised "change", He didn't mentioned it would be for the worse.

Thank you to stand up for your principles and believes, we need to stop trying to please everybody, and always been political correct, so nobody gets offended, we are selling our souls, our values, our country foundations, and believes; for what? Twenty silver coins?, Or just to not have to confront those minorities that want to change everything that have real meaning and value since the beginning of our great nation.
I am sure there are more costumers in this nation by far who agreed with Chick – Fil- A principals and standards, than those that are angry. At least someone doesn’t allow this minority to impose its will.
You have my family support and patronage, and thanks again to be an example for the future generation about what is true business integrity. -

Hi Mike, I first want to thank you for all that you do for America by keeping us informed and standing up for God. I have a question. With the Chick fil a, you called a rally to support them. 1000s upon 1000s rallied for Chick fil a. I just watched you on Fox News this morning and you talked about Libya and all the terrorist attacks avoided by this president. How can we rally around this cover up and truly expose Obama's cover up?
