Social Media's Double Standard

Interesting how, if you’re a conservative who expresses any skepticism over the 2020 election or the origins of COVID-19 or any other cherished liberal narrative, you will get censored, labeled, suspended or even banned for life by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or TikTok. Yet those same nanny-state social media platforms have let their bandwidth be widely used to disseminate anti-Semitic hatred and promote violent attacks on Jews.

By the way, this isn’t just coming from irresponsible anonymous thugs. If President Trump can be banned for life for allegedly inciting violence just for asking supporters to “peacefully and patriotically protest,” then where are the “disinformation” and “violence incitement” bans for AOC for falsely tweeting that Israel is an “apartheid state”? Or for Rep. Ilhan Omar for accusing Israel of “occupation” of Gaza and committing war crimes when they launched targeted retaliation at Hamas terrorist leaders for firing hundreds of missiles at Israeli civilians? FYI, Rep. Omar: That’s what a “war crime” actually looks like.
Rally Time

Former President Trump announced that he’ll resume his rallies soon in key battleground states, starting in Florida, Ohio and North Carolina.
He hasn’t revealed yet whether he’s planning to run again in 2024, or this is to keep his base fired up to turn out and take back Congress in 2022. I think it might be interesting if these rallies happened during the “9/11-style” commission investigation of the January 6th Capitol riot. It might create some serious cognitive dissonance to see thousands of Trump supporters attending rallies peacefully, as they did for years, while in Washington, we’re being told that every gathering of two or more Trump voters is a violent cabal of insurrectionists.
New Georgia Vote Audit

Friday, a Georgia judge ruled that 145,000 absentee ballots from the 2020 election in Fulton County can be unsealed and examined for an audit of the vote. That was where a stop was called to counting on election night, but surveillance cameras revealed that it resumed after poll monitors left. The plaintiffs believe ballots were fabricated and some were counted multiple times.
The judge said, “We want to do this in such a way that dispels rumors and disinformation and sheds light.” Sounds reasonable, which is probably why the judge is already being attacked for allowing it. You’d think that people who insist the election was 100% fair and accurate would want to have a transparent audit to prove that so we could all move on. I suggested that just a few days after the election and warned that if it didn’t happen, these questions would hang over the Biden Administration and never go away. And they attacked me for saying it.
Just curious: have the questions gone away?...
Gabbard Takes On Her Party's Groupthink

Any Democrats who voted for Joe Biden in the primaries because they wanted a pragmatic, principled, bipartisan candidate who would work across the aisle to promote America’s best interests definitely bet on the wrong horse. They should have voted for former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, whom the DNC tried to keep off the debate stage.
I’ve talked to her several times on my show and always found her to be an intelligent and well-spoken advocate for her positions, but also a gracious debater who’s willing to listen to other views and find common ground. If the Democratic Party is ever to save itself from the insane, identity-politics-obsessed, neo-socialist radical left that’s taken it over, then Tulsi Gabbard would be both a good leader to turn to and a great example of how to conduct themselves.
Latest case in point: Gabbard is once again bucking her Party mates in calling on President Biden to pressure Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to step down. You could make that case for a number of reasons, particularly the shocking amount of violent crime that’s been plaguing Chicago for far too long. But while Democrats can turn a blind eye to that, their own obsession with racism should force them to demand Lightfoot’s resignation.
Yes, she’s an African-American woman, which would make most Democrats terrified to criticize her, no matter how justified. But she recently announced that she would grant interviews only to non-white reporters. Gabbard tweeted that her “blatant anti-white racism is abhorrent” and “our leaders must condemn all racism, including anti-white.” (Former Trump advisor Boris Epshteyn pointed out that Lightfoot’s ban is also anti-Asian, anti-Semitic and anti-all other groups that include people with pale skin.)
She’s not just piling on Lightfoot for political opportunism. Gabbard had previously and bravely tweeted, “Please, let us stop the RACIALIZATION of everyone and everything. We are all children of God, and therefore family in the truest sense, no matter our race or ethnicity.”
Amen! That’s the attitude that America, and particularly the Democratic Party, desperately needs more of.
If someone thinks they have the right to call you a racist just because your skin is white, then you have the right to call them a racist because they just proved they are one.
