Conservative pundits can always fill a column simply by pointing out the whiplash-inducing change in standards between Trump and Biden. This week brought us two major about-faces.

The Washington Post’s “fact checker” Glenn Kessler announced that the paper will stop keeping a database on President Biden’s false or misleading statements after 100 days.

The excuse is that they only ever intended to do it for the first 100 days of any presidency, but Trump was just such a lying liar who lies that they had no choice but to parse every word he said for four years. Kessler claims that Biden has said only 67 false or misleading things, while Trump said thousands (a number arrived at by counting every joke, deliberate hyperbole, denial of fake news or difference of opinion as a “lie.” Recall for instance Trump’s big lies that he didn’t collude with Russia or we’d have a COVID vaccine by the end of 2020.)

The implication is that Biden is a return to honesty and “normalcy.” I would argue that anyone who voted for Biden on his promise of being a moderate who would seek bipartisan consensus realizes that either his entire campaign was a giant lie or his presidency is.

Our other “Oh, How Times Have Changed!” example came from Biden himself, who ended his Tuesday Q&A with reporters by saying, “I’m sorry. This is the last question I’m gonna take. I’m really gonna be in trouble.”

As the linked article notes, can you imagine Trump being afraid that he’d get in trouble if he answered another question? More worrying, though, is what did Biden mean by that? He’s supposed to be the President of the United States. Is he really afraid of getting in trouble if he answers an unscripted question? Why? And who would he be in trouble with? Is that a cry for help? Enquiring minds want to know. Too bad there are none of those anymore at the Washington Post.

This whole administration is living one big deceptive lie! Our Justice depts have let us down by allowing the 2020 election to be stolen and not acknowledging the gross illegalities that occurred.

Both of these items are perfect examples of the left and MSM politicizing everything. All they can do is lie, twist, and subvert everything that President Trump did in his 4 years. Hopefully people will see what the Post and other news agencies are doing and stop supporting them. Look at CNN and their ratings---in the tank! It's such a classic cover up when the Post claims they never intended to go beyond 100 days with Biden when they scrutinized EVERYTHING President Trump said, did, looked, didn't say, etc. He was under the microscope and in their sights during his entire administration. The media has become such a joke

Has any reporter ever asked who it is Biden would be in trouble with if had answered another question? Is there any democrat politician who has been publicly asked that question. It seems fairly obvious Biden has less freedom than a 9 year old when it comes to making decisions for himself. It's frightening when we have no idea who is running the presidency. If Biden is afraid he'll be in trouble if he decides to answer a question can someone find out WHO he's afraid of and why?

I really loved this one!! If Biden opens his mouth he is lying!! He is the puppet for the satanic left wing democrats. His statement about being in trouble if he takes another question, proves he is not in control of anything. He does what the socialist tell him to do.

President Biden is just a puppet, being led by a much bigger puppet master. That is who is afraid to be 'in trouble with'...he is NOT a LEADER of this great country.

It is about time people noticed the "I am going to get in trouble" comment(s). Go back and look. From the time he started running he has been saying this or something similiar to get out of answering questions. I would like to see a loop of all of them. I certainly wish someone would ask "who are you going to get in trouble with?". It is almost as if he is being programmed and not allowed to say anything outside of that or he will get in trouble!

I humbly suggest Obama who seems to be the puppet master here. This administration is really Obama 3.0.

I always have to start with KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Your daily inspirations hit the SPOT DAILY! Now for what your reported, Governor you are just one of the polite gentleman in Journalism or Opinionated Journalism. I am a 71 year old guy who has worked in the Energy Field for years. Our currently PRESIDENT lies every time he opens his mouth! The WaPo does not want to maintain a factcheck program for Biden because they do not have enough memory on their computers for all of his lies. Biden has NOT UPHELD one of his promises if he became PRESIDENT!

    Hello Mr. Huckabee,
    Thank you for your newsletter.
My worry is about is while these sneaky democrats are keeping all American eyes on covid 19, WHAT ARE THEY DOING behind the scenes. Who knows what Harris is actually doing on her vacations around the world? Joe Biden is scary, and i am afraid.
    Thank You for your time,
    Sincerely, Doreen Dawes

You stated: “ The implication is that Biden is a return to honesty and “normalcy.” I would argue that anyone who voted for Biden on his promise of being a moderate who would seek bipartisan consensus realizes that either his entire campaign was a giant lie or his presidency is.”

The third option is, in reality Biden’s campaign and his presidency were and are giant lies.
I used to think Bill Clinton was a champion liar, but with the darkness of the Biden Regime, Bill cannot hold a light for Biden to run by - figurative speaking, of course.
Observation: Biden should always wear a mask. And why not - with apologies to The Lone Ranger - it suits him perfectly for the job he is doing TO America.

    Dear Governor,
I appreciate all you are doing. I hope your daughter has success in her race. However, to be totally honest, I have QUIT! I have been a Christian and a patriot since my earliest memories. My father took us around the world, at an early age and my brother and I were able to live in the Korean, the Navajo and the Appalachian cultures before we were 10. My father was a Caucasian man, working on a college campus in the mid to late 60's. Our home was the meeting place for the Black Student Union. With all this wonderful, eye opening background, I find myself no longer seeing hope in America. God will have His way. Many pastors have taken this approach and I no longer go to church so I can be reminded of living in the "End Times." I used to read your letter every day. Now I glance at it once every couple of weeks. I do the same with the Epoch Times and Townhall. I just can't stomach the destruction they are writing about. 4 years of Biden, even if we win the House back in 22, should just about do us in. There will be no getting rid of the hundreds of thousands of bad actors that not only enter our government but our overall population. NOBODY doing a thing about it. People are reporting on it but that's it. The left has no accountability and rule of law no longer is in play, in huge portions of our country.
I'm 64 years old and can't stomach watching or reading.
Jesus is coming soon! Now that's worth focusing on 24/7

    God bless,

    John Adams

I was driving during “the speech” and one thing Biden said was, if I interpreted it correctly, was that most of the jobs that he would create (a la Biden the magician) would not require a college degree, and some not even a high school diploma—then he went on to say that he was aiming for a higher standard of Technology for our country’s Grid, etc, etc., etc.
Okay, what level of education will be required to create higher levels of Technology????
    Did I misinterpret his “goal”?
    God help us all!!!
