In your poll, I chose de Santis. I’m afraid that if Trump were re-elected, the furor of the Left would be much worse than it was in his first term, rendering his presidency nothing but a circus, and Trump being able to accomplish nothing.
I think that the Left will also attack de Santis, but not with the seething hatred shown to Trump.

Gov DeSantis has already said he will not run for President in 2024. He is up for Re-election for Governor in November & saying he needs to run for President in 2024 can hurt his Governor Race!

The poll might have been a bit more objective if you had first asked for party affiliation.

Also you could/should have asked for a 1st choice, and then a 2nd choice.

    Simply striving for objectivity...

I voted for Mr. Trump and although he was not my original choice I felt he was the one America had to vote for. That God placed him in a position for such a time…But I can not vote for him again. Ron DeSantis is really the only choice Republicans have to rise up and try to lead this nation back to some kind of resemblance of a country the people can trust because as it stands now very few trust Biden and his corrupt party.

I always remember Trump telling the crowd, "I love being your President." And I mourn how much more he could have done for we-the-people had he not been sabotaged at every turn! I strongly believe he deserves to be returned to office, and deeply desire this for him. YET, I voted in the poll for DeSantis. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership, and would have much more power as the nation's Chief Executive than Trump could exercise in a second term. The greatest leadership Trump could exercise, and I think history would credit him, would be to put his movement behind DeSantis.

Very hard to believe when there are still millions of Trump supporters. DeSantis needs to stay in Florida where he is doing an outstanding job. We will support Trump all the way.

I would rather see DeSantis run as VP with President Trump and then run for President in 2028.

I think Trump as President and DeSantis as VP would make a good team, then if something happened to Trump to disable his service, DeSantis could step in. I suspect that most people voted for DeSantis in this poll because they are afraid with all the Jan 6 hokus pokus, Trump would not win, and we would be saddled with someone as bad or worse than Biden. I am praying dearly for this year's and 2024 elections; however, our country has ventured so far away from the Lord and is so divided, but we are living in the last days and everything is still in HIS hands. God Bless.
