New Podcast Episode

Today on “The People’s Podcast,” Governor Huckabee reflects on the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and how it forever changed America. Also the Gov. reacts to Pres. Biden’s divisive speech about the MAGA movement. Then a fascinating conversation with commentator and author David Limbaugh. Limbaugh’s latest, part of his best-selling series on Jesus and the early church, is “The Resurrected Jesus: The Church in the New Testament.” Finally, Governor Huckabee shares his thoughts on the life and leadership of Queen Elizabeth II.

Breaking special counsel news, and the FBI takes Mike Lindell's phone

In breaking news Tuesday night, John Solomon reports that the FBI actually paid Igor Danchenko, the source for the discredited Steele “dossier” whom Special Counsel John Durham has charged with lying to them in multiple interviews. The Bureau used Danchenko as a paid confidential human source (CHS) for three years even though they knew he’d been tied to Russian intelligence services. He was on the FBI payroll from March 2017 through October 2020. (Recall that earlier, he’d been employed at the Brookings Institution, run by Hillary crony Strobe Talbott.)

This information was in a motion filed by Durham in Danchenko’s upcoming trial, scheduled for October, and unsealed Tuesday. Solomon says that during this trial, Durham plans to reveal “many more lies” that Danchenko told the FBI. This is yet another big embarrassment for the Bureau --- and more vindication for President Trump.

So...tell me again, WHO was using Russia to try to affect the outcome of the 2020 election?

https://justthenews.com/accountability/russia-and-ukraine-scandals/new-durham-bombshell-fbi-paid-russian-accused-lying

Techno Fog has the story, too, and his piece is highly recommended. He makes an interesting point: that one benefit of making Danchenko a CHS was that they could use the cover of “sources and methods” to conceal any misconduct.

Get ready --- Durham plans to expose Danchenko’s lies about the so-called “pee tape,” the disgusting made-up story about Trump and prostitutes in a Moscow hotel. Danchenko is the one who passed that story to the FBI, and it became the centerpiece of the Trump-Russia Hoax.

In related news, Solomon also reports the existence of a Capitol Police whistleblower memo detailing the gigantic January 6 intelligence failures on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s watch. The document (included in his story) that bosses gave the riot patrol units that day said the threat analysis had shown nothing, and that is a lie.

https://justthenews.com/government/congress/capitol-police-whistleblower-memo-lays-out-jan-6-intelligence-failures-pelosi

On January 9, 2021, just three days after the riot, Eric Hoar, a decorated military veteran and intelligence analyst who now works at Homeland Security, wrote a memo to all his bosses to remind them that for weeks, he and his colleagues had been been reporting about plans by some patriot groups to storm the Capitol. The FBI, DHS, U.S. Marshals Service and the Metropolitan Police Department had all provided Capitol Police with “extensive, detailed information,” which had been coming in nonstop.
As Solomon reports, “Hoar wrote he feared political considerations had overtaken security needs in the lead-up to the riot.” Indeed. And why hasn’t Nancy Pelosi’s J6 committee looked into THAT? Maybe because Nancy herself is the one who placed political considerations above security needs? Maybe because she deliberately ignored the warnings because she wanted security to be minimal, because a great big bang-up Republican riot at the Capitol would be GREAT? Solomon reports that Hoar is now working with Capitol Hill Republicans, members of the House Administration Committee.

In other FBI news, Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow who’s spent the last two years trying to make sense of anomalies in the 2020 presidential election and daring to question Biden’s win, says three cars full of FBI agents blocked him in while he was in line at a Hardee’s drive-through and confiscated his phone.

He and a buddy were returning from a fishing trip, headed to Lindell’s hometown of Mankato, Minnesota. He said Tuesday on his show THE LINDELL REPORT that they also served him with a subpoena for documents.

https://nypost.com/2022/09/13/mypillow-ceo-mike-lindells-phone-seized-at-hardees-drive-thru/

(Editorial note: Just to remind you we notice these things, even this NEW YORK POST story includes the obligatory wording that Lindell “falsely” insisted Donald Trump won the 2020 election. To be accurate, neither we nor the NY POST can say definitively whether Lindell’s claim is false or not.)

Lindell says the agents started “peppering him with questions” about Tina Peters, the election clerk in Mesa County, Colorado, who faces charges in that state for copying election records. She recently had to miss the premiere of a documentary film that featured her, because the local DA turned down her request to travel out of state for Lindell’s “Moment Of Truth Summit” in Springfield, Missouri. (This wasn’t because she was a flight risk, but because he personally found it offensive that she would be attending this event.)

Lindell claims that since he doesn’t work on a computer, he runs five companies from his cellphone. He said to the agents, “If I don’t give it to you, are you going to arrest me?” They did have a warrant for it. After calling his attorney, he handed it over.

https://nypost.com/2022/09/13/mypillow-ceo-mike-lindells-phone-seized-at-hardees-drive-thru/

According to the WASHINGTON TIMES, Lindell said the agents asked him specifically about Dominion voting machines, the election in Colorado, and how long he’s known Doug Frank, another election skeptic who has claimed Biden’s 2020 victory was the result of cheating. How dare either of these threats to our democracy suggest such a thing!

This appears to have something to do with Tina Peters’ case in Colorado, though hers are state charges. (Why would the FBI be getting involved in a state prosecution?) Lindell says he’s donated “hundreds of thousands of dollars” to her legal defense, and that she has also been a vocal supporter of his efforts to prove the 2020 election was stolen.

Here’s something particularly disturbing from the WASHINGTON TIMES story: The letter accompanying the warrant requested that Lindell “not disclose the existence of this subpoena for an indefinite period of time,” claiming that “any disclosure could be detrimental to the investigation.” I don’t think the FBI knows Mike Lindell very well if they thought he’d comply with this supposedly “nonbinding” request, especially one so nonspecific that it uses the phrase “an indefinite period of time.” Lindell probably told them they could kiss his lily-white Minnesota behind.

Mike Davis of the Article III Project, whose legal analysis was featured in yesterday’s newsletter, appeared on THE INGRAHAM ANGLE to talk about Lindell’s experience. “This is scary stuff,” he said. It started with targeting President Trump “for non-crimes of keeping his presidential records at Mar-A-Lago,” and now they’re after his supporters, “for apparently the non-crime of questioning an election.” There is supposed to be a predicate crime, he explained, in order to have grand jury subpoenas and warrants.

“What’s the crime they’re investigating?” he asked. “Questioning the election? We’re not a Third-World, Marxist hellhole –- yet.” Yet Biden’s ‘Justice’ officials seem to think they can investigate this as a crime.

Julie Kelly, author of the book JANUARY 6, also appeared on the show, and she pointed out that any sign of someone questioning the election –- texts, social media posts, memes, etc. –- is being used as evidence against defendants, even though it isn’t a crime. It wasn’t a crime to contest the outcome of the election in battleground states, she said, and it really had nothing to do with the riot on January 6 --- “it was always to criminalize political dissent” and to “intimidate the Republican base of Trump voters.” It’s also being used against high-level officials and even Trump lawyers.

Kelly said, as we have, that this DOJ is out of control and will get worse. She even used the word “bloodlust,” and we don’t think she was exaggerating. ‘Justice’ officials are not doing this for their health --- they’re deadly serious about their desired outcome and live for the day when they can indict Trump, put him in handcuffs, perp-walk him, and preferably get him into a DC court and convict him. “As weaponized and politicized as it is,” she said, “[it] will bring a grand jury indictment against Donald Trump. The only question is when. Will it be before the election or afterwards?”

Turmoil at the New York Times

The managers of the New York Times are facing a major reporter strike, and I’m sure Republicans are enjoying this a lot more than any woke entertainment products coming out of Hollywood. There’s almost too much liberal hypocrisy to point and laugh at.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/spencerbrown/2022/09/13/1300-new-york-times-employees-refuse-to-return-to-their-offices-n2613008

As Spencer Brown at Townhall.com reports, the paper actually expects its liberal elitist staff to get past the COVID hysteria and actually show up at the office to work for a whopping three days a week. They are refusing to do this unless they get a hefty raise because they claim that due to high inflation, if they have to pay for things like commuting, lunch out and pants, it will be like taking a pay cut (welcome to the world of every other American suffering under the inflation created by all the Democrats they fervently support.) The Times countered by giving each of them a free NY Times-branded lunch box, but amazingly, that failed to win them over.

Brown’s account of this standoff between spoiled, out-of-touch liberals is both enlightening and entertaining. I especially enjoyed this paragraph:

“The next round of contract negotiations is set for September 14 during which employees — who are refusing to go to work — will hoot and holler about how they ‘can't’ work because of how bad the economy is — due to the policies of the man they feverishly worked to get elected. Maybe if The Times had reported on and confirmed Hunter Biden's laptop-from-hell before the 2020 election they wouldn't be in this mess?" Nor would the rest of us.

Here’s a riddle for you: If 1300 New York Times reporters decide to stage a strike and refuse to write anything, who wins? Answer: America.

Surreal

There are times when I suspect that the entire Biden Administration isn’t a presidency so much as history’s greatest work of surrealist performance art. Surrealism is a movement based on bizarre and illogical images that assault your sense of reality, like a famous painting by Magritte of a pipe captioned, “This is not a pipe.” You can easily imagine that inspiring a series of Biden campaign posters: a graph showing two consecutive quarters of economic contraction labeled “This is not a recession;” a black-clad Antifa thug setting fire to a police station labeled “This is not a dangerous extremist,” or millions of migrants swarming across the border labeled “This is a secure border.”

Even his election campaign was an assault on our senses of reality, as we were told it was insane to question how a man got the most votes in history when he’d run twice before and never made it past the Iowa Caucuses, was widely suspected of being in the early stages of dementia, barely came out of his basement to campaign, and when he did, couldn’t draw more than 200 people.

But even with all that, Tuesday may have been the peak moment of surrealism, one that puts Salvador Dali and David Lynch to shame. It was a day when worse-than-expected inflation numbers for August were announced, including a yearly 11.4% rise in the Consumer Price Index, the worst since 1979. This sparked the biggest stock market plunge since the pandemic hit in 2020. And yet, even as the meltdown was taking place, the Biden Administration decided to go ahead with a big, happy-talk celebration on the White House lawn of the ridiculous “Inflation Reduction Act,” which does zero to reduce inflation, and ballyhoo all the “progress” Biden’s policies have made on reducing inflation and bringing the economy roaring back.

https://www.westernjournal.com/new-inflation-report-shakes-market-dow-jones-1200-points-biden-celebrates-inflation-reduction-act/

Bonchie at Redstate.com also picked up on the surrealist vibe, pointing out the mindboggling weirdness of having liberal singer James Taylor perform “Fire and Rain” (a song about suicide, appropriately enough), which considering the economic news should have been retitled, “Rainin’ Fire.” It was the modern day equivalent of fiddling while Rome burns. Bonchie also catalogued more of Biden’s reality-defying claims and bizarre, incoherent ramblings.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/09/13/joe-biden-holds-surreal-celebration-as-stock-market-crashes-and-inflation-soars-n626971

The "Twilight Zone"-like event also gave us what would be the defining images of this Administration if we didn’t already have that photo of Biden ranting angrily against half the country in front of a blood-red, Hitlerian backdrop. They were screen grabs from Fox News and CNN showing Biden touting the “Inflation Reduction Act” while in the corner of the screen, the stock ticker showed the Dow down 1,295 points due to panic over inflation.

That screenshot just might replace Dali’s melting clock as the most famous surrealist image of all time.

Primary Results

Tuesday, this year’s final primary elections were held in New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Delaware. At this writing, some of the races are still being counted, but here is a page for continually updated results from New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

And continually-updated primary election news:

https://www.foxnews.com/live-news/new-hampshire-rhode-island-primary-election-results-news-2022-midterms

In Delaware, Ashley Kalus won the GOP nomination for Governor. Turnout was extremely low in Democratic races, which may spell bad news for long-serving Democrats being challenged by far-left “progressives.” It’s not clear whether voters just want new blood, or the base really has become that far left, or maybe more mainstream voters just didn’t turn out because they thought the incumbents were safe and now they’ll be stuck with socialist radicals, like AOC’s constituents. Here’s more about what’s going on in the state that gifted us with Joe Biden.

https://news.yahoo.com/delaware-primary-legislative-races-too-050837987.html

Two of the most-watched races were in New Hampshire. State Senate President Chuck Morse conceded to retired Army Gen. Don Bolduc for the Republican Senate nomination. Bolduc is being painted by the media as a right-wing extremist who questions the integrity of the 2020 election and wants to defund the FBI and the Education Department. In other words, a typical mainstream American.

America-First candidate Karoline Leavitt won the GOP nomination for New Hampshire’s 1st House District, despite heavy backing for her top opponent, Matt Mowers, by the GOP Establishment. Both she and Mowers worked in the Trump Administration, so Trump remained neutral in this race. Leavitt is 25, and if she wins, will become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.

Why does no one impound the Dominion source code used in past elections. It would be so easy to spot the logic to (1) engage vote manipulation and (2) demonstrate how it could be used. Just having such options in voter tabulation software is clear evidence of FRAUD, whether engaged or not. It would be clear to any Court that such software would invalidate tabulation results.

There is an old saying that you can’t unrighteousness a bell and for all those watching the 2020 election coverage and saw the illegal election fraud taking place and the subsequent evidence and affidavits it’s impossible for us to not know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the election was stolen.
It also means that we know that anyone who says it wasn’t stolen is lying.

All my life I've been a fighter for the underdog. I even was demoted on my job once for speaking up for what I believed was right, so I was made an example so everyone else would be quite. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Maybe they are right that you can't fight the government, but someone has too. I so appreciate all you do. You are an amazing person and I totally admire you. May the good Lord Bless you and your family and give you strenth to keep on keeping on.
I'm a believer in justice and can't wait to see the Red Wave that's coming.

Durham and his so called investigation is a farce meant to distract from the real criminals. If it was real he'd already been charging the entire leadership of the doj and fbi. They don't even rate being capitalized. Both organizations are totally corrupt top to bottom. If they weren't, you'd see hundreds of whistle-blowers, not a couple dozen. Sad.

"...the Biden Administration decided to go ahead with a big, happy-talk celebration on the White House lawn of the ridiculous 'Inflation Reduction Act,' which does zero to reduce inflation..."

Why wouldn't they celebrate? THEY get to consolidate centralized authoritarian power and line their pockets with their "Green New Socialism" bill, while ensuring that we the serf-caste are kept hungry, impoverished, beaten down, and "in their proper place." And, of course, if anyone protests the current state of the country, the modern Gestapo federal bureau of instigation will slap on a label of "racist" or "domestic terrorism," and will promptly leverage the power of Big Tech to ensure that said serf remains appropriately obedient, compliant and silent!

And WHERE are our Republican Representatives, speaking out resolutely and with great courage against these abuses and usurpations?

Or. Right. They're sending out a smokescreen to keep people from asking these very questions by trying to codify some kind of abortion bullshit at the federal level, instead of following the ruling of SCOTUS and letting the states govern their own affairs, and are funding more of the "Leftwing Lunacy" that they claim to oppose.

Useless. Both parties in this country are utterly, completely, and totally useless. The Left are obsessed with consolidating unchallengeable authoritarian power and the Right obsessed with making a profit while doing nothing.
