1. Another fabricated January 6 claim unravels:
Another day, another fabricated Democrat claim about the “Great Insurrection” unravels in public like a cheap suit.
Rep. Liz Cheney claimed that once the violence in the Capitol started, President Trump waited 187 minutes, or over three hours, before saying anything about it. She railed that he “refused to act when action by our president was required, indeed essential, and compelled by his oath to our Constitution.” She called this long delay a “supreme dereliction of duty.”
There’s also another, more accurate, term for it: “fictitious.”
The Federalist compared the timeline of the Capitol violence to the timestamps on Trump’s tweets. The first building was breached around 2:13 to 2:15 p.m. At 2:38 p.m., Trump tweeted, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”
About 30 minutes later, he tweeted, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order — respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
At 4:17, he posted a video urging the rioters to go home, which Twitter promptly suppressed because “TRUUUUUUMP!!!”
Cheney’s office did not respond to the Federalist's inquiries about where she got that 187-minute figure. I’m guessing it came from Adam Schiff, who got it off his Rotten Apple watch.

DAILY BIBLE VERSE
This verse was recommended by Steve S.
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

2. Good Poll News for the Biden Administration:
Finally, some good poll news for the Biden Administration: Gallup found that Kamala Harris is not the most unpopular figure in Washington. The bad news: that’s because President Biden is even less popular than she is. His Gallup approval rating is 44% compared to her 46%.
More bad news: those are both still pretty lousy, and they’re among the highest ratings they’ve garnered in any poll. In a left-leaning Civiqa poll, Biden’s approval is only 37%. And a stunning Issues & Insights/TIPP poll found that only 22% of Americans want Biden to run for reelection and just 12% want Harris to run for reelection.
One caveat: Gallup found that the most popular figure in Washington with a 60% approval rating is Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. That makes me question either the poll sample or whether people have been paying much attention to SCOTUS news lately.

3. “Lie of the Year” for 2021:
The Washington Free Beacon also chose its “Lie of the Year” for 2021, awarding “Four Bill Clintons” to President Biden for his promise, “I will shut down the virus.”
https://freebeacon.com/coronavirus/biden-covid-death/
Technically, that was a campaign promise, so it’s actually from 2020, but most people didn’t really know how big a lie it was until after he’d been in office for a year or so. They should have, however. Throughout 2020, Democrats like Biden tried to paint the virus as Trump’s fault, every death from it as his personal responsibility (some even claimed he wanted people to die), and his inability to cure it as proof that he was uncaring and incompetent.
That was, of course, all cruel, divisive, slanderous nonsense, and anyone who thought about it at all knew it at the time. I repeatedly pointed out that no President could possibly stop an airborne virus from entering America and spreading (Democrats claimed he couldn’t even keep illegal immigrants out of America, then fought to stop him; and when he tried to keep virus carriers from China out of America, they fought to stop him from doing that, too.) Nobody is to blame for this virus spreading around the world. Well, China, but we’re not allowed to say that, for some reason.
Of course, now that he’s the guy in charge, Biden has finally admitted that nobody, not even a President, has the power to keep a virus out of the country and there is no federal solution to the pandemic, just as Obama was eventually forced to admit that there were no “shovel-ready jobs” after we spent nearly a trillion dollars to create them.
Even though Biden took office at a time when vaccines had just become available and we'd learned a lot more about COVID and how to treat it, there have still been more deaths under his tenure than under Trump’s (over 420,000 so far compared to 402,269 under Trump.) But I wouldn’t blame Biden personally for those deaths, although I do believe that this Administration’s open hostility to virtually all potential therapeutic treatments in its single-minded obsession with vaccination hasn’t helped. In fact, Sen. Rand Paul blames Dr. Fauci’s negative attitude toward therapeutic treatments for thousands of deaths every month.

And the government’s isolating lockdown policies and mandates that have contributed to rising depression, suicides and drug addiction are a separate lethal issue. But no, I don’t think it’s Biden’s fault when someone contracts COVID.
That said, it’s a stone cold fact that there have been more COVID deaths under Biden than under Trump. The fact that someone on CNN insisted that that’s “fake news” and those numbers are “completely wrong” is just further verification that they are accurate.

4. Let's Go Brandon:
A man who jokingly ended a televised phone call to President Biden by saying, “Let’s go, Brandon” (and Biden unthinkingly repeated it) has been identified and now says he’s receiving vague death threats. Because it was fine to call the last President “literally Hitler” and hold up a bloody replica of his head on Facebook, but it’s now illegal, immoral and fattening to joke about the current semi-occupant of the office. Almost as illegal as it was for a rodeo clown to wear an Obama mask (remember how jokes about Obama could also cost you your job and more?)
https://www.foxnews.com/health/covid-19-omicron-less-likely-hospital
(NBC News has now declared that mocking phrase a “right-wing slur.” Since they aren’t well acquainted with the concept of real fact-checking, let me assure them that when that chant starts at a football game, it doesn’t mean they’ve found an entire mega-stadium full of right-wing fanatics: https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/493393/)
The man says he’s not even a strong Trump backer or harsh critic of Biden, he just thinks he could be doing a better job and used his freedom of speech to express that in a humorous way. Poor guy must think he’s still living in the United States of America! Maybe if the FBI tracks down the people who threatened him instead of threatening him themselves, they’ll convince me that he is.
In the meantime, do you know who could really be doing a better job? The so-called “news media” outlets that immediately rushed to try to identify him from the moment this happened so that he and his family could be doxed and threatened by leftist lunatics.
There are also quite a few large corporations who could stand a reminder that we don’t live in a monarchy but in the United States of America, where freedom of speech, the right to mock our leaders, and not punishing people for things they had nothing to do with are all sacred principles of our founding.
While some parts of the nation and world are panicking over the Omicron variant, and demanding more lockdowns and booster shots, two new studies are raising questions about all the hysteria. A Danish study found that Moderna’s mRNA vaccine actually increases your odds of contracting Omicron after 90 days. And a study of symptoms by researchers from Harvard, Stanford, King's College London and Massachusetts General Hospital found that in most cases, the symptoms are so mild that people who think they just have a cold right now probably really have this variant of COVID.
And the media and political reaction to this news? Panic that we need to change “the messaging” to keep fear alive because people might not be terrified enough of the disease if they think it’s not really that terrifying.
