    Governor,
I appreciate your holding our elected officials to their word. I am disappointed that you & others have let Obama leave a lie on the table. He says that at 17 he was Trayvon. Excuse me. At 17 he was a student at Punahou, living where 68% of the population was non-white. ...and folks locked their car doors when he neared them? This predominately non-white population was afraid of the 2% blacks? His only similarity with Trayvon was the toxicology - dope in his system.

Mike, I was offended by the comments President Obama made about a white woman clutching her purse when a black man gets into an elevator with her. I would feel a little uneasy, alone in an elevator, with a man of any race. It's a small space and there is no where to go if the man acts inappropriately. However, I would feel a little less uneasy if the man (of any race) was dressed nicely and acted polite. I would feel more uneasy if the man (of any race) was unpleasant, messy looking and glared instead of offering a polite greeting. You can't always judge a book by it's cover, but if presentation is all I have to go on. I go with my gut. If a person gives me respect. I will give nothing but respect back. If a person disrespects me, I will avoid them. I don't believe in wasting energy on negative actions. There are too many positive things that can be accomplished with that same energy. It seems to me that the President was insinuating that white women stereotype black man. By making such a statement, did the President stereotype white woman?

    Mr. Huckabee,
I like the values that you stand for and I always look forward in hearing you on TV.
My comment relates to the race merchants. I don't hear the wrongs that Mr. Martin has done from being photographed with stolen property, brandishing a weapon, and pointless other things. I was born in Mexico, became a citizen, gave 21 yrs to our Armed Forces. I am so so tired of hearing how the Blacks are such victims. I believe that every man sets their own destiny and if your hiding in the shadows waiting for whomever was behind you then you are the predator and not Mr Zimmerman....On a last note responsible citizens will always confront one another with civility, chaos happens when one or both lose that mindset.....And yes you can use my quote...

If Travon Martin and George Zimmerman both followed the (respect one another) advice of Lou Holtz, they both would be alive and they would both be living better lives.
If we would all teach our children to respect one another and teach them not to be offended by answering questions out of respect. (whether they approved of the question or not), it wouldn't matter what color we were. We would achieve communication and actually make new friends! It seems that people get so focused on wanting to be equal, that sometimes they don't realize they are. So they take offense to someone asking questions like, what are doing here? And they feel like it is none of the other persons business!
