Tonight, President Biden will address the nation from the Oval Office, marking his first public appearance in well over a week, since he “got COVID,” then dropped out of the race and endorsed Kamala Harris.

In a statement posted on his X (Twitter) account, Biden said he will address the nation “on what lies ahead, and how I will finish the job for the American people." So obviously, he has no intention of resigning, meaning that he’s unfit to run for reelection but plans to remain at the steering wheel for another four months. I’m sure America’s enemies are thrilled to hear it. Isn’t this what the 25^th Amendment is for?

Fellow Democrats are probably also thrilled, since they’d like to get Biden out of the picture completely so that they can brainwash voters into thinking Kamala Harris is competent and run her as the incumbent. But apparently, even Joe is still mentally sharp enough not to trust her to be in charge for four months, even as he’s telling us she should be put in charge for four years. Logical consistency is not a hallmark of the modern Democratic Party.

Knowing that like all of Biden’s recent speeches, this won’t be a legitimate news event but a free campaign commercial full of lies about Trump, the Trump campaign is demanding equal time from the networks. Good luck. If they were following equal time rules, they’d have to turn over CNN and MSNBC to the Trump campaign 24/7 from now until Election Day.

Incidentally, I don’t like trafficking in unconfirmed conspiracy theories, but I should at least make you aware that some people will be watching Biden’s speech for a very different reason. They’ll be looking for any signs of a neurological event like a transient ischemic attack, such as drooping on one side of the face.

Again, I am not saying there’s any credence to this, but it’s spreading online and might be worth looking into, even if just to debunk it. Personally, I'd think that if Biden did have a sudden medical emergency like a mini-stroke, the Democrats wouldn’t want to cover it up. It would give them the perfect excuse to remove him from the race without having to admit that they’d known about his ongoing mental deterioration for years and lied to us all about it. Of course, that would require the Democratic Party to cynically exploit a medical emergency for political purposes, and Heavens, that would be unthinkable!
