Eric Adams For Mayor

Sadly for New York’s future, the Democratic mayoral primary is pretty much the determining factor for who’s going to be mayor, since New Yorkers seem determined that they’d rather live in a crime-ridden pigsty run by a Democrat than a clean, safe, successful city run by a Republican (and it isn’t as if they hadn’t had very recent A-B comparisons to go by.)
The silver lining is that if New York City is to have another Democrat Mayor, at least it soon won’t be Bill DeBlasio…or anyone like him. After a drawn-out process that involved the election officials “accidentally” counting over 130,000 invalid test ballots, the winner is former NYPD Captain Eric Adams, who opposes DeBlasio’s disastrous “defund the police” stance and is the most law-and-order candidate of the bunch -- proving that even New York liberals can learn, if they just get hit in the head by robbers and gang members enough times.

Also proving that New Yorkers are wising up a little is that the most DeBlasio-like candidate, his far-left legal counsel Maya Wiley, (who’s all for defunding the police while her own neighborhood is protected by private security) came nowhere close. Naturally, she had the full-throated endorsement of AOC, but didn’t even win AOC’s district.
AFT President Defends CRT

The president of the American Federation of Teachers union defended Critical Race Theory and threatened legal action against states that try to prevent schools from teaching “honest history.”
If CRT were “honest history,” there would be no problem. Most parents have no issue with their kids learning that there were bad things in our history, including slavery and Jim Crow laws. But it isn’t honest to claim that America’s entire foundation is built on racism and oppression, or that children should be classified as victims or oppressors by their skin color, or that people today are personally responsible for the actions of people who lived 200 years ago.
CRT not only promotes and perpetuates racism, it’s built on twisted, cherry-picked and outright false "history." If the AFT president thinks that’s “honest history,” then she not only shouldn’t be running a teacher’s union, she shouldn’t be allowed within two blocks of a school zone.
Speech Restrictions On Facebook

The latest on Tucker Carlson’s accusations about the NSA allegedly spying on his private emails. He says they planned to leak the emails and try to frame him as a Russian agent because he was trying to land an interview with Vladimir Putin.
Also, the NSA’s adamant denials seem to be based on what the meaning of “spying” is.
A Tough Question

Stop The Presses! The unthinkable has happened! An A.P. reporter not only asked a tough question of a Biden Administration official, but when he tried to weasel out and deflect the question, drilled down and quoted facts to his face that proved he was spouting garbage.
Now, I can die a happy man because I’ve seen everything.
Related: The Washington Post’s fact-checker, after a long delay and an attempt to deflect blame on Republicans, finally admitted that the White House is lying when it claims it was Republicans who defunded the police. He gave Biden’s people “Three Pinocchios” instead of the hair-on-fire, jaw-on-the-ground, Double-Whopper-with-extra-cheese “Four Pinocchio” liar designation that they deserve. But at least it’s baby steps toward facing reality about these people.
