Biden reversed this Trump policy, now look at what is happening
By Mike Huckabee
The fallout from President Biden’s first 100 days of insane policies is all hitting at once, from the stock market drop to gas lines to inflation fears to worker shortages to border chaos. But perhaps the most tragic is the flare-up of violence in the Middle East. Trump, who was assailed as a bumbling amateur by the Democrats, presided over the destruction of ISIS, the corralling of Hamas and Iran, and unprecedented peace agreements between Israel and its Arab neighbors. Biden reversed all of Trump’s policies, including lifting sanctions on Iran and sending at least $90 million in US aid to the Palestinians (Trump had blocked US funds going to the Palestinian Authority.)
In announcing this last month, a Biden State Department spokesman declared, “We continue to believe that American support for the Palestinian people, including financial support, it is consistent with our values. It is consistent with our interests. Of course, it is consistent with the interests of the Palestinian people. It’s also consistent with the interests of our partner, Israel, and we’ll have more to say on that going forward.”

Time to clean-up the Department of Justice and the FBI
By Mike Huckabee
As a kid I loved watched the Sunday night television series “The FBI” with Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.
Each episode was based on real case files from the FBI. Most of us Baby Boomers grew up with an image of the FBI as the top-cops, both in their professionalism and in their adherence to the rule of law. It was after all, the FBI, who enforced civil rights protection for people of color during what would become the end of the Jim Crow era. When local law enforcement looked the other way or even actively participated in crimes committed by true racists against people of color, it was the FBI who would reliably and justly apply the law.
It’s been very disappointing to see this once outstanding and sterling institution diminished by partisan power politics. In the past few years we’ve seen the FBI caught in outright lies to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (or FISA) warrants to spy on then candidate and ultimately President Trump as well as some of his staff members.
We’ve seen an over the top abuse of power in the pre-dawn, guns blazing arrest of Roger Stone, and more recently the search warrant executed on Rudy Guiliani’s home and office in which heavily armed agents confiscated all the computers, phones, and files in Rudy’s possession, some of which contained privileged attorney/client information that is hands-off because it violates a fundamental principal of American Justice, that being that any person is entitled to privileged communication with his or her attorney.
Professor Alan Dershowitz is a liberal Democrat, a supporter of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, but an esteemed law professor emeritus at Harvard Law and indisputably one of the nation’s premiere constitutional scholars. He has forcefully condemned the heavy-handed actions of the FBI and suggested that a simple subpoena would have been the proper way to obtain information from the former NY Mayor, former federal prosecutor, and attorney for Donald Trump.
The FBI has performed numerous early morning, guns drawn searches and arrests in relationship with the January 6 Capitol riots. No one I know defends the Jan 6 storming of the Capitol by unarmed knuckleheads, but it’s hard to understand why there has been no similar interest in going after the violent Antifa thugs who attacked policemen, set fire to public and private property, looted stores and businesses, and viciously attacked law-abiding citizens on public streets in Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or other major cities.
The FBI knew from the beginning that Donald Trump didn’t collude with Russians, but doctored documents that were presented to a FISA court judge to smear and destroy supporters of Trump. Classified documents were leaked from high-level FBI officials to the press in clear violation of federal law, yet most all of those caught red-handed were never arrested or even punished or fired. Many collect a taxpayer funded pension right now.
If the FBI can trample the rights of elected officials including a sitting President, then what do you supposed they can do to YOU?
It’s time for a house-cleaning at the Department of Justice and FBI, but it won’t happen under the current administration as the FBI has shown no interest or curiosity about the Hunter Biden laptop or his shady but lucrative business dealings with the Chinese or Ukranians.
It needs to matter to you because when formerly respected law enforcement agencies like the FBI can break down YOUR door at 5am, surround your family with fully automatic weapons, and gather up your personal property and then frog-march you while in your pajamas to a police van while a tipped-off crew from CNN records it all on video, then it’s no longer law enforcement—it’s law weaponization and an abuse of power. And that’s not how America is supposed to work.
POLL: Do you agree?
Liz Cheney was removed from the Republican Leadership team in the House yesterday. Do you agree with this vote? Vote here and leave me a comment, I read them.https://www.mikehuckabee.com/liz-cheney-leadership-poll
NBC cancels the Golden Globe Awards
By Mike Huckabee
NBC has canceled the Golden Globe Awards and some stars, including Tom Cruise, have returned their awards, until the group behind it, the HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) diversifies by adding more black members – or, actually, any black members.
https://www.theblaze.com/news/golden-globes-nbc-cancels-cruise
Since this isn’t my field, I’ll turn this one over to our pop culture guru, Pat Reeder:
“I think it’s hilarious that the sanctimonious Hollywood stars and studio execs are suddenly SHOCKED to learn that an organization of foreign showbiz flacks and hacks whose markets are 65% European are a bunch of white guys. Let me remind you that the HFPA has long been an inside joke, with rumors going back decades that awards can be swayed by free junkets, open bars, schmoozing with stars and way-below-Oscar-level swag (remember Pia Zadora?) To remain “accredited,” a member has to publish a whopping FOUR articles or photos somewhere outside the US per year, in between crashing parties and waiting tables.
They started making their awards like a party just to get stars to show up, and serving booze to loosen their tongues enough so the networks would air them in hopes of catching something juicy. Everyone knew for years what a sham this group was. The hosts even joked about it DURING the show! It was only after it became a ratings hit that anyone started treating the awards seriously, as some sort of Oscar predictors. Not only is that stupid, but now, nobody even cares about the Oscars. The ratings for both shows are down the toilet.
So ‘diversify’ or don’t, do some public moral preening by returning your useless trinkets or don’t. News flash: these awards mean nothing, and nobody cares. We only watched them to see if any celebrities would get drunk enough to blurt out something embarrassing or fall out of their low-cut gowns (that’s why they call it the Golden Globes) or do anything that might accidentally entertain us. Oh, and to hear Ricky Gervais tell egomaniacal celebrities what we really think of them. They already ‘canceled’ him, so there’s no reason to watch it anymore anyway.
If you really think the key to reversing your ratings plunge is to pretend to be social justice warriors and force the Golden Globes to be as ‘woke,’ self-righteous and humorless as the Oscars, be my guest. I have a couple of closets full of DVDs of good movies that I can be watching instead.”
Correcting "The View"
By Mike Huckabee
I’m sure you don’t need me to remind you not to take anything you hear on “The View” seriously. But it did sort of make news that co-host Sunny Hostin (echoing a USA Today editorial – another thing you should never take seriously) urged viewers to “shun” anyone who is hesitant to take the COVID-19 vaccines, particularly “white Evangelicals” and “Republicans.”
https://www.theblaze.com/news/sunny-hostin-shun-vaccine-hesitant
I will be nice enough not to point out just much white Evangelicals and Republicans are fine with being shunned by the ladies on “The View,” and just point out once again the inconvenient fact that among the “vaccine hesitant,” there are just as many Democrats and left-leaning Independents as there are Republicans and right-leaning Independents.
Israel retaliates
By Mike Huckabee
Monday, Israel retaliated with airstrikes after Palestinian and Hamas militants in Gaza launched 160 missiles into Israel, including seven aimed at Jerusalem. This was an unprovoked assault on innocent civilians. Fortunately, Israel’s “Iron Dome” defense system was able to stop most of the missiles.
Now, can you guess which side the Western media blamed for “escalating” the violence? Go ahead, you probably won’t be wrong.
Diagnosis: American Medical Assn. is infected with CRT
By Mike Huckabee
If there was any American institution we thought we could safely assume was based on merit, it has always been the profession of medicine. We like to think that this is the most challenging learning environment possible –- that when we go in for, say, open heart surgery, our surgical team, attendants and technicians are the ones at the top of their game. They might be male, female, young-ish, old-ish, any race or nationality, but they are assumed to be where they are because they are the very best at what they do and completely focused on the task at hand. The practice of medicine. Right? Because often the situation is life or death.
Well, according to the American Medical Association, the idea that the practice of medicine is or should be a meritocracy is outdated and racist. Diagnosis: The AMA has a bad case of CRT. Condition: critical.
“The commonly held narrative of meritocracy is the idea that people are successful purely because of their individual effort,” the AMA says in a new report. “Medical education has largely been based on such flawed meritocratic ideals, and it will take intentional focus and effort to recognize, review and revise this deeply flawed interpretation.”
Please tell me this was written by someone who had just had a brain aneurism and that it will be corrected.
What the AMA recommends now, they say, is for medical schools to incorporate Critical Race Theory into their teaching. In other words, introduce a focus on who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed, because that’s what CRT is all about. “Expand medical school and physician education to include equity, anti-racism, structural competence, public health and social sciences, critical race theory and historical basis of disease,” the document reads.
AMA President Gerald Harmon issued a statement accompanying this report, saying that he is “fully committed to this cause” and telling the medical community that “We believe that by leveraging the power of our membership, our influence and our reach, we can help bring real and lasting change to medicine.”
Indeed, even though the AMA doesn’t directly run America’s health care system –- and thank God for that –- it does wield tremendous influence over the medical schools and teaching hospitals that train our medical professionals. And it has decided that the traditional meritocracy “ignores the inequitably distributed social, structural and political resources.”
The worst thing we used to have to worry about with our medical professionals was that they cheated their way through school. On the bright side, if medical school is no longer a meritocracy, the less gifted and/or dedicated students will no longer have to cheat; they’ll just sail through, anyway. You know, in the name of “justice” and “equity.”
All this is part of an 86-page strategic plan that the AMA released on May 11. As THE EPOCH TIMES tells us in a premium report, this is a three-year “road map” detailing how the organization will use its influence to dismantle “structural and institutional racism” and advance “social and racial justice” in America’s health care system.
The report explains why the concept of “equality” must be replaced with “equity”: “Equality as a process means providing the same amounts and types of resources across populations. Seeking to treat everyone the ‘same’ ignores the historical legacy of disinvestment and deprivation through historical policy and practice of marginalizing and minoritizing communities.”
If you feel your blood pressure going up as you read this, I apologize.
On the American Medical Association website, you can read about the report, which is loaded with all the usual CRT jargon and entitled “The AMA’s strategic plan to embed racial justice and advance health equity.” And, oh, yes, it touches on politics, too. Here’s a downloadable pdf, where I encourage you to read at least the “Preamble,” designed to familiarize the novice with the concept of CRT and also with the jargon characteristic of all CRT texts and conversations. They call this the “parlance”:
“As with other scholarly domains, the field of equity has developed a parlance which conveys both authenticity, precision and meaning. Just as the general parlance of a business document varies from that of a physics document, so too is the case for an equity document...One example is the use of the invocation-like recognition of “land and labor acknowledgement”...It is common that discussions in the field of equity begin with the recognition that our current state was built on the land and labors of others in ways that violated the fundamental principles of equity.”
Ah, so they have an “invocation” (?) that precedes their “scholarly” discussions. That doesn’t sound very scholarly to me –- more like the prayer that precedes the sermon. I’m wondering if perhaps the most gifted and promising surgeon in the whole medical program drops out because he’d rather be listening to a lecture on thoracic surgery than trying to sit through hours of CRT sermonizing.
This plan, the AMA says, has been in the works since June of 2018, with guidelines from the “Health Equity Task Force.”
Certainly it’s important for doctors-in-training to be aware of past injustices and inequities in the health care system and to provide the best level of care possible for every patient. “Ensuring optimal health for all” is a laudable and necessary goal. That said, there is so much word-salad in just this single report that one thing is clear: a medical student could spend a year of his or her precious studies just getting indoctrinated in CRT-speak. That seems to be the new focus.
More to the point, it is not the job of the medical profession to “play a more prominent role in the current national reckoning [‘CURRENT NATIONAL RECKONING’?] on equity and justice.” But this is what the AMA says they must do, “both by using existing assets –- relationships, training platforms, programs, advocacy, communication and marketing infrastructure –- and creating new assets as levers for change.”
Doctors no longer are supposed to just do their very best to treat the sick regardless of the race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic background, etc., of their patient. Why, that would be racist. According to the AMA, they’re supposed to “confront inequities and dismantle white supremacy, racism, and other forms of exclusion and structured oppression, as well as embed social justice and advance equity within and across all forms of health systems.”
They also say they want to have “explicit conversations” about these issues. What I’ve noticed about CRT, though, is that the “conversations” all have to be in one direction, with only one opinion, expressed in a certain way, with certain words. Woe to the gifted surgical resident who expresses any frustration with any of this or challenges or disagrees in any way. I have a feeling he’ll end up cleaning bedpans while some less-talented but intersectional student who checks all the right boxes and uses all the right jargon will head the surgical team. In the name of equity.
I feel a little sick. But it's the American Medical Association that's in need of intensive care, or it won't survive the toxic infection of CRT. Imagine the irony: being treated by a doctor who can't even say that all lives matter.
