The Pentagon and the DNC, continued

On Tuesday, at the request of one of our readers, we expanded on the testimony given in June by Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in which he --- just like the DNC, coincidentally --- blamed the breach at the Capitol on January 6 on Trump supporters’ “white rage” and anti-constitutionalism.

Tuesday evening on TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT, Tucker included a segment on something we’d discussed in our commentary, the focused military indoctrination currently going on within the ranks. “Biden has gone much farther than any other President,” he said, “to politicize every federal agency, and that includes, terrifyingly, the military.”
The Defense Department has been ordered to direct its attention at American citizens, including our own military, as Biden’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin states outright that some of our enemies “lie within our own ranks.”
The contractor with whom the Defense Department is working to stamp out these domestic “white supremacist” enemies is called Moonshot CVE (“Countering Violent Extremism”), a contractor based out of London. The folks at Moonshot are the ones who have been looking into the online history of American soldiers to ferret out “extremist” views. So, what exactly are those extremist views?
Tucker reported what we had said, that they searched for phrases such “the truth about Black Lives Matter.” “If you wanted to know the truth about Black Lives Matter, you were, by definition, a white supremacist, and an enemy of the United States,” he observed.
You see, no one is even supposed to ASK about BLM. Yesterday, we dared suggest that it deserves the same scrutiny as any other organization, which, I suppose, makes us –- at least to Moonshot CVE and the new leaders of the U.S. military –- incorrigible, detestable, deplorable RACISTS.
“The outcome is contrived,” said Tucker’s guest, radio host Vince Coglianese. The only reason they’d include a question such as that would be to rig the outcome of a study, he said.
Moonshot CVE, he said, showed us what they’re about when they released a study in June about white supremacy in the United States, as determined by search trends. In that study, they happen to have included that same phrase, “the truth about Black Lives Matter.” This is something that anyone, of any skin color or political persuasion, might be searching for, for a variety of reasons.
In fact, my own researchers, given that they look high and low for information on just about any topic you could think of –- from any perspective that might possibly be weighing in –- would be very likely to search a phrase such as this. If they had, would that make them white supremacists?
No. Just no.
It would make them...inquisitive, curious, interested. Anybody looking at the varied online search history of my researchers would be mystified as to their personal political proclivities. But if Moonshot wanted to take some searched-for phrase out of context and tar them falsely with extremist beliefs, they certainly could. And so they could with our soldiers.
In fact, when one of us did a search on “white supremacy u.s. military,” this is the first article that came up. We include a link to it for illustrative purposes only; the article itself is a big steaming load of leftist propaganda about how the U.S. military is full of white nationalist extremists. It says that white supremacism in the military is “a problem that threatens both to compromise the integrity of the military and endanger the society it purports to defend.” Feel free to be as offended as we are by this statement, especially if you are in the military or have loved ones who are. If soldiers hate anything, it might be the attempt --- by those they are sworn to defend --- to paint them as racists and domestic terrorists.

This is far from the only article of this type, either, as we checked out articles in THE NEW YORK TIMES and VANITY FAIR. We’ll spare you --- you would thank us, believe me.

As Coglianese suggested on Tucker’s show, doing an online search for such a phrase might even mean you’re a member of Black Lives Matter yourself, trying to find out where on earth $90 million that was raised by the national organization disappeared to. Does that make you a white supremacist? No, it makes you fiscally responsible.
Maybe you’re just wondering about the ideological beliefs supporting BLM, after hearing one of its leaders speak of being a “trained Marxist" or others among its leadership express support not for the Cuban people but for the Communists trying to keep them in their place. In other words, it likely has nothing to do with race at all.
Coglianiese said he’s never seen anything like the current politicization of the military and says it’s “completely out of control.” Asking questions = extremism. Free inquiry = extremism. “It’s getting worse,” he said.
In order to further the left’s narrative about white supremacy in America, they have spread it worldwide, with the Biden administration, through Secretary of State Antony Blinken, even saying it wants the United Nations Human Rights Council to get involved in investigating our country’s “systemic racism.” In case you weren’t aware, some of the new members of the Human Rights Council are (get ready) China, Russia, Pakistan, Senegal, Malawi and Cote d’Ivoire (the Ivory Coast). Does this strike you as a little...infuriating? The fact that China and Russia are even ON the Human Rights Council makes no sense, let alone that they, to the delight of the left, are being put in the position of judging our country. And our current leaders actually want that.
Our country should be the bastion of freedom right now. We should be welcoming those who risk their lives to escape Cuba, as they would be political prisoners if they returned. We should have a well-functioning legal immigration system with rules that everyone understands and respects. We should be pressuring China to stop their blatant human rights violations, their enslavement and persecution of religious minorities. We should be known as the nation with a military that fights to preserve freedom for all, regardless of skin color (which is what they DO). In other words, we should be that shining city on a hill. And we could be, if only…

A reporter for the leftist media site The Intercept attended a “Stand Up for a Safe Oakland” rally in Oakland, California, where a violent crime wave that followed defunding the police has left 71 victims dead. The reporter observed that hundreds of black citizens showed up to support more police. As they were reading the names of the victims to honor them, a handful of mostly white Antifa jerks showed up and started jeering them and trying to drown them out.
The black crowd responded by accusing the Antifa types of displaying their white privilege, and telling them they had no right to be there when black children are dying in the streets every day. When one of the junior commies claimed the police were killing those kids, a black man fired back, “That’s a lie, that’s a lie!” He demanded, “What do you have against safety in Oakland? What do you have you against stopping the violence?” Then he ordered them to “get the (bleep) out!”

So what’s the telltale sign that the reporter lives in a liberal bubble? He described the black police supporters turning on the white leftist protesters as a “surreal moment.”
Really? What was surreal about it? That black people want safe neighborhoods and police protection from violent criminals who are killing their children? Or that not every black person is okay with obnoxious, white, junior commie undergrads acting as if they speak for black America, thinking their opinions are the only ones that matter and barging in where they’re not wanted to show disrespect for black people slain because of the idiotic policies that Antifa promotes? I assumed everyone knew those things.
Wait, I’ve got it: what’s surreal is having a “news media” that’s so invested in promoting phony leftist narratives that when obvious reality appears right before a reporter’s eyes, he can’t even comprehend it.

President Biden is backing away from his claim that “Facebook is killing people” by allowing “disinformation” about COVID and vaccines to be posted. He now says that bad information is coming from only about a dozen people.
Who are these people he really wants to silence? Not clear, but Stacey Lennox at PJ Media believes these are the likely suspects, taken from a report by a British liberal group called the “Center for Countering Digital Hate” (don’t you love the comic book hero names these groups give themselves?) To give you an idea of their nonpartisan altruism, it’s the same group that tried to get The Federalist demonetized:
Howard Kurtz took a deeper look at this story and believes it could spell trouble for Facebook.

He points out that founder Mark Zuckerberg has been at the center of controversy for allegedly silencing conservatives and tilting the platform to help elect Biden. So conservatives hate Facebook for being biased and violating their freedom of speech. Sen. Elizabeth Warren wants to break them up for being a monopoly. And now, Biden is accusing them of killing people because they aren’t censoring enough “disinformation,” even though they still have egg on their face from censoring that for-certain “disinformation” about the virus maybe coming from a Chinese lab instead of a wet market.
In short, what should have been a neutral platform took sides, and now, Facebook has enemies coming at them from all sides. They alienated conservatives, who tend to remain loyal to their friends and never forget their enemies; and they sided with the left, which eventually turns on its own. They chose…poorly. Let’s hope Twitter is next.

New Project Veritas Expose Involving Toy And Game Giant Hasbro

The latest Project Veritas expose involves the toy and game giant Hasbro. A packaging engineer who contracts with Hasbro blew the whistle on what he found to be disturbing “Critical Race Theory”-derived employee training.
David Johnson says that the internal training given to employees teaches that children as young as three to six months are already showing racial preferences, that toddlers as young as two use race to choose or exclude playmates, and that by age five, white children are showing pro-white bias. Funny, I would assume that five-year-olds were too busy deciding what gender they were going to be to spend much time becoming white supremacists.
Johnson, who is black himself, is a believer in the view of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that character is what matters, not skin color, which CRT rejects. He was so appalled at this imposition of adult racist stereotypes onto small children by a toy company that he felt he had to alert the public, a brave gesture for which he’s been suspended from his job. I suppose we should have figured out that wokeness was infecting Hasbro when it was announced that Mr. Potato Head would be renamed the “non-gendered” Potato Head. It’s bad enough that we have CRT proponents trying to indoctrinate our actual troops with this racist garbage, we don’t need it coming from the people who make G.I. Joes for our kids, too.
Let’s hope that a public backlash encourages the stockholders to replace whatever Potato Heads came up with this idea.

Ben & Jerry’s Dumb Decision

Speaking of business people who make dumb political decisions, the rich socialists who run Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream are famous for pushing far-left causes, but they may have finally pushed it too far by siding against Israel and declaring they will no longer sell their ice cream in “occupied Palestinian territory.”

The move was applauded by the anti-Semitic BDS (Israeli boycott) movement, but both the current and former Israeli prime ministers slammed Ben & Jerry’s, with Benjamin Netanyahu tweeting, “Now we Israelis know which ice cream NOT to buy.”
A reminder: last year, Ben & Jerry’s went all-in on endorsing the “Defund the Police” movement. I wonder how much of their ice cream has been stolen since then.
Also, since the company is now a subsidiary of the conglomerate Unilever, I wonder how their stockholders feel about them apparently spending more time thinking up ways to drive away customers than thinking up new ice cream flavors.
