National Guard Troops Used As Props

By Mike Huckabee

Having served their purpose as security/partisan media prop, thousands of National Guard troops in DC, who were already insulted by having their patriotism questioned and their political views investigated, were kicked out of the Capitol and told to go sleep on the ground in a parking garage with one electrical outlet and one bathroom for 5,000 troops. After a huge public outcry, including from Democrats such as Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, they were allowed to move back the next day.

Many are demanding to “get to the bottom of” who is responsible for this unconscionable treatment of our troops, but Matt Vespa at Townhall.com says the answer is obvious, but the media don’t want to report it.

With such disrespectful treatment, it’s no wonder Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is recalling Texas Guard troops immediately, after already threatening never to send them to DC again.

As one Guardsman put it, “Yesterday, dozens of Senators and Congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed.”

I’m sorry to say that I suspect that’s a feeling they’d better get used to. It’s also a feeling that this article in Redstate suggests may be hitting suburban Republicans who voted for Biden because they didn’t like Trump’s personality. They may quickly discover to their regret that good, pro-American policies are more important than mean tweets.

If Trump’s rhetoric was indeed the factor that cost him suburban votes, then it’s all the sadder that he didn’t heed the advice my writer Laura Ainsworth tried to give him way back in September. Reading this article again now, it’s almost scary how prescient it was.

Kicking Things Off Predictably

By Mike Huckabee

The Biden Administration kicked off its tenure in predictable style by changing the official White House website so that it simultaneously claims to stand for science and scientific facts, and also implies that basic biology doesn’t exist.

And that’s not the only assault on logic and clear and correct English that this Administration is undertaking…

As promised (or threatened), President Biden has issued a flurry of executive orders, undoing many of Trump’s policies, and apparently with zero regard for how they’re going to harm America, our allies, and American workers.

Canadian leaders, labor union heads and even many Democrats are furious over his axing of the Keystone Pipeline project, which immediately killed 11,000 union jobs and set the stage for rising fuel prices and re-empowering Russia and OPEC. His immigration “reforms” and cutting of funding for the border wall virtually insure a new massive wave of illegal immigration that will kill American jobs, depress wages and force Americans to pay higher taxes for all the social services they’ll be given. I’ve already written about him trying to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords and the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, which hopefully will be challenged by the Senate or in court, because they’re both clearly treaties that require two-thirds Senate ratification.

I know how angry many Republicans are at Sen. Mitch McConnell right now, but he did hit the nail on the head with his comments yesterday about how Biden is beginning his Administration by immediately hurling America off in the wrong direction, one that is destructive, dangerous, and that most Americans don’t want and didn’t vote for.

"Whataboutism Updates"

By Mike Huckabee

“Whataboutism” Updates: Say, remember when President Trump was denounced by politicians, the media and even some church leaders as a ruthless dictator because officers in DC used tear gas to clear rioters away from historic St. John’s Episcopal Church? They were called “peaceful protesters” who were gassed “without provocation,” even though they burned the church and spent four days attacking Park Service officers with baseball bats, metal poles and glass bottles.

Well, when Antifa rioters pulled the same kind of “peaceful” violence in Portland on Inauguration Day, guess what federal agents, now under the command of President Biden, used to bring them under control? If you guessed tear gas and pepper balls, go to the head of the class. Now, guess how much outrage there was in the media about it.

(“Crickets…”)

As I wrote just yesterday, the Antifa thugs think they’re invincible and ungovernable because Democrats let them run riot all year so they could blame their violence on Trump. Now, Trump is gone, Biden is in, and they’re a nuisance that’s outlived its usefulness. I predicted they will quickly learn that they are not “ungovernable,” they are expendable.

“Whataboutism” Part Two: Remember all those months of the media blasting any Republicans who inadvertently mispronounced Kamala Harris’ first name (it’s “Comma-la,” not “Ka-mah-la”) as racists? Well, during the swearing-in ceremony at the Inaugural, guess how Supreme Justice Sonya Sotomayor pronounced it?

Day 2 Antics

By Mike Huckabee

On only his second day as President, Joe Biden snapped at an AP reporter (“Come on, give me a break, man") who asked him a challenging question about how he could possibly keep his campaign promise to distribute 100 million vaccine doses by April. To be fair, it’s been an awfully long time since anyone asked him a challenging question.

Actually, it’s entirely possible that 100 million doses will be distributed by April, but I’m sure nobody in the press corps or the Biden White House would want to admit why. It’s because, as of yesterday, nearly 38 million doses had already been distributed, and 17.5 million have been administered.

That’s because while they were all trashing President Trump’s response to the virus, mocking him for saying a vaccine would be available by the end of 2020, and claiming he had no real response to the disease, he was setting up an unprecedented public-private partnership that created a vaccine in record speed and that was already distributing it well before Biden took office.

And that leads us to our “Fake News of the Day.”

With Biden yanking the US to the left with his flurry of executive orders, it’s nice to know that some things remain reliably unchanged. For instance, Trump may be gone, but CNN is still churning out fake negative stories about him. The latest involves the bogus claim that Trump had literally no COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan, which anyone should immediately spot as hooey, since (see above) 38 million doses had been distributed before Biden even took office (reminder: he and Kamala Harris already received them!)

It was sort of a milestone for CNN: an anti-Trump story so transparently false that even CNN’s own hosts admitted they didn’t believe it.

It's a disgrace how our great military was treated at the Capitol. Have they decided who gave the order for them to spend the night in a garage? I bet it was Pelosi! Since Biden has been over turning President Trump's Executive Orders, he's dividing this country more than before. More like he's destroying it. I've already seen our gas prices increase. We're in for a very, very rough ride. We stood it for 8 years under Obama, or should I say Obama's 3rd term. I hope we can hold on for at least the next 2 years, we have no choice, & may be the Republicans win in 2022!!

It is quite sad that the troops were mistreated. It is even sadder that anyone with opposing views to the far left are considered fascists. As a matter of fact, I was on dictionary.com this morning to look up the word fascist. The media and left wing elected officials (on twitter, no doubt), use it quite liberally when describing Trump supporters as wells as conservatives in general. I was SHOCKED to see that the website that lower elementary kids and older kidsuse, dictionary.com, have defined a fascist as someone with right leaning views, simply stated. With the age of paperless everything, and the rise of digital information that can warp into whatever someone desires in a matter of seconds, what are we to use as our kids are educated?

    Dear Governor Huckabee,

Faith-“The assent of the mind to the truth of a proposition or statement for which there is not complete evidence” – Century Dictionary
I know a little bit about faith. In February of 2004, I was involved in a very serious car accident that left me with severe Traumatic Brain Injury. I was in a coma for 2 weeks scoring a whopping 3 on the Glasgow Coma Scale of 3-15. I was diagnosed with Diffuse Axonal Injury. This was described to me as having a jar of marbles (my brain), shaking it violently and not knowing exactly how, when or even if they could be restored exactly as they were. 5 months were spent in hospitals and rehab centers before I was released to go home in a wheelchair.
I had been a stay-at-home mom caring for 4 children age 6-months to 11. I returned unable to do much of anything: take care of our children, home, finances, myself. I fell into a deep depression for two long years, feeling like a giant burden to my husband who was working himself to death. I blamed God for my hardships. Smiling on the outside while silently seething at being left like this. I was no good for anything anymore. Why had God done this to me?
My grandmother snapped me out of it with these simple words, “Everything happens for a reason. I believe in you, now you need to believe in yourself.” She kissed my forehead then left. I thought about her words and realized that I was the problem. I changed my thinking from “I can’t do that” to “I can do anything” I asked God for forgiveness for blaming Him then set out to change my future. I had 3 goals in mind: getting out of my wheelchair, losing a lot of weight from eating too much plus a sedentary lifestyle and walking again by myself.
I was able to pursue professional physical therapy for a second time around 2008. “Never Give Up” became my silent mantra as determination set in. I put in hours of hard work learning to walk with a walker, tie shoes and climb stairs among many other forgotten skills. The therapists were amazed by my results this late in the game. The common thought with TBI is significant improvement happens in the first year or two max. I was thrilled but not surprised. I had God by my side. They worked with me diligently for years until there was no more progress then I was released with a walker. One goal met; on to the next.
I have been overweight my whole life. Trying one diet after another. Losing pounds only to gain back more. I asked God for help. Soon after I read an article on intermittent fasting. I was intrigued and gave it a try. It was easy for me to do and I lost 1-3 lbs. per week. I added Keto/low carb thanks to my best friend’s suggestion. In one year I lost 70 lbs. and have kept it off despite limited mobility. Second goal met; on to the last.
I pray to God daily and had high hopes but knew I’d need a miracle to walk alone again. In 2020 my husband showed me a video of Arthur Boorman doing DDPYoga. Yes! God had given me the answer. I signed up for the Rebuild series. Diamond Dallas Paige taught me how to get a cardio workout while sitting in a chair using “dynamic resistance” (isometrics). My strength, flexibility and balance increased tremendously. After several months, I decided to try my ultimate goal. I sent a prayer up to heaven, asked my husband to video tape me then pushed my walker in front of me and walked by myself across the kitchen floor! It had been close to 17 years since I enjoyed that freedom and I have God to thank for my successes.
Which brings us to today. I believe God is sending us all a message: “I’m here. Remember me?” To all believers- strengthen your bond with Him. Talk to Him through prayer. To all non-believers join us. There’s always room for one more. God is listening! I’ve learned a hard lesson since 2004. God works on His timeline, not ours. I wake up happy every morning, looking forward to His next miracle.
Thank you Governor Huckabee for your undying faith and strong leadership. The whole world needs to turn back to God. God bless you, your beautiful family and your amazing audience!

boy, do I disagree with the woman that wanted Trump to say at the debate. To concentrate how much he is hated is rediculous. Biden is hated just as much, does she think he should start out that way. Trump is controversal, either he is hated or loved, saying what she said is not going to change anyones mind, or get their vote. It just makes him look like the ass kissers , kissing up for votes . Not his style, and I hope never will be. Makes him look weak, which he is not.The media is what has caused the Trump hate, not him. So some don't like his tweets, so what? you can never please all the people. I loved them, and miss them. At least you know where he stands, and is not talking out of two sides of his face, like Biden is.

Now that Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the residents of the Washington DC Bubble and surrounding communities have made fools of all the national guard personnel that where ordered to Washington to protect them against a non-existent attacks please remember this for future reference.

The next time you have a crisis in the area do not expect the National Guard
Cavalry under their governors control to come to your rescue.

Please contact your local active duty facilities and commands to provide what emergency service needed and if they cannot help you, well then like they say SO BAD SO SAD as the alligators commence to dine on the swamp creatures.

I hope your daughter is considering a run for governor.

The one thing I dread is the caravans coming from Central America, flooding our borders. Not only will there be a Covid problem, but also drug and sex trafficking, other diseases, and jobs taken away from American workers as well as Spanish/English education, and the burden of more taxes and healthcare. Plus we don't need more chain migration. What poor planning. With the ending of the pipeline, looks like Biden will be buying oil from Venezuela and Russia, when we are finally fuel independent, ending many jobs, and crushing our economy. We have a great 2021 to look forward to.

The DC politicians take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States! Yet they want to try and pull another shabby, unconstitutional "impeachment" of (now former) President Trump! Shouldn't they be impeached for "Abuse of Power"?

Can governors recall the DC politicians or do the people of their districts have to sign recall petitions for Representatives? Or can they be signed by the people of the respective states?

Sounds like this is a possible course of action for the American people to make their voices count! Start recalling, folks!

Kudos to Governor Abbot for standing up the TX National Guard! I am glad he took a stand! I hope more governors follow his lead.

Texas does hold the right to secede from the union! Don't mess with Texas! Wouldn't blame TX if they did, especially if the oil and gas industry is attacked by the radical left!

The military folks put their lives on the line to protect the people of this nation...and the world. To have them thrown out in the cold after such a "prestigious" event is downright abuse! GOD'S best blessings on the US troops!

Do the DIM politicians treat their own families and pets that way??? Just to think that those people have children and grandchildren! That's enough to make a stomach churn! Ugh!

It's a bit difficult to honor such parents! I am blessed not to belong to any of them! Whew!

    A few thoughts.
I realized recently that the fake news will push hate Trump the next 4 years as a smokescreen to hide the Marxist takeover and destruction of the nation
I wish more would be honest and call the new leaders Marxists and anarchists. Use a littke " rigorous" honestly as 12 steppers say.
Also I see no hope for unity as the two sides have a permanent divide on their definitions of God. Marxism is based on the Serpent's lie. Jesus stated that he comes to " steal, kill, and " destroy." That is what we have been seeing. Antifa are both Marxists and anarchists. They are lead by the god of war.
    Just my thoughts

Can you please use your connections to tell the US Senators they are making a mockery by doing this impeachment. Democrats pull out impeachment too often. They pull it out like it was a six gun and we are back in the Old West. Im so frustrated that we (Barr) had all this evidence to prosecute and nothing happened. And now first week Democrats in they are allowed to go forth with impeachment. Where are the men and women who will stand up and calmly say No this is not right ? Why do we just go along with their rhetoric? Are our families being threatened if we don't? Im so disgusted with all of Congress.

I just sent this letter to my Arizona state congressman and two senators. I hope others will write to their state people and stop the nonsense that's going on! :-(

American is the greatest country in the world. I learned that over 55 years ago when I went to Europe for the first time as a student. I also know for a fact that what happened in the last national election CANNOT happen again. There were states where extra votes for Biden appeared overnight. There was not proper supervision of the counting, and I also know that some 75,000,000 people voted for Trump. Our right to have our vote counted is paramount to the continuation of democracy; therefore, the following needs to be implemented. You are my voice in the Senate and I expect you to vote for and enforce these things NOW.

    1. Mandatory voter ID for ALL Federal elections. You must be an American to vote. You must register and you must have a signature on file that can be verified to a high degree of confidence, with witnesses from the major parties present to observe. If they are not in visual distance to verify the signature, you cannot count the vote.
    2. Absentee ballots must be requested and the request must be verified against the list of registered voters. When that absentee ballot is returned, it must again be verified against the voter rolls and to verify the signature.
    3. There will be NO unsolicited MAIL-IN BALLOTS. Meaning if you did not specifically request a ballot (except for the U.S. Military service abroad or if you are deemed infirm) In the case of being infirm you can have a representative request one absentee ballot and it must be appropriately signed.
    4. A mandatory purging of each locality’s voter lists, at least twice a year, in order to remove those who no longer reside in our state.
    5. A TOTAL ban on foreign-owned companies selling vote counting software to the US as well as, a ban on foreign-owned entities having custody of any ballot data.
    6. All vote counts must be actually observed by representatives from both parties in order to be counted as valid votes – close enough to verify that the ballot has not been altered!
    7. A Federal criminal violation for any foreign national who tries to vote in he USA
We all know that the Dominion Voting Machines and the other foreign one, can be hacked from the street by someone on a computer in his car. It’s been proved, and if you deny it, then you are uninformed.

And finally, this censorship by big tech has to STOP. You have allowed Twitter, Google, Amazon, Facebook and Instagram to censor any conservative opinion. That is against the First Amendment. But they leave up things by Iran’s leader, Sullivan who was arrested at the capital on Jan 6. And many others. If you, during this coming term, don’t correct these issues listed above, I promise – YOU WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED.

In response to your stating that it's too bad Trump didn't listen to the advice Laura tried to give him, in September, do I say that it's also too bad that he didn't listen to the advice Arthur Brooks tried to give him seven months prior TO September!

I know I have stated this ad nauseam...but I will KEEP stating it.....which is if Trump had TAKEN Arthur Brooks' advice.... that the only answer to uniting this country was Trump's need to answer hatred with love, he wouldn't have had to worry ABOUT those who disliked him BECAUSE he answered hatred with hatred, rather than WITH (Christ's UNCONDITIONAL) love!
