  Regarding your commentary last night on your show about the Democratic state politicians in Texas who left the state recently , you are with all due respect dead wrong . This was an act of incredible courage on their part .
  The governor of Texas ,Greg Abbott and his GOP cronies are not trying to protect the state from "election and voter fraud ", which is entirely imaginary not only in Texas but the entire US .
  No such thing even exists in America .
  They ARE trying to make it much more difficult for poor blacks and Hispanics to vote through ruthless suppression of their votes . Poor blacks and Hispanics are routinely subject to grossly unfair and excessive ID requirements to vote and this IS a latter day form of Jim Crow laws .
  Texas and other states have closed many polling places , refused to allow people to vote by mail even though there is not one shred of evidence that voting by mail has ever resulted in "voter and election fraud " , reduced hours for voting etc .
  This is because the entire Republican party is appallingly racist , xenophobic and unbelievably corrupt and backward . The Republicans realize that most poor blacks and Hispanics are not stupid enough to vote for a party which has done nothing but grievous harm to them and violated their rights for decades .
  The GOP could not care less about the well-being of the poor and disadvantaged of whatever skin color or ethnicity in America , or of poor women and children .
  And former president Trump cynically used the presidency as an excuse to enrich himself at the expense of the American people , taking advantage of the party's callousness and cruelty for his own self-serving motives .
  Thanks heavens America now has Joe Biden as president , a man who is an infinitely better politician and human being than Trump will ever be . He and his administration have restored sanity, decency, competence, dignity and compassion to the White House after Trump and his crime syndicate masquerading as an administration befouled and besmirched the office of the presidency and betrayed the American people as no previous US president has in the history of the USA !
  Donald Trump was by far the most corrupt, incompetent , malicious , greedy, unscrupulous, unprincipled and amoral and dishonest man ever to serve as a president of the United States .
