Biden DOJ’s next raid?
The Biden “Justice” Department isn’t just raiding former Presidents’ homes, it’s also reportedly investigating the Southern Baptist Convention. There are disturbing aspects of this on both sides. I’ll have more comments on it later, but for now, Alex Parker at Redstate.com does a good job of laying out what little we know so far.
Game time
Let’s play a game. There’s a member of President Biden’s Cabinet who is so inept that this person is even being ripped by liberal outlets like the New York Times.
Now, here’s the fun part: before you read any further, try to guess which one it is. I know, it’s not easy. We have an Attorney General who’s giving the old East German Stasi a run for its money. We have a DHS head who insists our border is secure as thousands of people a day pour over it. We have a Treasury Secretary who didn’t see inflation coming and insisted it would be transitory, and whose solution to fears of a newly beefed-up IRS is to appeal to their mercy by begging the IRS not to audit people making under $400,000 a year. We have a Transportation Secretary whose sole qualifications for the job were being gay and liking trains when he was five, and who responded to the worst supply chain crisis since World War II by going on parental leave and not telling anyone. We have a Joint Chiefs Chairman who oversaw the tragic Afghanistan pull-out debacle (one year ago this week, more on that later.) And I could go on.
All in all, it’s the most stunningly incompetent team of nitwits since the Three Stooges went into the plumbing business. But which one is actually getting singled out, even by the liberal media, as the most inept of all? Here’s a hint: it isn’t any of the ones I’ve just mentioned.
Okay, here’s the link with the answer:

That’s right, it’s Health and Human Services Director Xavier Becerra. Who could’ve imagined that it would be a bad idea in the middle of the worst pandemic in a century to put health decisions in the hands of a lawyer with no management experience, whose closest brush with health issues was trying to railroad some undercover reporters into prison for exposing Planned Parenthood’s barbaric abortion practices? Even Nancy Pelosi reportedly viewed him as untrustworthy, but of course, all the Senate Democrats voted to confirm him. He’s bumbled vaccine efforts, but focused hard on what he does best: targeting religious people, like trying to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to give their employees contraceptives. Still, in this crowd, it’s really hard to say that he stands head and shoulders below the rest.
According to the link, Becerra was chosen by Biden largely because he was under pressure to name a Latino, which is also the major reason he won’t be fired. If any Latino will do, could someone see if Charo is available? I can’t imagine that she wouldn’t be better at the job.
Breaking as we go to press
Biden’s CIA Director may be challenging Becerra for that coveted “Most Inept Biden Official” trophy.

The Daily Caller exclusively reports that while William Burns was president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in D.C., the influential think tank employed at least 20 “policy experts” who were undisclosed members of the Chinese Communist Party.
Former deputy national security adviser to the Vice President, Steve Yates, said, “Either he appears to have allowed government-linked experts from a hostile power to affiliate with an organization boasting many former and future US appointees or he didn’t know or bother to check — a remarkable lapse in operational security for a highly-cleared former US official and pretty disqualifying for a director of Central Intelligence. If you can’t track who was in your think tank, running a much larger intelligence agency is the wrong line of work.”
Then again, if you’re in the wrong line of work, then you’re right at home in the Biden Administration. That should be their recruitment motto.
Arizona can’t wait
Arizona Gov. Doug Doucey said Arizona has had enough of President Biden’s “dereliction of duty” on border security and can’t wait any longer. So they’ve started filling in the gaps Biden left in the unfinished border wall in Yuma, a major conduit for illegal entry, using shipping containers topped with razor wire.
Sounds like a great plan. It will not only seal the border, it will also give us something to do with all those shipping containers that used to be used to transport things like baby formula.
Tomorrow is the day
Tomorrow, primary elections will be held in Alaska and Wyoming. That means it’s one day and counting until step one of Liz Cheney’s transition to CNN commentator. But maybe she’ll pull out a win after all. She did just get the coveted endorsement of Al Franken.

The new definition of “white privilege”:
Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband’s motorcade blocked two handicapped parking spots as it waited for him to finish shopping at Whole Foods in Brentwood. Is there anything whiter than shopping at Whole Foods in Brentwood?
Ordered to pay damages
Friday, a federal jury ordered the Senate Majority PAC, a Democrat Super PAC, to pay $8.2 million in damages to former Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, over a political ad that misleadingly accused him of sexual misconduct with underaged girls. The dishonest ads helped derail his campaign and cost him the election.

The PAC plans to appeal the verdict, but even if they lose, I assume they’ll take the same ethical attitude that the late Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took when he was asked if he regretted falsely accusing Mitt Romney of tax evasion. He smirked, “Romney didn’t win, did he?”

New Data
New data shows that Minneapolis has suffered a sharp rise in 9 out of 14 categories of crime from one year ago.
That’s ground zero for the “Defund the police” movement. It’s also the home district of police defunding advocate, Rep. Ilhan Omar, whom Democratic primary voters had the chance to replace last week, but they failed to take it.
Huck’s Hero
A Huck’s Hero salute to the Rome, Georgia, high school football players who saw a woman trapped in her car after a serious crash. They rushed over and combined their strength to pry her jammed car door open with their bare hands and pull her to safety. Let’s hear it for “toxic masculinity!”
