From Gregg Z:

I’ll get right to the point, but first know that I am an evangelical believer who loves our Lord, worships Him and His Word, and votes wherever possible for candidates who hold a biblical worldview, where God is the center of Truth; and when we honor and follow His Word we are blessed, and when we continue to disobey and reject Him, we reap depravity.

I’m saddened and disappointed in your continued tact with the election—that it was stolen via widespread fraud. Trump had his many chances in our post-election process to legally challenge the election, and nothing stuck. The fact he had the best legal resources available (and $$) and was not able to make anything stick is indicative of the fact that there really was no evidence of widespread election fraud—and many of those law suits were adjudicated by conservative Republican-appointed judges. Trump truly did not have a leg to stand on, as the wholesale rejection of his lawsuits showed.

The reality is we live in an evenly divided nation right now. Our presidential elections have been razor thin for a while now, not just 2020. We see the split division in the House and Senate as well—and have for years as it also has teetered between Democrat & Republican control.

In the spirit of Romans 13:1-5, and given Trump’s wholesale failure at providing evidence of widespread fraud on a scale large enough to change the election outcome--and this through our entire legal system--it is right for us to “give credence to” the outcome of this election, and stop with the quite harmful seeds of conspiracy theory.

It is time to SWITCH THE DIALOG to the fact that we have indeed put a liberal in the president's office—and lost control of the Senate—all because we are that evenly split as a nation. It’s time to pray for wisdom and influence in promoting a biblical worldview, which is how we will change the evenly balanced electorate away from humanism (liberalism).

Respectfully,

Gregg

From the Gov:

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and reasonable letter. What we were doing with this poll was essentially “taking the temperature” of the approximately half of the country who watched from the sidelines as the election results played out, just to see where we are. Now we know.

If you’re a regular reader of the newsletter, you know I’ve never made the claim that the election was “stolen” or decided by “widespread fraud.” (There is some actual evidence of targeted fraud, but did it decide the election? We’d like to know.) I’ve quoted others who have make those claims, and many readers have made them in the “comments” section, but what I personally have tried to do is bring you factual information about how the election was conducted and what people think about it, people on both sides. The fact that so many believe the election was stolen, and do have reason (as opposed to proof), is a reality that it makes no sense to ignore. It can’t just be swept under the rug.

What I definitely can say is that the election rules were turned upside down in key states and that it was a very opaque process, as opposed to the completely transparent process it should have been. And that causes a natural skepticism.

That begs the question, why wouldn’t the Democrats WANT to allow a full investigation, to make the process fully transparent, as a way of bringing the country together and ending this massive doubt that Biden was the duly-elected President? Why did they go to court in multiple states to slam the lid down on that process? This causes even more natural skepticism.

The courts simply didn’t want to be involved in this and washed their hands of it, so to speak. They “found” reasons not to look at those cases. Most of the dismissals had nothing to do with the evidence that might have been presented, as they never got that far.

Now Trump reportedly wants to use the impeachment trial as an opportunity to present some of that evidence, and he’s running into problems with attorneys who don’t want to use their legal defense in that way. He has some new representation now, so it’ll be interesting to see if he does it. If he has the goods, it might be a way to make the Democrats sorry they made the ridiculous decision to try him after he was gone. And we might actually get to see evidence. On the other hand, would Sen. Patrick Leahy, presiding in place of Chief Justice John Roberts (who declined), find a way to keep his attorneys from presenting it? He’d certainly stop them if he could. But this would cause even more natural skepticism.

You’re right that this is a divided nation. I do think, though, that much of that division is because of what people hear on the news and, well, just about everywhere. We’re constantly warned about “misinformation” on the right, but it demonstrably exists in huge steaming piles on the left, and there’s also a great deal that goes unreported. This affects the way people vote. Recall the poll in which a substantial percentage of Biden supporters –- enough to possibly have changed the election outcome –- said that if they’d known about the Biden family’s dealings with the Chinese, they wouldn’t have voted for him.

Also, many who voted for Biden are shocked now at his shutting down of the Keystone Pipeline with the stroke of a pen, among the 40 (!) Executive Orders he signed his first week. Some of these voters hadn’t been paying attention, others had been watching CNN and MSNBC or getting their news preselected by Facebook and Google, and many just “didn’t like Trump” or had heard he was "a dictator," but this is NOT what they thought they voted for. Yes, we’re divided, but I don’t believe it’s true that half the country is as far-left as the people now in office. Those people aren't "liberals" --- they truly are radicals.

It certainly hasn’t been my intention to promote conspiracy theories, which exist on both the left and right. We are all about evidence here, and we also want to work through the system even though it seems increasingly that the deck is stacked against us. Did you read my answer to reader Loren in the Monday Evening Edition, about examining our own conduct, pulling together and keeping our cool as we work towards 2022? It works in this context as well.

    Mr. Huckabee,
I wanted to answer your survey but really didn’t know how to. I’ve never felt this uneasy about our nation than I do now. I pray every day for God to save our nation. Chris and I support Sarah in her bid for the governorship of Arkansas. We were supposed to attend the Rainbow Omega event in Birmingham, AL last fall where she was to be the speaker. It was canceled due to the pandemic. I know you are very proud of her:)I am a retired educator and Chris retired from the corporate world.
I still believe God is in control of all! I just don’t know what he is trying to teach us now.
Thank you for all you do.
    Sincerely, Donna and Chris Hyche

Whether there were enough fraudulent votes to change the outcome of the election is not my primary concern. If there was only one fraudulent vote it means there was fraud. And because no action was taken to determine the extent, how can we trust the results of future elections? I'm very disappointed in the judges who would not hear these cases. Does that make them co-conspirators in the fraud? I believe there was sufficient evidence to warrant an investigation leading to prosecution of the guilty in order to salvage our faith in future elections.

    Hello from Ohio,
    Mike Huckabee,
Thank you for your astute explanation that helps to see both sides of the isle.
Can you help us on the Conservative/Republicans who are puzzled with the ultimate fact the total votes populated do not compute.

If there are 134 Million registered, legally registered voters, and if Trump had 74 Million votes from Legally registered votes, subtracted from 134, leaves 60 votes possible for Biden and I believe there a few write ins.. so there is no way mathematically that Biden received 80 Million votes..
Please help us comprehend the "new math " that Dems seem to use to alleged dually elected!!
Bamboozled with frustration on how the Democrats continue to create situations qnd blame it on the Republicans/ Conservative legal citizens..
Anxiously waiting to read your response!!
Go team Sarah.. wish I lived in Arkansas qnd not Ohio right now.

    Hello everyone,
I disagree with Gregg. Yes, there is evidence of fraud. When the laws are changed in certain states to accommodate those people in power and this election falls under the federal laws, this is fraud in itself. The changes are supposed to go through legislation. Plus, when a judge in the Democrat party blocks the county election officials from counting votes, this too is illegal. Yes this happened. And when ballots are being put on a separate computer directly to the Secretary of State, this too is a problem. Ballots disappearing from being counted. What is further illegal and is not aligned with the laws of the land is the blocking of due process. President Trump was not allowed due process to present any information. Supreme Court blocked. VP Pence blocked the truth in reference to the electorates from certain states from being able to present all the information regardless of the outcome. I know the state of Georgia is not left. We have been blocked from investigating and from due process. I wonder how Gregg would like this done to him?? Does Gregg like the double standard? He must be in love with it. Remember, I thought the Democrat party believed in equality and unity. In reality, the Democrats exist under non-equality and non unity. Many see right through the Democrats. And, I agree with Mr. Huckabee, the people who are making the decisions at the present time are not necessarily Liberals. They are 100% radical leftists who are on a path to destroy everything and everyone who disagrees with them. We as a society are not one sided. We are about disagreeing to agree; and, we are about agreeing to disagree. Gregg, we believe in election integrity period. Finally, at this time election integrity does not exist in all states. Election integrity needs to be restored regardless of who is in power. Best

Trump in no way was allowed a due process. We absolutely know the election was stolen and can’t believe our elected officials are going through with this sham of an Impeachment.

To Gregg Z; thank you kind sir for expressing your views in a rational and logical fashion. You questioned the Governor with courtesy and gave him an opportunity clarify his words.
Governor, thank you as well for always presenting information in a clear and logical fashion with little or no hyerbole (irrational claims). And your reply to Gregg was also courteous and factual.

Governor, you are the only news source my family watches and trusts. When you do not know, you say so. You do not make things up in order to look smart and connected. We deeply appreciate this.

Thanks again Mike. I believe their are millions of Americans who now realize the forces out to destroy our republic (cancel culture ideology) are driven by dark forces that do not mind using lies, violence, and fraud in order to achieve power and control. God, who rules overall, may allow this for many obvious reasons, but, I believe we are to stay engaged however and whenever possible standing for truth and Justice to eventually prevail.
Two practical things seem to be most basic IF we are permitted to see our Christian values come back to government. One is education (the 1776 proposition Trump enacted, now struck down) is so vital to our roots. Second, is term limits which can serve to root out some of the strongholds in the legislative branch of “career politicians” who work to get re-elected, have power, recognition, and of course, money—instead of providing genuine service to our republic. Incumbency overwhelms our ability to elect real serving governance, if you know what I mean. 82% of the people want it, the executive branch got it a few years ago, so it is constitutional.
These are just my view of the most basic practical way out of our deceitful twisted dilemma.
We need to get back to basics of “education, reasoning & serving” as apposed to rioting, hatred, violence, sloth, and greed.
I know you know this—and please keep preaching for the rest of us.

This may sound like a very simple question, but no one has asked it yet so.... If both of President Trump's impeachments were based on untruths, why are they valid? It seems to me that both of them would be as not even counting and would wipe the slate clean, leaving him to run in the next election and not have any impeachments on his record at all. Just wonderin' Thanks for listening.

You are 100% right on "Withholding information". Our newspaper, 5 years ago had a balance of Conservative and Liberal writers. It changed to 100% very liberal writers. I closely tracked the Hunter & Joe Biden situation learned from you and Fox. NOTHING was ever said about it, ever! Also, Trump could do NOTHING right in every article. Only Fox in the evening and Newsmax told the truth, but MOST people only watch the ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN, etc. The philosophy in Advertising and Politics is from Hitler who said: "If you say something LOUD enough, and LONG enough, people will believe it." Keep up the great work. Our HOPE is in Jesus Christ! PRAY, PRAY, PRAY

Thank you for that commentary. You stated everything well. But here’s the thing, Biden hardly came out of the basement during campaigning. When he did, hardly anyone showed up. When Trump had a rally they couldn’t fit the people in the venue. To me, it’s not hard of a stretch to think there was overwhelming fraud. On top of that, the Dominion machines. I would love to think everything was on the up and up, otherwise I hesitate to vote ever again.

As a Southern Baptist and follower of Jesus Christ, I liked your reply to Gregg. I believe your comments and reporting have been right on target. Do I believe there was fraud, corruption, and deceit in the 2020 presidential election? I have no way of knowing, barring a true investigation into the numerous charges and sworn statements. All of the court dismissals were made before arguments were ever presented. An independent investigation should be conducted because no president should have a cloud of confusion attached to his /her administration. Let judicial rulings be made on all the charges and a final answer given for all to see and hear. Stamp out all of the clatter. Let the truth be revealed and, perhaps, tamp out some of this division that permeates our country!

  • Georginna Graves

    02/02/2021 01:06 PM

Thank-you for your thoughtful answer to the thoughtful ‘?’ You so expressed why there continues to be such division & why people can’t & IMO shouldn’t just “let it go.”
If the Dems or a Court had EVER allowed a pubic, thorough investigation of ALL the evidence instead of cursory dismissal & evasiveness this whole thing could have been cleared up months ago & the Capitol tragedy could probably have also been avoided!??

This was a wonderful explanation of the election and what took place. It also high lighted that America is not as far left as the Democrats think. Your answer was a very calming response in a time of turmoil . Now get the democrats to tone down their speech. Thank you,

Mike, I feel that your response was appropriate! Our country will never (under the Biden administration) be united. This is because of many things. When Big Tech, elites, and media are blocking and manipulating the answers to questions that Americans need answers to! One thing that I know is, that my God the Lord Jesus Christ, and President Trump, have not left us to the mercy of the the (evil) left! Good will provale! God bless America!

    02/02/2021 12:55 PM

    Mike,
I agree with your response to this letter as I think millions do. Enough issues were brought forth concerning the way the election was conducted in the key battleground states to warrant an honest investigation of the results. One had to ask the question: how do you flip more than 15 + Democrat seats in the house w/o electing that parties president? Smells fishy to me.
Like you and many others believe, there seems to be enough impropriety to suggest an investigation is needed. The other clue is the abject stonewalling by Democrats and (probably) judges who bowed to pressure not to look seriously into the matter, dismissing the charges as lack of evidence when the matters were not objectively investigated. I think we still have a smoking gun.
The simple fact that the Bidenites would not investigate (or care to investigate the matter) speaks volumes and emboldened a very hostile elitist clan (and MSM) to be bully pulpit puppeteers , self righteously railing against against those who cried FOUL -gor good reason!
I read your posts and support you Mr. Huckabee. I think you have your finger on the pulse. Thanks for all the time and effort and information you are providing for those of us who have faith in God and the Founders view of Freedom.

    All the best,

For 60+ years I believed in God and that he would never turn his back on us suddenly after every that has happened I now don’t know what to believe why would he allow our country to be destroyed and not help us or has he truly turned his back on us and no longer cares what happy to the United States. I agree with your stance on the election. I want to ask you how Americans can push the political leaders, that have failed their constituents, to have our medications made in the USA or at least by an ally.
