And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Still in pursuit of the elusive Stefan Halper
Remember the name Stefan Halper? This mysterious individual played a role in the Russia hoax, serving as a confidential human source to (yes) SPY ON Trump campaign associates Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis. Going back even farther, to 2015, he also is alleged to have spread a false rumor about an affair between retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn –- considered a pariah by the Obama administration when he was Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency –- and a Russian-born British citizen named Svetlana Lokhova.
As Margot Cleveland explains in her latest piece, “To date, Halper has succeeded in sidestepping any inquiry into his role in the SpyGate scandal...” But Lokhova has been working through an interminable appeals process trying to get him into court with a lawsuit --- first one suit, actually, and then “Take 2” in December of 2020 (details in Cleveland’s story) --- for allegedly defaming her to her publishers to bring about the cancelation of the book she was writing about him, called “THE SPIDER: Stefan A. Halper and the Dark Web of a Coup.”
Too bad. My research team and I would’ve really liked to read her book.
In October of 2020, the Senate Homeland Security Committee (then led by Republicans) subpoenaed Halper to testify and to “produce all records related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation; the Department of Justice Inspector General’s review of that investigation; and the ‘unmasking’ of U.S. persons or entities affiliated, formally or informally, with the Trump campaign, Trump transition or Trump administration.” That might have proved quite enlightening, but guess what? Halper never showed and, as Cleveland reports, “to this date appears to have avoided any questioning by Congress.”
So, why wasn’t HE held in criminal contempt and put in jail? I’ll bet Peter Navarro would like to know that, too.
Anyway, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the dismissal of Lokhova’s case. But then Halper’s attorneys filed another Motion to Dismiss, which Cleveland says contains “numerous frivolous arguments.” She says the judge in the case should deny his Motion to Dismiss because “it is impossible at this stage of the litigation to know precisely what Halper said about Lokhova to succeed in having Post Hill Press cancel her book contract.”
Lokhova also claims that Halper made threats to CBS Corporation, the parent company of publisher Simon & Schuster. “What Halper said to CBS Corporation, and what else, beyond the letters, his attorneys said to Post Hill Press and Simon & Schuster is unknown at this time.” This, in part, is why Cleveland says the judge should deny Halper’s Motion to Dismiss and proceed (at last) to discovery.
If the case moves forward, the elusive Stefan Halper will finally have to answer questions publicly about his role in the Russia hoax. It’s not known if Special Counsel John Durham has interviewed him yet, but if he hasn’t, we deserve to know why Halper’s been able to dodge everyone’s questions for this long.
"Disinformation Governance Board" has ceased to be
When Nina Jankowicz was let go as executive director of the controversial new “Disinformation Governance Board,” we said that was a good start. It was obvious that even without Nanny Dearest in charge, the government could still use the board as originally intended to decide what was “true” (as in, useful) and what was not. Just because they had no talent for musical theatre and didn’t make silly videos of themselves singing Mary Poppins songs didn’t mean they weren’t just as zealous about controlling messages as she would have been.
The Department of Homeland Security released this statement: “We have now had briefings on the relevant disinformation-related activities of the Department. We are not ready, as of yet, to provide recommendations on the Department’s most effective approach to disinformation threats, including commitments to increase transparency and protect civil rights, civil liberties, and privacy.
“However, at this point we have concluded that there is no need for a Disinformation Governance Board.”
One question for Jankowicz: Did you ever issue corrections for all your own statements that turned out to be wrong? If you did, they were downplayed to the extent that I don’t remember seeing them at all.
It should be noted that if Jankowicz hadn’t called attention to herself by posting to TikTok her “practically putrid in every way” musical tribute to censorship, the Disinformation Governance Board might have quietly established itself as our new Ministry Of Truth. But thankfully she did, and now that it’s gone, all the government nannies had better accept that we’re on to them, that we despise what they're trying to do, and that there’s no amount of sugar that will help their medicine go down.

But guess who’s picking up where the Department of Homeland Security left off? It’s our friends at National Public Radio, who announced Friday in a memo to their newsroom staff that they’re setting up their own “Disinformation Reporting Team.”
What, did the editors at NPR decide to finally start checking their own work? Physician, heal thyself. Keep in mind, these are the people who refused to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story. AT ALL. Recall what they said after the NEW YORK POST broke that news: “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.” That was NPR’s Managing Editor for News Terrence Samuels.
Yet in 2019, NPR did choose to run with the Jussie Smollett hoax, calling it a “Whitewash of Judgment,” and “covered” it by tweeting out what his attorney had said about about how he was a “victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public causing an inappropriate rush to judgment.”
In 2020, they described the two career criminals whom Kyle Rittenhouse shot in self-defense as kind, gentle activists who were “daily fixtures at the protests against police shootings and racial inequality.” Do not expect accurate and/or objective reporting from NPR; that is not happening.
Anyone who looks to NPR for news will come up dry, like Rick in Casablanca. “What in heaven’s name brought you to Casablanca?” “My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters.” “The waters?...We’re in the desert?” “I was misinformed.”
With their nose for news, perhaps the newshounds at NPR might be just as comfortable working as government information nannies. On the other hand, since NPR does receive taxpayer funds, it should be noted that, in effect, they already are.
Fauci won't leave soon enough
Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that he plans to step down at the end of Joe Biden’s term. So one more reason to hope that comes as soon as possible.
Were you one of those crazy, right-wing, science-denying conspiracy theorists who didn’t believe the government officials who preached doom and lockdowns during the COVID pandemic? Well, you were right.
Must-Read
This article at Redstate.com touches on the same theme as my recent “Huckabee” monologue about the left’s “big lie” that pro-life people don’t care about the mothers or babies after they’re born. But it also goes into their blatantly evil argument that we need to kill unborn babies to keep Medicaid expenses down.
My interview with Congresswoman Lauren Boebert
Rep. Lauren Boebert is a petite lady, but some big-talking Congress members seem to be too terrified of her to say the nasty things they post on Twitter to her face.
She was my guest on “Huckabee” this past weekend. That story has a link to a brief clip, but here’s the entire interview, which you should definitely see so you’ll be prepared to ignore the fabricated garbage that the media likes like to throw at her.
Recruitment problems
It seems that treating patriotic Americans from military families as enemies of the state and concentrating more on diversity and transgenderism than battle preparedness is not good for recruiting volunteers to join our new “woke” military. (Full article requires free registration, but there’s a link and a lengthy excerpt here.)

Related: In his brutally hilarious way, Kurt Schlichter asks the obvious question: If the Dems think they’re going to force a radical agenda onto Americans, who’s going to do it for them when cops are quitting in droves because of their insane anti-police policies and all the young people who might usually want to join the military are no longer enlisting.
A "fascist bar"
Some Antifa keyboard warriors decided to try an in-person assault on a bar in Salem, Oregon, that was holding an anti-open borders event (they declared this a “fascist bar” because anyone who doesn’t knuckle under to their threats is a “fascist” somehow.) These blue-haired gender studies majors and chubby video gamers with delusions of being street fighting revolutionaries showed up with their usual masked faces and tried to start trouble with the patrons of that bar, who happen to be members of a local biker club. Boy, was that a bad idea.

I liked this Twitter comment: “The faux rough folk will have a steep & painful learning curve if they continue to believe their own press releases.”
Andy Ngo, a rare example of a real journalist who actually deserves a Pulitzer Prize and who has been covering these pantomime revolutionaries for years at risk of his own safety, has full coverage at the link (warning: predictably nasty language!) It’s hard to say what’s the funniest part: watching them run away, or seeing how they tried to later “fight back” by doxing bikers on the Internet. I'm sure they're quaking in their boots. (Ngo turned the tables on Antifa by revealing their real identities, including one who just pleaded guilty to doing $164,000 in damage to a courthouse.
But my vote for the funniest part was all their whining online about how the Salem police didn’t come protect them. These would be the same police they’ve spent the past couple of years attacking and demanding that they be defunded and disbanded. They must’ve mistaken Salem for Portland. Even some fellow Antifa members are trying to warn their idiot comrades not to pick fights with bikers, the same way I tried to warn them to keep their communist cosplay out of red states, small towns and rural areas, where they would be lucky if they were able to run away. Violent revolution is a lot more dangerous when you don’t have local leftist officials ordering the police to put up with your attacks and arrest anyone who defends himself.
It’s funny how these people think they want anarchy, but if they ever had to survive in a real battle, they’d last about as long as a dandelion in a blender.
This isn't better
If you thought Nancy Pelosi’s husband getting arrested for DUI didn’t look good, this isn’t any better.
A despicable lie
I’m tired of hearing the pro-abortionists who treat killing an unborn child as not just a divine right, but a desired outcome of a pregnancy, rail against the pro-life community and accusing us of “not caring about a baby after it’s born. That is a despicable lie. It’s the kind of misinformation that ought to get those who spread it banned on Facebook and Twitter, but of course it won’t. Social media platforms are more than willing accomplices in the killing of babies and the coverup of what the so-called pro-choicers really believe. Truth is, they aren’t for REAL choice, but only for the choice that involves an abortion in which a baby is ripped to shreds by surgical instruments and the body parts discarded like a used paper towel. There are at least 808 kill centers like Planned Parenthood that make big money selling abortions. And sadly, some of America’s corporate giants not only support the abortion industry, but in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling that moved the decision back to the real democracy of the people’s elected representatives, we better understand the reason behind corporate America’s blind support of abortion. Companies ranging from the once family-friendly, but now fully leftist anti-family Disney Corporation and left-leaning Amazon, to even once more conservative companies like Tyson Foods(the world’s largest protein producer) from my home state of Arkansas--are offering to pay for the abortions of their employees by paying for their travel to an abortion friendly state if they currently live in a state where the people have voted not to kill a big portion of the next generation. Why you might ask? Simple: If you run a big corporation, an abortion is cheaper than maternity leave or pre-natal health care. It’s cheaper than years of health care coverage for a child on the employee’s compensation package. To be blunt—big corporations just don’t care much about YOU having children. They’d rather you just an abortion. It makes them more money. They just really aren’t into you much if you’re a woman. Sound crass and cruel? What’s more cruel than paying to kill babies but not offering those same employees the money to travel to another state to adopt a baby?
The lie that pro-life people don’t care is laughable. There are over 3000 crisis pregnancy centers in the US. And they provide real choice for women. Most provide pregnancy testing and ultrasound screenings at no cost. Most provide counseling, and free tests for STD. And most all of them not only provide services for the pregnancy, but after the baby is born, provide for baby clothes, cribs, diapers, strollers, car seats, and more.
Last week, Senator Elizabeth Warren spoke out. I think we need to change the letter W in her last name to a B—and we can just call her Elizabeth Barren. In a fiery public speech, she announced she wants to shut down ALL the crisis pregnancy centers. In other words, if a woman isn’t willing to kill her unborn child, Senator Barren thinks that no one should be able to help you keep that baby by offering actual health care. When the pro-abortionists use words like reproductive health, they are lying. There is nothing reproductive about an abortion! It ends reproduction—doesn’t preserve a life. In fact, an abortion is the only medical procedure carried out in which at least one patient will absolutely die from the treatment. And the death will be unnecessary, unwanted by the actual victim, and potentially harmful to the mother.
I speak several times a year at fundraising events for a crisis pregnancy center. Almost none take taxpayer money—unlike Planned Parenthood that couldn’t live without funding from the government. And try asking for an ultrasound, a car seat, baby clothes, or diapers from Planned Parenthood. You’ll discover they are not in the reproductive health business at all. They are in the abortion business. You pay; they slay. Blunt? Yes, but enough lies about the people pretending to be about “health,” and vowing a war against the clinics that actually provide help to expectant mothers! And lately those clinics have been targets of ruthless terrorism that includes fire bombing, graffiti sprayed on their exteriors, windows shattered, and workers harassed while coming to work.
Elizabeth Warren vows she’ll shut down the crisis pregnancy centers. I think it’s time we shut down the killing machines like Planned Parenthood and shut down Senators like Elizabeth Warren by sending them home and replacing them with Senators who believe in real choice and real children.
