HEALTH AND HEALING, IN MEMORIAM, PRAYERS ANSWERED

Please pray for me - I'm suffering from really bad acid reflux. Your prayers are genuinely appreciated.

I am praying for the one suffering from acid reflux. I have suffered from it for over 30 years. I used to take prescriptions but they did not help me. I had surgery on my esophagus but that failed. I am now trying a natural approach: I use papaya enzymes. Digestive enzymes, pancreatic enzymes, probiotics and I am trying to eat healthy and I am trying to lose more weight. I use a heating pad on my abdomen. I no longer have a gall bladder. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist on Monday, November 27. I pray God heals you and gives you relief from your pain. I am humbly requesting prayer for a difficult situation in my life. I was deeply hurt by a man I trusted and loved. He lives in across the Atlantic. Although we never met in person, we became very close, especially during the lockdowns. We encouraged and helped each other for 5 years. We had an argument last week. I wrote terrible things to him via email and ended the relationship. He said that I should be ashamed of myself. He also said to contact him when I feel "less hatred." He always said that he loved me, even after last week's event. Although he is not a believer, he asked me to "pray or us" because he believes that we ought to be together. I miss him, but I think this is a toxic attachment. I am sorry for judging this person and for allowing him to become so close to me. I ask God to forgive me. May His will be done.

I would like to ask for yalls prayers that I can let go of my addiction to alcohol. When I see myself in the mirror every morning, I know that's not who God wants me to be. Bryan Watts

Mekhai, He's had painful rashes on his legs for years. The rashes have caused extreme discomfort and thwarted his ability to walk. Crawling was a way for him to avoid pain but it has caused his legs and feet not to grow correctly. He's had his legs casted, but Doctors don't know if this will correct the problem. He's been to Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins. They have no idea what the problem is. As soon as a physician gets really involved in his case, his tenure is up, he's relocated, or he goes into private practice. Then the parents and Mekhai are back to square one. Prayers that God will heal his delightful child. His mother is a Christian. His father and his father's family are unbelievers.

Prayers for wisdom for Hope.

I was involved in an accident on the highway while traveling to church this morning. The other driver swerved into my lane, hit my car, and then lost control of her car which ended up in the median on its side. An older woman and a young boy were taken to the hospital with injuries. I have been praying for the family and would humbly ask you all to join me. May our Heavenly Father be with the family, comfort them and heal their injuries. Thank you prayer warriors! Blessings, J

November 30 is coming

I started this newsletter back in the fall of 2016 just ahead of President Trump's election over Hillary Clinton.  Since then, I have chronicled his presidency, a nation grappling with COVID, woke ideology, elections, more elections, Congress and finally Joe Biden's presidency.

My team and I like to say that we read the news, so you don't have to. We spend late nights and early mornings, finding news we think is important for you to read, and then we add our two cents and sometimes three cents to help frame things.

It's hard work and time consuming.

We'd like to keep the newsletter going but can't if we don't reach our monthly paid subscriber goal: we have to find 324 paying subscribers by the end of this month to keep the lights on, and another 900 next month.

Finding hundreds of new paying subscribers each month can be a tall order, but we have been doing it since July, when we made the determination that our old model of paid advertising in our emails and website just wasn't working.

As I wrote in September about an investigation into all the liberal groups that fund and feed “information” to the A.P., and how that helps to explain why so many “news stories” on subjects like “climate change” read like activist group press releases. From those stories, you’d think there is no other viewpoint other than turned-up-to-11 hysteria. But that’s not at all true, as this story shows.
