President Trump just picked up another nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize

Former President Trump just picked up another nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, this time from an Estonian member of the European Parliament. He said, “Donald Trump is the first president of the United States in the last 30 years whose office the country has not started any war. In addition, several peace agreements have been made under his leadership in the Middle East, which has helped ensure stability in the region and peace.” One of Trump's previous nominations came from a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who said, “I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.”

While that is undoubtedly true, if you think that the Nobel Peace Prize is given out to the person who’s done the most to create peace, then you haven’t been paying much attention in recent years. Like so many things that used to mean something, it’s degenerated into a way for leftists to signal their virtue to the world (they've given them to noted terrorist Yasser Arafat, Al Gore for making an environmentalist horror movie, and Barack Obama, apparently for being born.)

So while it’s an honor to have so many people think he deserves a nomination, I’m sure Trump harbors no illusions that he will actually win it. Even a nomination doesn’t carry much gravitas these days. Look who else just got nominations (and you probably shouldn’t read these while drinking coffee or you might spew it all over your keyboard.)

To quote Clint Eastwood from “Unforgiven,” “’Deserve’s” got nothin’ to do with it.”

    I'm sure that even though he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize he won't get it . It will go to some that haven't done a darned thing to deserve it . Anything to TRY to make him look undeserving . A darned SHAME !

    I really think that these radical Democrats who are killing jobs left and right should take off those American flag lapel pins, because they surely are not for the American people by taking away their source of income. It's going to be a long 2 years before we can take back the house.
