Incredibly Unpopular

Let’s hope this story is reflected in the November vote, as it was in votes in Virginia and even San Francisco: according to a Rasmussen survey, the leftist push to indoctrinate school kids with inappropriate sexual content without parents’ knowledge or consent is INCREDIBLY unpopular with Americans.

The poll found that 77% of likely voters are at least somewhat concerned that kids are being exposed to inappropriate, sexually explicit materials. That includes 61% of Democrats and even 50% of self-described liberals. In every gender, race and age category except ages 18-39, more than half of likely voters say they’re “very concerned.” More than two-thirds of likely voters say it is very important that parents are fully informed about what their children get taught in the classroom. There’s also widespread opposition to teaching kids about transsexualism and how to perform sex acts. Interestingly, the only demographic categories where there’s not heavy opposition to these creepy practices are self-described liberals and Democrats.

If Democrats want to go into the midterm elections championing practices that it would have been unthinkable even to suggest in public a couple of years ago, and standing up for the repulsive indoctrination of children and demonizing of parents that’s opposed by big majorities of everyone but themselves, then I say…you go for it. 

Liberty Counsel fights back

Liberty Counsel has filed an amicus brief in a legal challenge to Oklahoma’s ban on abortion, on behalf of black and Hispanic groups. In a time when leftists push their policies by constantly accusing anyone who opposes them of being a racist and calling America a racist society, this eye-opening brief exposes the shockingly racist history of the pro-abortion movement in America.

As I have often reminded people over the years, the early champions of abortion, like Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, were proponents of the vile eugenics movement, which believed the human race could be improved by using abortion and sterilization to weed out “inferior” people, which they defined as the mentally and physically handicapped and certain non-white races. The brief quotes Sanger as arguing that eugenics was “the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems” and that sterilization was the “remedy” to the problem of “an increasing rate of morons.”

Speaking of morons, today’s Planned Parenthood movement plans to try to get around state limits on abortion with its first mobile abortion clinic. The 37-foot abortion RV will drive around Illinois, providing abortion services to women crossing the border from neighboring states. They say they’re considering using churches as stopping-off points. Considering their history – and the fact that black women make up just 13% of the female population but account for 33.6% of all abortions – I think it’s safe to assume which neighborhoods and churches they will target with their rolling death wagon.

Unhinged: Stacey Abrams makes another wild claim

Stacey Abrams makes so many wild claims that are divorced from reality that it’s hard to keep up with them all. Recently, she actually tried to blame her Republican opponent, Gov. Brian Kemp, for a 55% jump in crime in Georgia. I guess she thinks people are dumb enough to believe that it’s the Republican Governor’s fault that “progressive” officials in Democrat-run cities defunded police and let all the criminals out of jail. And to be fair, maybe her supporters are that dumb. But just in case anyone can’t figure out why crime is way up in some states, and pinpoint where that problem is coming from, here’s an article that might help give them a clue.

Best Political Exchange Of The Day! 

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre a simple question: “You’ve said the President is responsible for gas prices coming down. Is he responsible for them going up?” Her response: “So, it’s a lot more nuanced than that…There have been global challenges…There’s been (the) pandemic, and Putin’s war.” She rambled on from there.

Again, I have to say that a lot of people pile on Karine, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. I feel sorry for her. Not even Einstein could do her job. While she doesn’t have to face the shark tank of hostility that my daughter Sarah did, at least Sarah had solid, factual answers to their stupid biased questions.

Poor Karine faces the simplest questions and has no answers at all, because there are none. Every day, she’s sent out completely unprepared and has to defend totally indefensible policies, like open borders letting in millions of illegal entrants or skyrocketing gas prices because Biden is deliberately trying to destroy our domestic energy industry. It’s said that if you have no facts on your side, all you can do is “baffle them with bull (BLEEP.)” Well, that’s what her reply was, and it was certainly baffling. So by that standard, she’s doing a pretty good job.

Related: Proving that it’s impossible for anyone to do Karine Jean-Pierre’s job of defending the indefensible, Fox News border reporter Bill Melugin asked a series of Democrat office holders if they agreed with the Biden White House’s (laughable) claim that the border is secure. He asked a simple question for which the answer (yes or no) takes no more than a second. Yet look at how many of them just didn’t have time to answer. They all had to get someplace else. Or to be more precise: anyplace else.

She’s going to be too busy being the best Governor in America. Maybe when she reaches her term limit, she’ll follow Trump or Ron DeSantis into the Oval Office as President.

I hope this reassures them a bit so they can all sleep soundly at night.  

"Bros" update

I mentioned yesterday that radical gay "comedian" Bill Eichner is blaming the box office failure of his gay romcom "Bros" on homophobic Republicans, Christians and Trump voters not going to see it -- after he's spent years cursing them and telling them he doesn't want them to see his films. He reminds me of the story I told in my TV monologue last Saturday, about the woman who had to be a Democrat because she was in the same mess she'd gotten herself into before we met, but now it's somehow my fault.

I also mentioned that his real problem is that gay audiences also stayed away in droves. Well, here's an article by a gay writer who did see the movie, thought it was "basically awful," and was angered and offended by the way it demonizes regular gay men and replaces real gay rights history with revisionist "queer" propaganda.

This is the very definition of "not my fight," but I just thought I'd let Eichner know that while his movie might have flopped like a beached bass, at least it did succeed in bringing Christians, Republicans and gay people together in agreement about something.
