I hope you’ll join me in praying for the people of Gaylord, Michigan, which was struck Friday afternoon by a powerful tornado that did extensive damage to homes, businesses and vehicles. At this writing, one person is known dead and 40 injured, and 25,000 are without electricity.

Title 42 hangs on
A federal judge in Louisiana ordered the Biden Administration not to lift the Title 42 pandemic health policy on Monday. That would have ended expedited deportations and sparked a mass influx of illegal immigrants. The judge ordered the policy to stay in effect until the lawsuit by Louisiana and Arizona (joined by 22 other states) makes its way through court.

The Biden Administration said it will appeal. Let’s hope the wheels of the justice system grind slowly enough that by the time it reaches the Supreme Court, we’ll have a new President who will actually do his duty to enforce border security and immigration laws.
The Biden DOJ said it disagrees with the judge, and that “the CDC has now determined, in its expert opinion, that continued reliance on this authority is no longer warranted in light of the current public-health circumstances.”

To be honest, they have a point. It’s possible that the current pandemic situation doesn’t warrant keeping that policy. However, it’s unfortunately become the only border security policy that’s still standing due to Biden’s resolute refusal to enforce the law and protect America’s national sovereignty.
And I’m sorry, but you’re not allowed to claim that you can end COVID restrictions on possibly infected foreigners when you’re still rigorously enforcing them on American citizens, including those who’ve already had COVID. Either it’s still a health emergency or it’s not, but it can’t be one that requires rigid rules for everybody except people who want to enter the country illegally.

The National School Board Association has identified the perpetrator (or fall guy, depending on your viewpoint) behind that infamous letter to the Biden DOJ, requesting that the FBI investigate parents who protest at school board meetings as “domestic terrorists.” The NSBA says an independent investigation placed the blame for the letter, “both in origin and substance,” on then-interim CEO and executive director Chip Slaven, who conveniently no longer holds those positions. The letter sparked massive public outrage and a number of state school boards resigned from the NSBA over it.

The current NSBA CEO and executive director said in a statement, "The letter directly contradicts our core commitments to parent engagement, local control, and nonpartisanship. The sentiments shared in the letter do not represent the views or position of the NSBA. The NSBA does not seek or advocate for federal law enforcement intervention at local school board meetings."
All fine sentiments, but read that entire article which details the weeks of meetings and collusion between Slaven and Biden Administration officials. The NSBA may say now that it doesn’t advocate for federal law enforcement to go after parents, but that didn’t stop the FBI from launching “domestic threat” investigations against dozens of parents, which as far as we know, they’re still doing.
Slaven is unrepentant. He said, "The attack on public schools is very real, as evidenced by the many false attacks on NSBA’s letter. The organization owes no one an apology for standing up against violence and threats.”
A few points: the attacks on the letter were not falsehoods, they were accurate and justifiable. Yes, you do own parents an apology for trying to convince the feds to treat like terrorists for complaining about schools forcing leftist, racist and sexually inappropriate materials onto their chidren. Finally, if there is an actual threat made by a parent against a school board member, you call the local police. You don’t have secret meetings with federal agents to encourage them to treat any parents who strongly protest offensive curricula as terrorists and insurrectionists.
It’s nice that the NSBA now publicly admits that the letter was wrong and claims they’re sorry and won’t do it again. But I’d rather hear the same words from the Biden DOJ about the continuing treatment of innocent Americans as terrorists that this letter set off.
Summer Lee “wins”
After a long, close count, Summer Lee has won the Democratic Primary in Pennsylvania’s swing Congressional District 12. Lee narrowly beat establishment Democrat and state Sen. Steve Irwin.

In a show of how radical the activist, primary-voting Democrat base has become, Lee is a far-left progressive, endorsed by socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Oscasio-Cortez. She’s running on a platform of reigning in police, “abolishing the carceral state” (getting rid of prisons), abolishing cash bail (all policies that have turned big blue cities into crime-ridden hellholes), redistributing wealth, free college and Medicare for all, and slavery reparations.
So congratulations to the real winner of this race, Mike Doyle. He’s her Republican opponent.

Netflix gives out walking papers
Netflix might be serious about giving leftist crybullies their walking papers. The ailing streaming service has canceled several planned “woke” projects, particularly those aimed at kids.
A feminist animated series from Meghan Markle has been aborted, as has a documentary called “Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism and You” and a related series aimed at kindergarteners called “Anti-Racist Baby.” Those last two were by Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, one of America’s leading arsonists in the field of racially-divisive radical politics.
Variety claims that sources at Netflix say the cancellations are not over financial issues but “creative differences.” I guess they'd rather create shows that make people want to watch instead of cancel their subscriptions. What a novel business model in 2022!
“The Smartest People In The Room!”
Former National Security Adviser Fiona Hill was one of the Deep Staters who testified in the attempt to impeach President Trump for allegedly pressuring Ukrainian President Zelinskyy to investigate Hunter and Joe Biden’s foreign business deals (and Heaven forbid that anyone do that!)
Well, the media’s favorite swamp dweller was back in the news recently for once again trying to slam Trump in comments to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
Hill claimed that Putin didn’t invade Ukraine when Trump was President because Trump’s ignorance of foreign affairs frustrated him, and Putin doesn’t like dealing with unpredictability. So he waited until Biden was in because “he thought that somebody like Biden, who’s a transatlanticist, who knows all about NATO, who actually knows where Ukraine is, and actually knows something about the history, and is very steeped in international affairs, would be the right person to engage with as opposed to somebody that you have to explain everything to all the time, honestly.” Putin waited to invade under Biden because he “wanted us to sue for peace.”
Let me translate all that DC swamp talk into plain English: Putin was scared of what Trump might do if he invaded another country on his watch, but he figured from Biden’s long history of being on the wrong side of every foreign policy issue and of being incompetent, weak and all-talk that if he invaded Ukraine under Biden, he’d not only get away with it, but we’d offer him deals and concessions just to get him to stop.
She also noted that Putin thought it was an opportune time of weakness on the part of NATO, something that the “ignorant” Trump had been trying to force them to fix by spending more on their own militaries. Brilliant Democrats like Biden slammed him for that, claiming he was attacking our allies by expecting them to pick up some of the tab for their defense.
Here’s the scary part: I’ll bet everyone in that room, including Hill, believes that they are the smartest people in the room. And they’re too dumb to see just how stupid it is to claim it’s good to have geniuses like them in the White House because our enemies respect them so much that they wait until they're in charge to attack.

All you Ultra-MAGA domestic terrorists who claim school officials are grooming small children into perverted sexual practices are way off base! Why, it’s not as if school board members were trying to lure small children into some kind of “queer open mic” event at a sex shop or something!
Wait: you say a school board director in Bellingham. Washington, is actually doing that? And she OWNS the sex shop? Oh, but she insists it’s an “identity-inclusive” and “not creepy” sex shop? Well in that case, there’s nothing to see here…
