If you are wondering how to vote in this 2024 presidential election, the following information should end your dilemma. You may be trying to discern which candidate is the best choice to receive your vote. You may even try to analyze each candidate in detail, but this is a waste of time. The election comes down to Team Blue (Democrats) and the Team Red Team (Republican). One of these teams will win the White House and, in conjunction with Congress, seek to enact policies that will affect our lives.

I am not concerned about the individual candidates running for president. I don’t care what they said 20 years ago, I don’t care about their families, I don’t care where they went to college, what gender they are, their age or what kind of food they like. What I do care about is the policies their team will enact and how those policies will affect my life.

This election is unique in that both teams had their chance in the last eight years to reveal what their policies are. Team Blue is in power now and its policies of increased government spending and decreased domestic energy production has caused high inflation, a major negative to my wallet when I buy groceries and gas. The Blue policy of an open border allowing millions of illegals to enter the country has jeopardized national security, caused a high increase in drug overdose deaths and contributed to more violent crime. If you like living in a country where you pay exuberant prices for food and fuel, while walking the streets in fear of being a victim of crime then vote for Team Blue, because it will continue these present policies and likely ratchet them up.

If you want to see gas prices drop substantially due to the country being energy self-sufficient and pay less at the grocery checkout because inflation is under control as illegal immigrants are denied benefits at taxpayer expense and deported, then vote Team Red. We have clear examples of what these two teams will do if they win the election because we have seen both of them perform. History is a good indicator of future actions.

Sixty-five percent of Americans say the country is on the wrong track. The team that put the nation on the wrong track wears blue jerseys and has a donkey as a mascot. You don’t put the country on the right track by keeping the team in charge that put it on the wrong track.

The two teams have captains (candidates) that the mainstream media focuses on with stories that often border on ridiculous detail. This election is not about the candidates’ personalities or what they laugh about. It is totally about the policies their teams will execute when in power. That is what will touch our lives. Don’t buy the sizzle without checking the quality of the meat.

If in the next four years you want to be blue, then vote Blue. If instead you want to get ahead, then vote Red. None of these candidates will come to live in your house but their policies will. There is no welcome mat at my house for Team Blue policies.
