The Kangaroo Court

This is my June 11th "Huckabee" show monologue.

June 17, 2022
|

Nancy Pelosi has been conducting a kangaroo-court sham hearing about the January 6 riots, and it’s so theatrical that her committee hired a former “Good Morning, America” TV producer to stage it so it would be good TV. But it’s been very bad government. And the person who ought to be most ashamed of herself isn’t even Pelosi. It’s a pretend Republican from Wyoming, Liz Cheney.

According to the rules of the committee, there was supposed to be bipartisan participation, with the Republicans appointed by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. The names he submitted were real Republicans who were determined to make sure the committee acted in good faith. Well, Nancy couldn’t have that, so she arbitrarily rejected the Republican appointees and appointed her own lapdog pet Republicans who would run to the feeding dish when she rang the bell. The only two she could find who would disgrace themselves by being her tightly leashed love-pups were Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who at least had the dignity of not running again for his Congressional seat after he’s made a fool of himself by selling out to the likes of AOC and the radical Squad.

But Liz Cheney has no dignity left. Her personal animosity toward Donald Trump has eclipsed every last ounce of integrity she might have ever possessed, and she joyfully joined the most partisan and vicious Trump-haters in DC to try and blame Donald Trump for a breakdown in security at the Capitol, despite the irrefutable fact that he urged Pelosi, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, and others to allow him to supply up to 20,000 troops for security that day. They all turned him down, and then they had the audacity to blame him for a rally that turned into the riot.

The reason I hold Liz Cheney in such contempt is because she is pretending to be such the law-and-order stickler. But every conservative I know has clearly spoken out against those who did damage to property at the Capitol, or who threatened or challenged a police officer that day. But what Liz Cheney has NOT done is to demand an accounting for the unjustified shooting of the only person who died in the Capitol building that day—an unarmed woman and Air Force veteran named Ashli Babbitt who was shot dead by a Capitol Hill police officer –- but about which the details of the investigation have never been made completely public.

Liz Cheney has not demanded an accounting for Ashli Babbitt’s death. Nor has she said a word about the disgusting and humiliating treatment of Peter Navarro, who was arrested as he boarded a plane last Friday to come to Nashville to be on my show. The FBI office is literally next door to his apartment—next door! He offered in writing and on the phone to voluntarily come in should they wish to talk to him. Instead, they followed him to the airport and waited until he was boarding the flight to Nashville, when they arrested him, handcuffed him, and hauled him away in unnecessary humiliation. They then put him in leg shackles and strip-searched the 72-year-old Harvard scholar who had never been arrested.

Will Liz Cheney demand answers as to why he was treated this way but former Attorney General Eric Holder wasn’t? Holder was charged with criminal contempt of Congress, and even 17 Democrats voted for it because he refused to answer questions about the disastrous Fast-and-Furious operation that resulted in the death of border agent Brian Terry. And Adam Kinzinger, who cried about January 6, didn’t shed a tear about Ashli Babbitt or the treatment of Peter Navarro.

Here's what some of us want to see: Send Liz Cheney and other swamp creatures home and replace them with liberty-loving, courageous constitutionalists who will demand accountability for the corrupt officials at the FBI and DOJ and in the Biden White House who have persecuted their political opponents with the power of the government and hidden the crimes of the connected. As for Republican candidates or incumbents who won’t do that, vote them out and replace them with those who will fight for us and our country. And I mean fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s Ark when it starts to rain!

Blah blah blah, I have every one of your articles governor, excellent reading, thank you, I have several other accounts, several articles about this topic as well several legal opinions, and you what, NOTHING WILL BE DONE about this KANGAROO FIASCO, I won’t refer to this as any kind of legal proceedings. In the end everybody will walk away laughing at what they have done, not only to PRESIDENT TRUMP, but too the country. There is no accountability in the washer cess pool, AND THERE NEVER WILL BE. Our government is hopelessly lost to our elected royalty, WE NO LONGER HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, WE HAVE A POLITICAL MONARCHY. That is the sad reality of drone voting. In Washington DC, THE MOST CORRUPT CITY IN THE WORLD there never has any real accountability, just a few sacrifical lambs, the real culprits walk free and with their pensioners for life, health care and carrers with the DNC connected MSM. You can send the most honest person in America to the cess pool and within a few months he or she will be like the others. They all learn how to play the political game and the people fall for it. And know the BIG D’s learned that our vote’s don’t really matter to them anymore. This theatrical presentation is a smoke screen too cover up their ineptitude at running a country. I am a proud veteran and have such shame of this country for the drone voting that has turned this country into what it is today, A POLITICAL PLAYGROUND for the wealthy donors who fund all this destructive political showmanship

Everyone in the world. And I mean everyone knows what Trump did as President. He is a man of his word. He is also his own worst enemy. We all know the over the cliff our economy has went since he left office.
The Jan. 6 FIASCO and the left's media. Are free advertising and a reminder of how good it was just a year and a half ago.

Governor Huckabee, I sent this same question to you earlier, but I'll send it again. I just have one question: How in the world did we get to a place where there is so much hatered and vitrial about one person (Pres. Trump) that Congress and the "president" can think of nothing else to do? Our country is falling apart and all they can think about is Pres. Trump. Thanks for your time.

Excellent Mike. Kangaroo court is absolutely right. When is Pelosi going to be brought up on charges? She over reaches her authority continuously and nobody puts a stop to it. She is the most vindictive, hateful, sad excuse for a woman. If the true conservatives don't stand up and rail at the injustices that are happening there is no hope for us. Can't trust the vote anymore, they cheated so ruthlessly last election and are fighting hard to make it easier next time. Disgusting bunch of cheaters.

First of all my President Donald J Trump should never have fallen for the entrapment opportunity that he did.
He should have told all Trump MAGA supporters to remain home after the 2020 election and do not rally anywhere so that we could all disavow any connection to those dressed up like us and not allow any form of "guilt by association".
Mr. Trump made a massive mistake.
He should have seen the trap they were setting for him and for MAGA but he didn't.
This was a massive blunder and a historical one we will never be able to undo.

    With chaos Democrats always win.

Trump is attempting to undo their win by entrapment of his people like Simone Gold and so many others.

    J6 political prisoners?
Sure they are. Congresswoman Mary Miller says they are.

We must become wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Where were the prophets prior to Jan 6 event warning our president to not have a rally?

Liz Cheney has such a vendetta against Pres. Trump that she would sacrifice anything or anyone to destroy him. She is evil, jealous, and spiteful that she will do or say anything to humiliate Pres. Trump. This is a Republican who definitely is not fit or needed in our government. She sat there at the hearing,, so pompous, and you could just read her body language that she was going to get her revenge while spouting her hatred for a president. Hopefully, one day she will be ousted from her lofty ambition and be ousted from her position. That will be a very happy day.

Yes, Mike, you are so right about the January 6 dog & pony show and the disgusting role of Rep. Liz Cheney. Here in South Carolina the Republican voters of the 7th District showed Rep. Tom Rice the door. Only about 25% voted for him. Republicans in Wyoming can do the same and nominate Harriet Hageman in the August primary. We outside Wyoming can give Hageman our support. Mike, could you interview Hageman for those of us in your audience?

Thank you Governor for your candid perspective which I am in agreement with. There is basically nothing happening to challenge these people about their lies and misinformation. How can this lying and misinformation continue without permanent damage to our system. We also keep saying the red wave is coming (I hope so) however we still have the lurking progressives that are professionals at structuring illegal voting to appear legal. So what is preventing a replay of the pandemic election results from 2020 in the 2022 election? This cloud still hangs over us. It is astounding how many people are branding any claim of fraudulent as being irresponsible and unpatriotic. There should be a nonpartisan demand to get the facts to assure the voters of fair elections. Sooo to say there is a red wave coming is dependent on fair elections--the progressives are bent winning by any means to meet their objective of a one party controlled system--their party. I hope you can provide the evidence that we can count on fair elections. Thank you for your ongoing optimism and I pray you are correct.
