Sarah Huckabee Sanders chosen to deliver the State of the Union Response

Here's the most important breaking news items of the day!

Next Tuesday, after President Biden gives his State of the Union Address, and for once starts shaking hands with actual people afterward, the Republican response will be given by the new Governor of Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Yes, I'm very proud, and I'm sure she'll do a fantastic job.

I think the GOP showed great wisdom and discretion in picking her to respond to what Biden is going to say, and not me.

Happy Groundhog Day!

Happy Groundhog Day! I hate to break it to you, but Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog reportedly saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter (no real surprise there.)

https://www.foxnews.com/us/groundhog-day-2023-punxsutawney-phil-sees-his-shadow-predicts-6-more-weeks-winter

What was a surprise is that when they hauled Phil out of his burrow, they found a stack of Joe Biden classified documents in there, too.

Omar Out

Thursday morning, after the expected meltdown of Democrats crying and screaming “white supremacy,” Rep. Ilhan Omar was officially booted off the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Despite the histrionics, this had zip to do with racism, white supremacy or anti-Muslim discrimination. It’s because Omar is a rabid anti-Semite who won’t stop making slanderous attacks on our closest Middle Eastern ally Israel, which is why she has no business being on a committee that exists to strengthen ties with our allies.

Bonchie at Redstate.com has an entertaining recap of the childish and hysterical antics of Omar’s fellow Squad members, plus a reminder that this is nothing more than the precedent they created when they removed Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene from their committees actually being applied to themselves.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2023/02/02/breaking-ilhan-omar-officially-gets-the-boot-n697618

They are literally throwing tantrums because the rules they apply to other people got applied to them. I’ve seen two-year-olds that behave better in the Walmart candy aisle than these people do in Congress.

A positive sign that “cancel culture” is losing its grip on terrified Hollywood liberals

Maybe you thought that I was being partisan when I called Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th committee a “kangaroo kommittee.” Well, I freely admit to being partisan, but in that case, I was being 100% accurate. And now, we finally have official confirmation of that.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2023/02/01/chief-january-6th-investigator-makes-shocking-admissions-and-committee-members-covered-them-up-n697197

In an interview with NBC News (surprisingly), the Kommittee’s chief investigator, Tim Heaphy, admitted that the FBI had direct, specific, unambiguous intelligence prior to January 6th that some people were planning to get inside the Capitol for a violent protest, and that if they had taken “a more assertive, protective posture,” the riot could have been prevented. He said, “Law enforcement had a very direct role in contributing to the failures, the security failures led to the violence.”

So there’s something for the Republicans’ real investigation to look into. If they knew it was coming, why didn’t they stop it? Did they think it would be more politically useful to prosecute everyone there to beyond the extent of the law and to blame Trump than to just prevent it from happening in the first place? Enquiring minds want to know.

To channel Ron Popeil, “But wait! There’s more!”

NBC reported that “people familiar with the committee’s work” told NBC that committee members downplayed the security failures by law enforcement in their final report “because they wanted to keep the focus on former President Trump.” You remember? The guy who offered them National Guard troops, which they turned down, and then blamed him for the riot they knew was coming and did nothing to stop.

And that, my friends, is a kangaroo kommittee. Although I do feel that I owe an apology to kangaroos for associating those noble creatures with these people.

Articles of impeachment filed

By Mike Huckabee

Wednesday, Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs filed articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Majorkas. This is the second time Biggs has filed to impeach Majorkas, but Democrats ran the House the first time. It won’t get past the Democrat Senate due to Washington’s #1 Rule: “No Democrat is ever held accountable.” But at least it might lead to House impeachment hearings to expose just how damaging Majorkas’ tenure has been for the nation.

https://www.westernjournal.com/gop-rep-announces-articles-impeachment-bidens-homeland-security-secretary/

Biggs said Majorkas has been “literally attacking the essence of this country” and putting “so many people” in danger by refusing to enforce border security and allowing an unprecedented wave of illegal immigration, terrorists, gang members and deadly drugs into the US. Biggs said Congress has a responsibility to remove any public official “who is causing public harm and violating the public trust. That is impeachment.” Funny, I thought that was what Mayorkas believed was his job description.

This isn’t even the first impeachment filing he’s faced in 2023, and it’s only Groundhog Day. Here’s one that also brings in perjury.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/texas-lawmaker-torches-dhs-secretary-mayorkas-lists-impeachable-offenses-perjured-himself

In response, Mayorkas told (guess who?) MSNBC that the U.S. immigration system "has been terribly broken and outdated for decades" (“Really, mommy, that lamp was broken when I got here!”), adding, "In the meantime, within a broken system, we are doing everything that we can to increase its efficiency, to provide humanitarian relief when the law permits, and to also deliver an enforcement consequence when the law dictates. That is exactly what we are doing. And as far as I am concerned, I will continue to do that with tremendous pride in the people with whom I work."

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rep-andy-biggs-files-articles-of-impeachment-against-homeland-security-secretary-alejandro-mayorkas/ar-AA170KPz

To fact check that, let’s ask some people with whom he works what they think of the job he’s doing. I don’t think he should call any of them as defense witnesses at any of his impeachment trials.

DeSantis sets an example

I wrote recently about how elected officials in red states need to do more to rein in schools and universities that use taxpayers’ money to hire only far-left teachers and indoctrinate students in radical ideology. Well, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is giving them a terrific example of how to do it. It’s obvious what the problems are; just fix them and pay no attention to what your worst critics say.

DeSantis has recently put real diversity on his state’s college board by appointing some conservatives, he’s weeding racist and anti-American Critical Race Theory out of schools, and he demanded that college African-American history courses not include a big side order of BLM propaganda and “queer theory.” For his efforts, he’s been called a racist, a white nationalist and the next Hitler, but any Republican Governor was going to get called those things anyway. Consider the source, which includes a teacher who freely admits to being a socialist admirer of Marx and Lenin and who wants to replace capitalism and abolish the police, and promotes those views to students. But it's DeSanits who's the dangerous radical. Riiiiiight...

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/socialist-teacher-admits-she-wants-to-abolish-the-police-amid-school-curriculum-battle-with-desantis/ar-AA16Tar6

DeSantis’ response when asked about all these attacks, both from the left and from potential presidential rival Donald Trump on the right: “What I would just say is this: I roll out of bed. I have people attacking me from all angles. It’s been happening for many, many years… When you’re an elected executive, you have to make all kinds of decisions. And the good thing is, is that the people are able to render a judgment on that, whether they reelect you or not.” He’s right, the only opinion that matters is the voters’ on Election Day, and they reelected DeSantis in a landslide.

The bottom line is that DeSantis ignores the attacks and he’s winning this battle that must be fought.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/rick-moran/2023/02/01/college-board-surrenders-to-desantis-on-ap-african-american-studies-n1666914

He’s even emboldened some unlikely supporters to speak up in agreement.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/florida-democrat-agrees-desantis-ap-african-american-history-course-i-think-its-trash

I’ve been telling Republicans for years to stop being intimidated by a handful of cranks whose voices are amplified just because they managed the impressive feat of obtaining free Twitter accounts. They survive on attention and outrage, so just laugh at them and ignore them. They think they’re “influencers,” but who do they really influence, aside from each other? As for the major media outlets that badmouth Republicans for doing their job, they are less respected all the time, and they’re losing what little following they still have at a stunning rate.

I already told you about CNN’s basement-level TV ratings, with their entire primetime lineup combined drawing fewer viewers than Fox News’ afternoon show, “The Five.” And the public is quite right to reject them, since there are so few actual journalists left that a majority of them no longer even know the difference between journalism and propaganda. Want proof?

A new Pew Research poll found that 76% of Americans believe that journalists should always strive to give all sides of a story.  Only 44% of alleged “journalists” polled agreed with that.

https://instapundit.com/567330/

The survey also found that the younger a journalist is, or the more they believe that “misinformation” (defined by whom?) is dangerous, the less likely they are to believe that they should cover all sides of a story.

Hardly a surprise, since a recent series of interviews with 75 media leaders found that most now consider the idea of objectivity to be reactionary and even harmful. As the editor-in-chief of the San Francisco Chronicle put it, “Objectivity has got to go.”

https://jonathanturley.org/2023/02/01/objectivity-has-got-to-go-news-leaders-call-for-end-of-objective-journalism/

News flash to you, pal: Objectivity left your paper and most of these other organs long ago. That’s why your readers did, too.

Another example of why Republicans need to act

Here’s another example of why Republicans need to start using the power of the purse strings to reverse the leftist tyranny of our universities. Meet the Arizona State University student who’s appealing his conviction on trespassing charges because he dared to hand out copies of the Constitution to others without getting the school’s permission first. ASU officials claim that space could only be used by recognized student organizations, but his attorneys from the Liberty Justice Center say it’s designated as a public forum and he had every right to hand out copies of the Constitution there.

https://behindtheblack.com/behind-the-black/points-of-information/pushback-student-appeals-conviction-for-distributing-constitution-on-public-campus/

I can’t help wondering if they would have pressed charges if he’d been handing out LGBTQ fliers or copies of “The 1619 Project.” Sounds like the people running ASU need someone to give them a copy of the Constitution, particularly the First Amendment to it.

If you don’t believe that modern culture is waging war on religious freedom, then check out this...

If you don’t believe that modern culture is waging war on religious freedom, then check out this story about the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. They’re under fire by LGBTQ activists for requiring those who want to be members to sign a statement on Biblical sexuality. It states that God created people as male or female, and that’s a fixed matter of biology, not choice. Also that God, not government, created the institution of marriage, which is between a man and a woman, and is the only context for sexual desire and expression.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/first-baptist-church-faces-backlash-biblical-sexuality-pledge-congregants

You can tell how hostile our society has become to traditional Biblical beliefs not from the fact that LGBTQ activists are attacking the church, which is to be expected, but from the way the media treat it as if the church’s beliefs are the ones that are shocking and controversial. They’re simply the basic beliefs of every Christian church for about two millennia, up until a few years ago, when the Supreme Court not only rewrote centuries of marriage law, it also apparently rewrote the Bible and “Gray’s Anatomy.”

I thought the pastor of the church had a perfect response to all this. I urge you to click the article and read it all, but in a nutshell, he said that they welcome everyone to come worship with them “not because we agree about sexuality, but because we believe everything the Bible says about loving your neighbor, and we really think it’s possible to disagree without being hateful." He added, “When you come, we will ask you to respect our beliefs just as you want us to respect yours.”

Wow, doing unto others as you would want them to do unto you! What a radical concept for 2023! If only our universities could be as tolerant, welcoming and open to diverse viewpoints as our traditional Christian churches!

Another Woke Narrative Crumbles

By Mike Huckabee

Another Woke Narrative Crumbles: A group of Hispanic state lawmakers in deep blue Connecticut proposed following my daughter Sarah’s (I guess I should call her Governor Sarah) lead in banning the term “Latinx” from government documents.

https://www.foxla.com/news/hispanic-lawmakers-push-to-remove-latinx-from-government-documents-in-connecticut

They say the “gender-neutral” woke invention is offensive to them and was created by people outside of their culture. One lawmaker said, "The Spanish language, which is centuries old, defaults to Latino for everybody. It’s all-inclusive. They didn’t need to create a word, it already exists."

He’s right. But then again, I assumed that “manhole” was all-inclusive, since anyone of any gender can fall down one, but some busybody thought that had to be changed, too. In Berkeley, it’s now a “maintenance hole.” Then again, you could say the entire San Francisco area has turned into a maintenance hole thanks to people like that.

Even Prouder

I often say that I couldn’t be prouder of my daughter Sarah. But honestly, this might just make me a little bit prouder.

https://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2023/02/02/sarah-huckabee-sanders-gives-books-about-loving-america-to-students-and-lefty-mouth-breathers-cant-deal/

What could possibly go wrong California?

California can’t even keep electricity flowing 24/7 to the Los Angeles Airport, but sure, let’s force everyone to buy an electric car. What could possibly go wrong?

https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2023/02/01/los-angeles-international-airport-loses-power-for-an-hour-showing-the-limits-of-an-all-electric-future-n697429

Note that the airport was able to keep essential safety services up and running, thanks to having gas-powered backup generators. If you live in California, you might want to buy one of those. Or better yet, spend the money at U-Haul.

Google's bias revealed

By Mike Huckabee

We’ve covered all the releases of the Twitter files in depth, but there’s also been a big expose of internal documents from Google that show how it also used algorithms and blacklists to censor conservators, manipulate search results and skew elections toward Democrats. It’s no surprise, but it’s nice to see it confirmed in their own words.

We’ll probably have more on this, but for now, Twitchy.com has a good round-up of some of the more eye-opening finds.

https://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2023/01/31/whoa-googleleaks-tells-twitterfiles-to-hold-its-beer-with-bombshell-filled-thread/

A Do-Over in Houston

Arizona isn’t the only place where the 2022 elections were so botched (whether accidentally or otherwise) that they could result in a forced do-over.

https://www.westernjournal.com/investigators-find-election-ballot-paper-shortage-far-bigger-estimated-may-necessitate-new-elections/

A ballot paper shortage in Harris County, Texas (Houston), caused some voters to be turned away. Now, it appears that the shortage was worse than first reported and might have been widespread enough to have affected the results of some races. Gov. Greg Abbott tweeted, “It may necessitate new elections. It WILL necessitate new LAWS that prevent Harris Co. from ever doing this again.”

I know many people outside Texas think of it alongside Florida as one of the two biggest examples of a well-run, successful red state. But as my writers Pat and Laura (who escaped Dallas to the suburbs) will tell you, it’s a red state in which most of the big cities have been taken over by Democrats, which accounts for Dallas ending up near the top of the latest crime stat lists and “Beto” O’Rourke actually coming within shouting distance of being elected Senator. Now, you can tell how deep blue Houston has become, if the elections are so badly run that they’re ordered to redo them.

Of course, the officials will probably blame that on a paper shortage, but complaining about supply shortages also leads us right back to the problems inherent in letting Democrats run things.

The Sudden Switch in Standards

I often write about the big switch in Washington that determines which way the left’s situational ethics are flowing at any given moment, and how it gets flipped back and forth, depending on who’s in power or whatever the prevailing situation is. Like how having classified documents in your home was a death penalty offense when Trump did it, then (Flip!) it was nothing once we discovered Biden did it.

Well, it appears that there are regional versions of the standards switch, and the one in Georgia has apparently just been flipped.

For the past few years, we heard that Georgia’s voter integrity laws were “Jim Crow 2.0.” The claims that they were racist and meant to suppress the black vote continued even as voting rates soared among all demographics and a survey found zero percent of black Georgia voters claimed to have had a poor experience voting. The “racist vote suppression” narrative was so strident, it caused the All-Star Game and various movie and TV shoots to leave Georgia, costing local businesses tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue.

But wait! It seems that Biden thinks it would be more advantageous for his reelection chances to move the early primary votes to the South. So (Flip the switch!), suddenly, Atlanta has gone from being too racist to host the All-Star Game to deserving of hosting the 2024 Democratic Convention!

https://www.nationalreview.com/the-morning-jolt/democrats-do-an-about-face-on-georgia/

But that sudden switch in standards might pose a problem for some of the fellow travelers of the Dem Convention. Atlanta is rightly filing domestic terrorism charges against Antifa radicals for engaging in threats, vandalism, arson and assaults on police, including shooting a police officer. Now, Democrats who thought it was fine to accuse Trump voters, pro-life activists and concerned parents of being domestic terrorists are suddenly opposed to that charge when it’s filed against actual domestic terrorists.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/chris-queen/2023/01/31/suddenly-domestic-terrorism-charges-are-a-problem-now-that-atlanta-is-using-them-against-antifa-n1666540

This is the problem with having ever-shifting standards. It’s really hard to make a pious public stand on the moral high ground when it’s constantly moving around beneath you.

Moral blindness

By Mike Huckabee

I wonder what it’s like to be so self-righteously woke that you would rather have people not be cured of blindness than to allow the guy who cured them to monetize videos of it so that he can use the money to cure more people of blindness.

https://redstate.com/brandon_morse/2023/02/01/youtuber-cures-1000-peoples-blindness-but-outrage-brigades-wont-be-stopped-n697205

I wonder if he could cure these people of their moral blindness?

“College professor”

From Our “Not This (BLEEP!) Again!” Desk: Someone made a “documentary” once again rehashing the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Surprisingly, even the liberal shills in Hollywood realized how bereft of evidence it was, and the creators are having a hard time finding anyone to distribute it. Sounds like it would’ve been perfect for CNN-Plus.

At this link, Mark Judge, who was caught up in that dubious attempt to blindside Kavanaugh’s confirmation, gives us an inside peek at the tactics that leftists used to try to intimidate people into confirming accusations that they knew weren’t true. He also explains how the “documentary” makers were blindsided themselves because they didn’t know he was going to bring out a book that would debunk the story they were peddling.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-america/fairness-justice/the-hollywood-stasi-and-their-botched-anti-kavanaugh-film

Even if this documentary doesn’t get a release now, I’m sure it will eventually pop up somewhere. One of the ironclad rules of fake leftist narratives is that no matter how thoroughly they’re debunked, they never go away for good. They just go into hiding for a while until the public’s memory gets hazy, then they’re trotted out again.

FBI Search of Beach House is Laughable PR Stunt

Starting at 8:30 yesterday morning, FBI agents searched a third Biden location, President Biden’s vacation house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, purportedly to look for more classified documents.  I say “purportedly” because they said they didn’t find documents with classified markings but, when they left around noon, did take some other documents.

Biden attorney Bob Bauer said, “Consistent with the process in Wilmington, the DOJ took for further review some materials and handwritten notes that appear to relate to his time as Vice President.”

That’s an interesting statement, considering that, yes, at Biden’s primary residence in Wilmington, they also removed notebooks filled with handwritten notes.  The concern we raised then was that if Biden or anyone else had hand-copied classified material into notebooks, or had otherwise written about classified matters, the notebooks also would be considered classified.  Also, Bauer did not specify in that statement whose handwriting it is, and as far as we know, no one has.  Do they know?  Have you heard any of his lawyers or spokespeople say the notebooks were “in the President’s handwriting”?  (If you have, then never mind!)

If this is Biden’s handwriting, he has little room to maintain that he was “surprised,” as he has claimed, to have classified material at his home.  On the other hand, if even some of it were, hypothetically, Hunter’s handwriting, this would open up a whole new shocking area of concern.  Any time these top-level attorneys conveniently don’t mention something or consistently use a particular wording, assume there’s a reason.

Another example:  In the DAILY MAIL, it says “Biden’s attorneys previously said that there are no classified documents at his beach house, having searched it themselves.”  There “ARE,” or there “WERE”?  This is a bit reminiscent of Bill Clinton’s comment under oath that it depends on what the meaning of “is” is.  At the same time, the attorneys admit they previously “searched it themselves.”  This is just preposterous.

Once again, Biden and White House attorneys are exhausting the phrase “fully cooperative.”  And that’s true --- they were so “cooperative” with this “planned” search that Biden himself even paid a couple of weekend visits to the beach house in advance to get it all ready for them before their search.  Wasn’t that thoughtful?

https://www.foxnews.com/media/biden-feds-torched-beach-home-search-fbi-suspect-spend-weekend-crime-scene

Typically, Biden goes to his beach house in the warm summer months, but he was so interested in being a good host to the FBI that he went out there on the weekend of January 20, even with a forecast that called for chilly, wet conditions and a high in the mid-40s.  He’d make a visit the previous weekend as well, on January 13, the day after Merrick Garland had appointed Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the handling of his classified material.

So by the time FBI agents got to the house, Biden had had plenty of time to make it guest-ready, with delicious snacks in the kitchen and cute little sea-shell guest towels in all the bathrooms.  The house was freshly dusted so their kid gloves wouldn’t get dirty.

https://nypost.com/2023/01/20/biden-heads-for-rehoboth-beach-not-wilmington-home-where-secret-docs-found/

A White House spokesperson, when asked if other properties connected to the President had been searched, declined comment.  This appears to have been a staged event, with the take-away headline being that no classified documents were found.  Sure enough, do a search on stories about this, and that’s what you’ll see, in story after story.  Mission accomplished!

This search comes THREE MONTHS after classified documents were first located by Biden’s high-priced attorneys, who apparently moonlight for a moving and storage company and were helping him move boxes out of his office at the Penn Biden Center.  Biden had surely meant to make that discovery public right away, but you know how things tend to slip his mind, so it wasn’t mentioned until well after the midterm election.  Oops!

When asked why it took the FBI so long to search the beach house, a White House spokesman said it had been “coordinated.”  Legal professor Jonathan Turley quipped, “If this is how the FBI moves with dispatch, it is chilling to think of the schedule for lower-priority matters.”  Turley wonders, too, why they apparently made no move to address the trove of documents hidden away at the University of Delaware, a mere 80 miles away.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/doj-bidens-delaware-beach-home-ignore-treasure-trove-documents-road?yptr=yahoo

“The Bidens have successfully converted the university into a type of political safe deposit box,” Turley said, “barring media from reviewing documents going back to Biden’s time in Congress.”  They’ve clamped the lid on tight, using public funds to resist efforts by media to look at documents linked to sexual harassment allegations and other issues.  For over a decade, the university has claimed to still be “organizing” the material.  I’m sure that completing this task is their New Year’s resolution every year.

The White House’s messaging, as lame as it might seem to you and me, has been effective so far, with one FOX NEWS poll taken January 27-30 finding that 51 percent of respondents thought Trump’s handling of classified documents was “illegal” but only 37 percent though Biden’s was.  (Pence was at 22 percent.)  Our guess is that they believe Biden is being “fully cooperative,” while Trump was “combative” and “hoarding documents.”

But that’s just one aspect of the documents brouhaha.  This scandal, as it affects the President, is going to come down to WHAT was in the documents in his possession and WHY he had them.  And that’s where we come to some new, potentially incriminating information about what Hunter was up to and why he might have needed access to his father’s classified materials.  Fortunately, the House Oversight Committee starts hearings on this next week.

As you know if you read yesterday’s newsletter, Hunter’s emails show he was angling to sell aluminum company Alcoa Inc. information about Ukrainian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.  The nature and wording of Hunter’s “merchandise” made it look like something straight from the State Department.  We also connected a few dots to some very bad folks in Ukraine with ties to the mafia and the Sinaloa drug cartel.

What we’re learning now hearkens back to some stories that came out a few years ago, which we can see today in a context even those reporters didn’t have at the time.  Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy is siccing his secret police on oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who, ironically, financed his rise to power.  Kolomoisky has been stripped of possessions and citizenship.  This happens to be the man who owned Burisma while Hunter was paid $50,000 a month (reports say up to $83,000) to be on its board.  Just look at what is going on over there.

https://dossier.substack.com/p/zelenskys-great-purge-continues-launching

https://thepostmillennial.com/burisma-connected-oligarch-who-funded-zelenskys-campaign-acting-career-raided-by-ukrainian-security-forces

Now let’s get in the Way-Back Machine and go to 2021, when Hunter’s relationship with Kolomoisky was examined in the DAILY SIGNAL.  This is important reading; it shows that Kolomoisky was paying Hunter from his own bank, PrivatBank.  It appears from this story that PrivatBank had a controlling interest in Burisma; the bank was nationalized in 2016.  Payments from PrivatBank are likely among the flagged-as-suspicious bank records that the DOJ is refusing to let congressional investigators see.

There could be much more; court filings from Hunter’s 2019 paternity case in Arkansas specify that bank records “provide the source and destination bank account numbers of Burisma Holdings Ltd., PrivatBank, Bank of China, [Hunter Biden’s] business partners, Rosemont Seneca Bohai,” and others.  So if the DOJ won’t let them see this information, maybe some of it is open-source.

……….

RELATED NEWS:  Breaking late Wednesday night, Kevin Morris, the wealthy entertainment lawyer who’s been described as Hunter’s “sugar brother” for paying his $20,000/month rent and delinquent $2 million IRS bill, is reportedly building a legal war chest, and Abbe Lowell, Hunter’s attorney, has just sent aggressive letters on Hunter’s behalf to the DOJ and attorney general of Delaware, telling them to open a criminal inquiry into the handling of Hunter’s laptop data by John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer store owner who legally took possession of the laptop and gave it to the FBI after it had been abandoned by Hunter.  He says Mac Isaac “unlawfully accessed Hunter’s personal data and shared it with third parties” without Hunter’s consent.

Lowell wants the same treatment for several others, including Rudy Giuliani, who gave a copy of the hard drive to Miranda Devine at the NEW YORK POST.  He’s also threatening to sue news organizations who’ve been reporting on Hunter.  In a separate letter, he asked that FOX NEWS host Tucker Carlson apologize and issue a retraction for what he says is false and defamatory.  Tucker repeatedly has said that Hunter had access to classified documents at his father’s home.  Weeeell...let’s see:  Hunter lived at the home, as documented on forms Hunter filled out...he had access to the garage, as shown in photographs...and the garage had classified documents in it, as determined by the FBI.  And the problem with reporting that would be…?

“I think with Congress starting investigations next week, it’s a scare tactic,” Mac Isaac told the POST.  “The flak is heaviest when you’re over the target.”

Until now, Hunter has claimed he didn’t even know if the laptop was his.  (Um, didn’t he say the same thing about his daughter?)  Now he admits it was.  Also, does anyone NOT see a problem with President Biden’s DOJ investigating people with whom his son has legal issues?

Hunter Biden finally admits infamous laptop is his as he pleads for criminal probe

While I do agree with the First Baptist Church in Florida making a written down statement on marriage, I do whole heartily disagree with having there members sign a statement our be removed from the church rolls. That sounds like something catholic or Amish would do

Please tell me the military is incapable of deflating the ballon safely to earth without destroying anything. Just bring the balloon down and examine the cargo just like Obama Biden is just as cowardly in regards to keeping Americans airspace our land and ports safe this administration is incapable of governing this country just like the msm capable of presenting the truth

Omar is a discussing Rep. for any organization she represents Minneapolis a city I will not put a foot in or spend a dime. Keith Ellison is at AG in Minnesota Waltz is the Governor that should say something about what Minnesota has to offer. The elections of low life meaning people with malice and destructive behavior comes out of the heavy populated cities of Minnesota Minneapolis part of the Twin Cities a stain on the state although the surrounding suburbs are not very good either. Poor education has entered the suburbs a tremendous amount of disfunction occurs in these schools. Most people look at Minneapolis as the center of civil unres. Personally I liked the city years ago today it is dangerous I find the moral character of the city as a low standard of living. I used to eat in the city's restaurants as I found great ethic restaurants worthy of a 22 mile travel route just to eat there no longer I doubt if the restaurants even exist today nor do I care some have opened closer to me away from the city. I now eat in rural settings that take me 20 miles away so much more so much better in every sense. Bye bye Minneapolis I do not miss you although Minor League Baseball have replaced the Twins for me better Hotdogs better fans better environment although Target Field is still beautiful your city is an ugly mess the same goes for your elected city and state officials most of them very UGLY in all ways possible.
