Aaron Babbitt, the husband of slain pro-Trump protester Ashli Babbitt, gave an interview to National Report about the government’s decision not to prosecute or even identify the Capitol Police officer who shot his wife to death and about the family’s wrongful death lawsuit.

Just looking at the evidence, and the comparison of the defense of violent leftwing protesters and prosecutions of cops who shot suspects who were attacking them or others, and the police killing of the unarmed and unthreatening Babbitt, it’s hard to draw any conclusion other than that there are two justice systems. Certain groups can get away with anything, while it’s open season on the other.

Here’s a salient quote from Aaron Babbitt, but read the whole article. If you disagree with this, then please don’t try to tell me you care about “justice” and police reform:

“There has to be justice for Ashli and we’re quickly finding out that the Capitol Police department just operates on with full autonomy and basically no rules. And the sad thing on top of that is the same people that are pushing these bills for police reform, they have their own private security in the form of a police department and they’re protecting that officer and they don’t want anything to happen.”

"If a stranger batters your door down with an axe, threatens your family and yourself with deadly weapons, and proceeds to loot your home of whatever he wants, he is committing what is universally recognized — by law and morality — as a crime. In such a situation the householder has both the right and the obligation to defend himself, his family, and his property by whatever means are necessary. This right and this obligation is universally recognized, justified and even praised by all civilized human communities. Self-defense against attack is one of the basic laws not only of human society but of life itself, not only of human life but of all life."

    Not my words, but true.

The Capitol Police defended our Capitol.

that woman should have never been shot, even if was an accident and the gun went off there still should be someone mentioned for his gun going off, i worked at a police station as a dispatcher and if officers fire a gun in city limits has to file paperwork for the reason why, granted it was scary but no one had a gun they were just trying to get in to the chamber, and yes they were angry but they could have just protected the cabinet
people and left, they wanted to let how they felt and since it was they people's house they wanted the cabinet to know how they felt

That shooting of Ashli Babbitt was totally unnecessary and inwarranted as far as I could see.
I think this officer needs to answer some questions as to his motive for shooting someone who had no weapon. This looled very suspicious in my book. Had she been a Black woman you know we would have seen rioting in the streets.

No one is above the law. The police officer committed a crime- Murder. He needs to do time in prison. If he didn't kill her on purpose, he should have made it clear. He did not.

If you don't want Americans who care about this country to lose faith, let's see those in office and in the bureaucracy held accountable and punished for their crimes.

I do not in any way condone the Capitol riot. But Mrs Babbit was clearly murdered. No, she should not have been in the riot. But she was an unarmed citizen and a US vet. There are other ways to constrain. The fake news vilified her. USmilitary and police should not be firing on US citizens, which is probably coming with this horrible administration.

Why will on one tell the real story of the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol Hill RIOT. Instigated and paid for (Antifa) by Pelosi and the democrats. Capitol police were notified days ahead of time, thus the Capitol police lowering the barriers and even opening the doors of the Capitol building for Antifa to lead the raid through the building. Capitol police and Nancy Pelosi are responsible for the death of Ashli Babbitt.
