THE LATEST NEWS

1.  ELECTION UPDATE:

All the votes now being counted, New Jersey Democrat Senate President Steve Sweeney has finally conceded to Edward Durr, the underfunded underdog truck driver who was given so little a chance of winning that Sweeney laughed at him when he asked for a debate.

https://www.fox29.com/news/nj-senate-president-steve-sweeney-concedes-to-gop-newcomer-edward-durr-after-stunning-defeat

My suggestion for Sweeney still holds: America needs truck drivers a lot more than we need arrogant political hacks, and a position just opened up for a truck driver in New Jersey. Happy trails!

Of course, I'm only joking. No displaced liberal politician ever has to find a real job. There's always a safety net waiting to save them from honest labor. For instance, if you’re a liberal politician whose unpopular radical views caused you to be rejected by the voters, never fear: a good-paying position awaits you in the Joe Biden Administration:

2. LATEST UPDATES IN THE KYLE RITTENHOUSE TRIAL

I told you about the man who claimed that activists were secretly photographing the jurors to intimidate them to vote guilty or face retaliation. It’s not clear whether that was true or these stories are related, but the judge announced that someone had been caught secretly recording the jury. The video was deleted.

https://www.westernjournal.com/judge-makes-huge-announcement-rittenhouse-trial-jury-members-filmed/

Rittenhouse did something most lawyers advise against and took the stand in his own defense. That can get you into big trouble if you’re facing a sharp, competent prosecutor. Luckily for him, that’s hardly the case here. This prosecutor actually thought he’d hit on a “Perry Mason” moment by asking Rittenhouse why he was running toward a fire with a fire extinguisher in his hand.

https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2021/11/10/we-just-may-have-the-dumbest-moments-in-the-rittenhouse-trial-n473324

The judge blasted the prosecutor for making a “grave constitutional violation” by mentioning Rittenhouse giving up his right to remain silent in front of the jury.

https://www.westernjournal.com/rittenhouse-judge-blasts-prosecution-says-made-grave-constitutional-violation/

Afterward, the prosecution rested its case, and the judge dropped one minor charge of breaking curfew.

https://www.westernjournal.com/judge-drops-charge-kyle-rittenhouse-case-state-rests-case/

Even some liberal commentators are admitting that their certainty that this wasn’t self-defense has been shaken. You can tell the trial is going badly for the prosecution because liberal media outlets are resorting to attacking the judge and calling him a white supremacist (he was appointed by a Democrat) so that if Rittenhouse is acquitted, they can blame it on him being coddled by a racist judge and not on the evidence and testimony.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/11/11/the-talking-points-go-forth-on-the-rittenhouse-trial-as-liberals-struggle-to-cope-n473658

Sadly, a lot of people who actually rely on these people for accurate news (which is like relying on Ben & Jerry for diet tips) may be misinformed enough to riot over the alleged “racist verdict” in a trial that was decided on the evidence and had nothing to do with race (Rittenhouse and all three people shot are white.) And while that might be terrible for America, the cities where it happens, and the people and businesses that will suffer, it will give more video footage to the irresponsible, biased media outlets that lit the fuse that set off the bomb. Is it any wonder polls show Americans trust the media less than almost anyone other than Congress?

3. OSHA ADMITS THE OBVIOUS

In the same spirit as “They can’t jail all of us,” OSHA has admitted its 1850 inspectors can’t enforce a vaccine mandate on 130 million workers at 8 million job sites. So they’ll rely on fellow workers to rat to the government and turn in their colleagues who aren’t vaccinated.

https://www.westernjournal.com/overstretched-osha-will-rely-american-workers-rat-bosses-flout-bidens-vax-mandate/

If you think this is unconstitutional government overreach, there might be an easier solution than you thought: just say “no” to being a fink.

But if that’s not enough, 11 major supply chain trade groups just filed a federal lawsuit to block the vaccine mandate before it messes up the supply chain even worse than it already is.

4. NEWSOM UNDERMINES PUBLIC TRUST AGAIN:

When California Gov. Gavin Newsom goes for very long without sticking his face in front of a camera, it’s news. So when he disappeared right after getting both a flu shot and a COVID booster shot, rumors flew that he’d had an adverse reaction. His staffers denied that, but sources told the Daily Mail that he did suffer muscle weakness and fatigue.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2021/11/10/confirmed-gavin-newsom-had-adverse-reaction-to-covid-booster-flu-shots-n1531670

I wonder if the vaccine mandaters realize how much they’re undermining the public’s trust when they refuse to admit that some people have adverse reactions? We used to hear that there was a small risk, but that it outweighed the risk of the disease. However, this latest attempt to vilify and silence anyone who even brings up the subject, even if they personally experienced it (see Eric Clapton), does nothing but fuel suspicions that officials are underreporting adverse reactions. If Newsom had a reaction but got over it, saying so would do more to ease people’s fears than disappearing for a week while rumors and speculation run rampant. Do these people know nothing about human nature?

5. QUICK WAY TO FIX THE ENERGY CRISIS:

President Biden has finally noticed that gas prices are way too high, so he’s going to do something about it: he’s directing the National Economic Council to focus on ways to reduce energy costs.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_breakingnews/biden-responds-to-soaring-inflation-orders-economic-council-to-reduce-energy-costs_4097612.html

So if you thought that his ordering the Attorney General to investigate oil companies for price gouging was a clueless response to the consequences of his own actions, this one-ups it. If they really want to reduce fuel prices (which I don’t believe because the left has been quite open about wanting much higher gas prices to “force” people to use less), when when all the bureaucrats are through jawboning and pointing fingers, maybe they could stop waging war on the domestic fuel industry and let them produce some oil and gas? It’s a crazy idea, but it just might work.

6. NOW THEY GET IT

The US Chamber of Commerce says that the now-$1.75 trillion spending bill that Nancy Pelosi is trying to pass will actually cost far more than that. They say the bill uses “gimmicks” to cover up over $1 trillion in spending.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/gimmicks-reconciliation-cover-up-1t-spending#&_intcmp=hp1bt1,hp1bt

Wait, they’re saying that a massive Democrat spending bill is going to cost far more than they’re admitting? And that Nancy Pelosi isn’t being completely honest with us? Well, knock me over with a dandelion!

7. LOOK WHAT BIDEN DID, AGAIN

During the tragically bungled evacuation of Afghanistan, about 1300 unaccompanied children were accidentally separated from their parents or guardians and brought to the US alone. Now, the Biden Administration doesn’t know what to do with them.

https://www.westernjournal.com/us-brought-1000-afghan-children-country-biden-admin-yet-figure-reunite-parents/

Well, since Biden thinks that separating children from families that are trying to enter the US is an outrageous crime deserving of $450,000 compensation, then he’d better figure out where to get $585 million to pay them all off.

I took your advice and ordered Relaxium, I took advantage of the discounted price for 6 months worth of the product. Unfortunately they shipped a second 6 month supply within a month of my receiving the first shipment. I advised them that I did not want the second shipment since I had not even finished my first bottle. I was told that I have to pay to ship the product back.

I wonder if those thugs that Rittenhouse had to confront weren’t just employees of one of the hate groups. They were quite the criminals. The pedophile really deserves no rights whatsoever.
