I grew up faithfully watching the Mickey Mouse Club on our black & white TV and singing along with the opening and closing songs. I knew all the Mouseketeers by name and probably had a crush on the girl Mouseketeers like Annette Funicello. On Sunday nights my family watched Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, although I never saw it in color. Color TV wouldn’t be something my family had until I was in high school. There wasn’t a Disney World in Florida back then—just a Disneyland in California, and I dreamed that someday I’d get to go there. The Disney brand was magic and Walt Disney was like everyone’s favorite uncle who was rich and had all the cool stuff. The Disney movies were dependably wholesome, family-friendly, and had a moral lesson embedded in the plot. Parents knew that their kids could see a Disney film and be entertained without being embarrassed or indoctrinated.

Just a few years back, we took our entire family to Disney World. Sure, it was mostly about taking the grandkids there and making sure they were indulged to the hilt.

But the wonderful family-friendly company that Walt Disney founded is gone, replaced by creepy corporate executives who have lost their minds and will likely lose a lot of their customers. They certainly have lost me.

Disney executives have outright lied about the Florida legislation that prohibits government schools from teaching sexual content to pre-schoolers and young elementary children. What person in his or her right mind want 4 year old children to be taught about homosexuality, transgenderism, and sexual expression? Disney execs repeated the utterly debunked lie that the bill was a “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Such language was nowhere in the bill. But it gets worse. In a conference call, other Disney leaders expressed the goal that in future Disney movies, at least half of all the characters in a film with be gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, queer, or something other than heterosexual.

And theme parks will be forbidden to say “hello boys and girls” and instead will be required to say “welcome dreamers and friends.” And no more will little girls be called princess when they show up in a gown. I guess boys could be a princess under the new perverted Disney code. Who knows?

This is so outrageous it’s hard to believe that the Disney company has become such a purveyor of soft-porn and woke-ism so that instead of entertaining children with fantasy and magic, Disney’s new model is sexual fantasy, outright betrayal and rejection of traditional values of marriage and gender, and instead of moral neutrality, Disney has opted for immoral advocacy.

Will their remake of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs be called The Nymphomaniac and the 7 Male Prostitutes? Will Lady and the Tramp be re-named “The Lesbian and the Housing Challenged Non-gendered Animal?” Will Beauty and the Beast be renamed “The Bi-Sexual and the Child Predator?” And Swiss Family Robinson will now be about a dysfunctional family that becomes homeless and lives in a local park after wrecking their VW hippie van.

I simply refuse to believe that this dishonesty and insanity from Disney represents what American parents and grandparents want to purchase for their children. But the only way to push back against this filth is to find other products and places when you purchase entertainment for your family.

This is no longer about party politics. A clear majority of Florida Democrats support the law prohibiting schools from indoctrinating 4 and 5 year old children about various sexual agendas that are probably NOT the agendas of parents. I guess the small number of people supporting the perverted version of a public school will next want to trade in yellow school buses for white, windowless utility vans typically called “kidnapper vans” since that is pretty much the direction Disney is taking with your children.

I am old enough to remember when parents would say, “Sure, you can watch that movie. It’s a Disney movie so it will be safe.” Not anymore! This ain’t kid’s stuff. And I for one don’t want to enrich the people that have destroyed the Magic Kingdom and turned it into the Perverted Palace. Mickey shouldn’t be the face of Disney anymore. The Disney character most representative of the company would be GOOFY!

Thank you so much for not being afraid to tell this like it is. It’s absolutely horrible to think what the family is being subjected to on a daily basis. I’m terrified for my grandchildren. We need Jesus not all the “stuff” this world is giving us and we are expected to be tolerant of… yuck!

You are so right about Disney.
The Buena Vista brand was always safe. I still love all the old animated movies and have them on VHS/DVD. Walt Disney is probably spinning in his grave. His wonderful parks are now hotbeds of perversion.

I have always loved Disney. We took our children several years ago. Well I got to go back in 2018. We had a very good time but I will never go back. I have kept goofy cause he is so funny but I will not. Get another. Got rid of all my Things I had gotten to decorate at Christmas with. The devil is having a ball.??

Yes, I agree. It's so very sad what has happened, but it has been in play for a very long time. To much to text of course, but I continue to pray for people to hear the voice of our Lord calling to them before it's to late. Proverbs chapter 1 describes people and even nations in our self-centered downward slide so well. Verse 24 and through the end shows that eventually God will get fed up with a people who refuse His counsel and they reap the conseqeunces thereof. However, it's not to late.......there's still 10, 100, 1000s and more pleading in righteous prayer for this country and others. God will hear us! Have faith and continue in Him.

I am 76 years old and now live in Florida and brought my children & grandchildren to Disney many times over the years.
Being a Fl resident since 1992 my husband and I would go there every year just to enjoy the day and have dinner and enjoy the characters.
We have missed not being able to go this past few years because of our health. .....But not anymore.
It is a disgrace what has happened there. Walt Disney must be rolling over in his grave. Very sad and a great loss for our young children.

I'm with you Mr. Huckabee. Disney has gone crazy. But we also know when a person does not have God in their life, there is no limit to their moral compass because they don't have one. It's time we fight back in this spiritual warfare! I can take my grandchildren other places... what a shame. God Bless us all who stand for righteousnes sake. ??. God Bless you...and God Bless America.

Your article about the Disney is SPOT ON. I am a travel agent and started this career selling WDW 15 years ago. Everything nostalgic, family oriented, sweet, innocent is gone with the Disney product. We have been happy to not sell WDW vacation pkgs. as they are the WORST company in the travel industry!! It pays the lowest commissions & truly the most work! Disney makes it very clear they do not support travel agents, nor are we needed to sell the product. When you state “the magic is gone” sadly it’s been gone for a while. Now it’s exposed. The park is all about tracking every move (Magic Bands) guests make. They have out-priced the middle class. I have a very high end clientele (my base was Long Island, NY) and even the super wealthy make comments about the insane prices. There was a time when I truly loved planning first trips to WDW, family reunions, but no longer. It’s so sad. My 4 grown children grew up on Disney movies & our WDW vacations were unforgettably magical. It is heartbreaking what the liberal corporate greed has done to this American dream. The great Walt Disney is spinning in his grave. I truly wish the conspiracy theory of his body being frozen was true!! LOL I’d love to see him toss out everyone of these loons destroying his legacy.
Bless you & your family for all you do. We love your show! We now reside in TN (escaped LI,NY in 2020) and have been to the live recording. It was great! Definitely will be planning that again!
    Easter Blessings??

I too grew up with Disney although a little later than you did. I live in Merritt Island, a little town by Cape Canaveral, about 50 miles east of Orlando and I was there in 1971 on Grand Opening day at Walt Disney World in Orlando. That day I met Fess Parker (Davey Crocket) and saw a number of other celebrities although Mr. Parker was the only one I shook hands with. Disney was truly a magical place then. But I saw it change over the years. Their prices kept creeping up and up. Now, it's so expensive to visit Disney that I honestly don't see how so many people can afford it. But I could tolerate the price gouging they do considering the magic of the parks, until they started supporting the Gays. We accidently visited Disney during the week recognized as "Gay Days." It was a disgusting experience. After spending a small fortune to get tickets and traverse the toll city known as Orlando, we decided to leave the park early because the spectacle my grandkids were seeing was straight out of a porn movie. This was years ago and now Disney has continued its degradation into this current immoral cess pool of a company. So I totally agree with your opinion here although you don't go far enough in condemning Disney as they should be condemned. I guess God will do that in time.

I lived in southern CA when Disney Land was started and it was super. Over the year have also included going to Disney World and it was also amazing! Both place that no one had to worry about kids seeing anything there. Disney movies were always family friendly. But now, we have to warn parents to not let their kids watch Disney movies and going to Disney theme parks might be concerning. Walt Disney must be turning over in his grave at what his descendants & others on the board have done to this once great company!! I do feel that GOD will remember!!

As you can tell by my email I am a major Disney fan. My daughter works at Disney World and my son lives near Disneyland. We spent their growing up years going at least once a year to Disney World. The memories are magical and wonderful. It absolutely breaks my heart to see what they’ve become. I was Already dismayed as the prices keep going steeper and the offerings keep diminishing. Now, I cant even bring myself to watch their movies let alone pay them thousands to enjoy the parks knowing what they now represent.
Goofy is too naive and innocent to be the new face of Disney. I would go with Madame Medusa from The Rescuers!
