MORNING NEWS BRIEFS

2. Bombshell leak if true:

Project Veritas has released what may be a bombshell leak of military documents from a top secret shared drive, allegedly proving that COVID-19 was created in the Wuhan lab via a gain-of-function research effort called Project Defuse that was rejected by DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), but then funded by the NIH; and that Dr. Fauci lied to Congress about that. According to this report, the virus escaped the lab in August, 2019.

https://www.projectveritas.com/news/military-documents-about-gain-of-function-contradict-fauci-testimony-under/

Redstate.com has more, including screen captures of the alleged leaked documents.

https://redstate.com/jenvanlaar/2022/01/11/new-us-military-report-states-covid-19-was-created-by-a-us-funded-ecohealth-alliance-program-at-wuhan-institute-of-virology-n504679

The report also goes into how COVID works, why the vaccines aren’t working as well as hoped, and government efforts to cover this up. It also claims that the government identified ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and interferon as effective treatments in April and May of 2020, but pharmacies are still not filling prescriptions for them even as patients are dying.

If true, this report should have massive repercussions, so it’s important to verify it. Project Veritas identifies the author as Marine Corps Maj. Joseph Murphy, then-Commandant Marine Corps Fellow at DARPA. There are too many details to recount here, so I suggest you click on the link, and follow the other links within it for more.

For his part, Maj. Murphy issued this cryptic statement:

“I offer no comment on the investigation or internal Marine Corps deliberations. I offer a brief comment to those that desire answers and to those that withhold them.

To those seeking answers, I offer encouragement. There are good people striving for the truth working together in and out of government, and they succeed.

To those that withhold, I pray for you. Find the moral courage to come forward. Don’t let a lie be our legacy to posterity. People will forgive. A commitment to truth is in the heart of this nation.

Semper Fi.”

If this is a hoax, it’s certainly a deeply-detailed one. If Congress were in the hands of responsible people, this would spark an immediate investigation and demands to see any related documents that might verify or debunk the report. Until such time, we can only hope that Project Veritas has more coming out.

Hmm…I wonder if this has anything to do with PV founder James O’Keefe having his home raided by the feds and his devices seized? That’s just speculation, but it’s getting hard not to speculate these days.

3. New Airlines Investigation:

American Airlines is investigating a pilot after a liberal passenger snapped a photo of his bag that had a “Let’s Go, Brandon” sticker on the buckle and tweeted a complaint on Twitter.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/madelineleesman/2022/01/10/american-airlines-pilot-under-investigation-over-lets-go-brandon-luggage-tag-n2601637

Reminder: American is also the airline that allowed employees to wear BLM pins but banned them from wearing anything that showed support for the police. It appears that American Airlines thinks that freedom of speech runs in only one direction: to the left. Maybe it’s time they considered changing their name.

4. More bad polling news for Democrats:

A new A.P./NORC poll asked Americans to name their top five concerns that they want the government to address. The #1 concern, mentioned by 68% of respondents, was the economy. Another 24% mentioned household finances/the cost of living, up from 12% last year. Inflation as a concern leapt from less than 1% last year to 14%.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2022/01/11/apnorc-poll-economycovid-n2601682

And concern about the only issue where the Democrats had a strong advantage, handling the pandemic, dropped from 53% to 37%. Although the way they’ve been handling it since they’ve actually been in charge of it, you’d think they would want Americans to stop paying attention to that issue.

5. Biden is set to give a voting rights speech in Georgia today:

President Biden is set to make a speech today in Georgia on voting rights, and apparently, his current approval levels are so toxic that even Stacey Abrams found something better to do than show up and stand next to him.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/washington-pans-biden-message-on-inflation

This is surprising, since claiming that laws that ensure elections are secure and trustworthy are evil is definitely her thing. And that’s the take that Biden is pushing: the idea that voter integrity laws are racist, fascist attempts at voter suppression, and never mind that polls show vast majorities of all ethnic groups support basic election integrity laws such as voter ID.

(Incidentally, if Biden cares so much about loosening voter laws, why is he in Georgia? It’s easier to vote in Georgia than in his home state of Delaware, so why not go there?)

Biden is pushing hard to get Congress to pass what I like to call the “Legalize Vote Fraud Act,” because that’s a much more honest title for it. It would unconstitutionally federalize election laws that are supposed to be set by the states, and allow the Democrats to permanently enshrine practices such as banning voter ID requirements and legalizing ballot harvesting that they think would cement them into power forever. They claim this is to protect “democracy,” which would be hilarious if it weren’t such a serious threat. They’re trying to take away the power of states to run their own elections, and circumvent the obvious shellacking they’re about to get at the polls, while claiming they’re doing it to “protect democracy.” It’s like a bank robber claiming he’s emptying the vault to keep thieves from taking your money.

Remember, this is the same party that’s opened the borders while pushing to let non-citizens vote, and yet claims this is not part of a plan to change the population so they get elected. It’s also the same party that claims that Joe Biden got an unprecedented 82 million votes for President legitimately, and then claims the Democrat vote is being suppressed. And now they’re trying to convince us that keeping elections honest is the equivalent of violent insurrection.

https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/01/09/pelosi-pulls-jan-6-card-on-voting-but-clyburn-and-her-own-actions-reveal-the-truth-n504053

Fortunately, for all the hype and hot air this issue is getting, I can’t see Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema going along with this assault on election integrity laws, or with changing the filibuster rules, so this legislation is likely going nowhere.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/senate-democrats-voting-rights-filibuster-schumer-manchin-sinema

The real function for which it’s obviously intended is distraction: to rile up the Party’s base over a phony issue and get them furious enough at the evil Republicans to turn off their brains, forget all the real problems we’re facing, and vote Democrat one more time, only afterwards to realize how they’ve been had again.

Will it work? They have to hope so because they have zero successes to run on otherwise. But I question whether even their most loyal voters are gullible enough to take yet another running kick at that football like Charlie Brown and end up on their backs one more time.

6. He IS Science:

The Washington Free Beacon reports that the NIH division headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci gave a $205,562 taxpayer money grant to study why transgender women have high rates of HIV. As part of that, the researchers gave feminizing hormones to male monkeys to see how it impacted their immune systems. A neuroscientist who works with PETA said monkeys can’t contract HIV and called it “yet another pointless, wasteful monkey torture experiment.”

https://legalinsurrection.com/2022/01/faucis-nih-division-spent-205k-of-taxpayer-money-in-one-month-to-study-transgender-monkeys/

In a subscriber-only article at PJ Media, Matt Margolis makes the point that this undermines the entire trans activist line that being “transgender” is about self-identity, not hormone treatments. So there’s no such thing as “transgender monkeys.”

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2022/01/10/faucis-transgender-monkey-experiment-undermines-leftist-gender-theory-n1548345

On the bright side, at least the alleged transgender monkeys funded by Dr. Fauci didn’t invent any deadly new viruses

7. Bob Sagat Update

The Orange County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department has released some more details about the circumstances surrounding the death of comedian Bob Sagat at 65.

https://www.westernjournal.com/sheriffs-office-releases-preliminary-report-bob-sagets-death/

But coroners say it could take weeks to determine the cause of death. In that news vacuum, rumors are swirling that he might have had a heart attack caused by a COVID vaccine booster shot. Again, we still don’t even know what caused his death or if he had any underlying health issues, so there is certainly no evidence that it was vaccine-related. I know it’s tempting for many to jump to conclusions, but let’s hold off on assessing blame, at least until we know what he actually died of.

8. Top News: Nancy Pelosi: savior of democracy, stock market wiz, style icon:

Yesterday, we discussed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s big publicity push to pass the unconstitutional election “reform” legislation we like to call the “Legalize Voter Fraud” bill. Pelosi is exploiting the tragic events of January 6 to justify saving "our democracy,” when in reality it was the thousands of participants at the rally who were concerned that “our democracy” was going down the drain –- I mean, “our drain.”

But there's more to talk about today regarding Nancy Pelosi.

It has nothing directly to do with January 6 or the push for election legislation, but it certainly does relate to Madame Speaker’s approach to her job. According to a story in the New York Post, Pelosi has made up to $30 million on what for most of us might be classed as insider stock trades. These were largely made on the Big Tech corporations she oversees in Congress.

https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/nancy-pelosi-big-tech-stocks/2022/01/08/id/1051563/?ns_mail_uid=f9499f75-6002-4e3d-a92a-60873ae4921d

It’s hard to know how much money Pelosi has made on her trades, as income disclosures require her only to report within a ridiculously broad range. But during her time in “public service” --- she's spent her whole life in Democrat politics --- she has amassed somewhere between $40 million and $252 million. (Pelosi’s annual salary as House Speaker is $223,500.) When asked about this, Pelosi gave an answer worthy of Marie Antoinette.

She said that members of Congress should not be prevented from trading stocks while serving in office. “We have a free-market economy; they [legislators] should be able to participate in that.” Okay, we like the free market in general –- all of a sudden, when it’s to her benefit, she’s talking like a Republican –- but in recent months, Pelosi and her family have been putting their money on on such companies as Google, Salesforce, Micron Technology and Roblox, all the while helping Big Tech by slow-walking congressional efforts to rein it in. From 2007 to 2020, she and husband Paul Pelosi brought in somewhere between $5.6 million and 30.4 million from these five firms: Facebook, Amazon, Google, Apple and Microsoft. In 2020, she and Paul, who heads the firm Financial Leasing Services, beat the S&P index by an incredible 14.3 percent. What are the odds?

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/apr/14/paul-pelosis-shrewd-investments-raise-suspicions/

Pelosi said there's no conflict of interest for a member of Congress doing this, even if that member has insider information on new legislation or rules that could impact a company’s performance and stock price.

That statement is so staggering, it’s hard even to know what to say. Just read it again and think about it for a moment.

Walter Shaub, former director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (an oxymoron, but still), did have the right words, and he’s the one who came up the "let them eat cake" reference. “Sure, it’s a free-market economy,” he said. “But your average schmuck doesn’t get confidential briefings from government experts chock full of nonpublic information directly related to the price of stocks.”

Oh, but Nancy herself has none of these stocks in her OWN name. That's how she gets around earnings limitations for members of Congress. As her spokesman explains, “these transactions are marked ‘SP’ for Spouse. The Speaker has no prior knowledge or subsequent involvement in any transactions.” (Hey, prove him wrong!) But Shaub calls this “a red herring,” saying that unless members of Congress are willing to wear microphones around the clock, the public has no way of knowing what information they have shared.

One thing we know about Pelosi: the only people she thinks should have to wear microphones around the clock are the ones who talk to President Trump.

According to Nick Koutsobinas at Newsmax, there’s a huge difference between Pelosi's public statements about limiting the power of Big Tech and what she says behind the scenes.

The NY Post has a scathing editorial about Pelosi’s stock trading. They suggest that all stocks owned by sitting members of Congress be held in a mutual fund or blind trust. You can bet Nancy will be fighting tooth-and-manicured-nail (though not necessarily publicly) against that.

We already knew Pelosi has the typical leftist attitude of “my rules for you, no rules for me.” She can maintain the GOP is the party of the privileged while standing in front of a $24,000 double Sub-Zero refrigerator and displaying to her admiring public the cache of expensive gourmet ice cream that’s helping her get through the pandemic, while the drug-addled homeless camp on nearby streets. And she can have a closet full of beautifully designed masks to complete every outfit --- never mind that those colorful cloth contraptions apparently do nothing to stop the spread.

ELLE magazine wrote glowingly about Pelosi’s wardrobe of masks back in May of 2020, criticizing then-President Trump for not wearing a mask in public while praising Pelosi for “using facial coverings as a tool for personal and political expression.” Good grief; you just have to read this to believe it.

https://www.elle.com/culture/career-politics/a32631070/nancy-pelosi-mask-matching/

We have to congratulate the fashion writers at ELLE for getting something right. Masks are, first and foremost, A TOOL FOR PERSONAL AND POLITICAL EXPRESSION. For coordinating her masks to her clothes every day, Pelosi was dubbed a “style icon” on Instagram. “Even Hillary Clinton,” the ELLE article reads, “bequeathed her title of Pantsuit Queen to Pelosi in an Instagram post, as ‘leader of the House majority, and of mask-to-pantsuit color coordination.’”

“Never before has a piece of fabric this tiny taken on such importance in politics,” the article says. “But now that masks are the message of the pandemic, Pelosi’s sartorial selects have become a statement of purpose.”

Note that Pelosi’s masks, when she wears them, are those heavy cloth structures that tend to fall down under the nose and have to be constantly repositioned. We’ve said from the beginning that COVID masks were more of a fashion and political statement than anything else --- well, aside from being a sort of talisman, offering a false sense of security --- but this is the first time we’ve seen them described literally as such, and approvingly so.

Of course, Nancy flouts the mask rules in private whenever it suits her, just as she manages to profit wildly by investing in corporations she regulates. She would have gone after any member of the Trump family who appeared to be profiting from insider trading –- in less than a heartbeat. Recall all the histrionics about the “emoluments clause” and even the slightest possibility that Trump and/or his family might profit from his position. (Right now, I won’t even get into how much the Biden family might have profited while patriarch Joe was senator and, later, Vice President. That’s a story for another time.) We’d imagine that Trump had to put a great deal of business on hold to become President --- I sure did, just to run --- and also has had to spend a king’s ransom on attorneys. Even so, he never kept his government salary, donating it to charity every year.

We don’t have any “insider” information on this, but have a hunch Nancy pocketed hers.

Re: "Let's Go Brandon" stickers on pilot's luggage-- if the airlines want to ground all pilots who express their conservative beliefs they won't have anyone to fly the planes. There's already a shortage of pilots, this would even make it worse. We have many friends who are retired airline pilots, many from American Airlines. There's not a liberal in the bunch.

Ah but there is an old truism : When your enemies and opponents are shooting themselves in the foot why stop them?

As one who had COVID "vaccinations", took Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, then had to go to the hospital for 5 weeks with COVID, I can tell you that none of those prevent you from getting very sick with the Wuhan Virus. Admittedly, they can help some but I can attest to a fact that none/all of them do not help some.

I'll tell you, Speaker Pelosi, with her obvious corruption along with her promotion of the murder of innocent pre-born babies, gets under my skin so much that I find I have to pray for her (under the heading of praying for my enemies). Otherwise, she would send my blood pressure skyrocketing. I try to pray regularly for this country because, unless the Lord intervenes, I feel that it will collapse.

Let me start by saying thank you and your staff for the wonderful job each of you do to get the truth out. If the House Select Committee for Jan. 6 get what they want and if the Federal Voting Right Bill gets passed there would not be just some here or there that will be casualties it would be America herself would be the casualties! After reading about queen Pelosi about all can be said about her is she is a thief, cheat and a liar. About all you can say about Biden speech is I feel sorry for those who are blind sided that they believe every thing that he says, if he ever told the truth it would put him in the nut house. And finally I take it the AOC the queen of the Green New Deal must be trying to set a new Guinness world record by riding a bike to Florida from NY for vacation? HA HA HA

    RE: Bombshell leak if true:
Mike your article also reflects what the French Scientists and Doctors who worked at the Wuhan BSL-4 Lab were saying at the very start of the covid epidemic. And as here in America the French scientists who have the facts and direct knowledge have been pretty much silenced by "political theater". Quite apparent that we are not the only country with a political problem in this regard.
