In December 2022, Vice President and future presidential nominee Kamala Harris lamented to NPR, “Misinformation and disinformation has infiltrated information streams in our country.”
Does she even realize that the huge lies she spewed during Tuesday night’s so-called debate with President Trump are a prime example of this? She and her partners-in-crime, two shameless ABC NEWS moderators, are responsible for dumping tons of false information, much of it in the form of outrageous and long-debunked hoaxes, into the atmosphere. In fact, the moderators showed that maintaining huge partisan lies during a purportedly fair and neutral debate is as easy as A-B-C.
(Aside: This debate seemed so obviously rigged that even Democrat pollster Mark Penn, former adviser to Bill and Hillary, is calling for a full internal investigation. I’m sure they’ll get right on that, considering it’s likely the CEO of the company who would be implicated.)

So, in this environment, who gets to decide what is truth and what’s “misinformation”? Why, they do. They appointed themselves. They inhabit their own “Ministry Of Truth,” when, as we saw Tuesday, they’re wrong much more often than they’re right. Setting aside for a moment that we do have the First Amendment and free speech rights, this inaccuracy becomes the biggest issue of all.
They don’t care if it’s factual as long as it’s useful. (Certainly, much of what was censored during the pandemic turned out to be correct.) The left wants speech to be controlled because THEY are now the ones in a position to control it.
If they’re able to prevent the spread of what they label “misinformation,” we’ll be thoroughly misinformed. And, of course, we’ll never find out.
Kamala told NPR, “I fully expect and WOULD REQUIRE [emphasis ours] that leaders in that sector [media] cooperate and work with us who are concerned about national security, concerned about upholding and protecting our democracy.” Ah, when the rationale is “national security,” any and all controls are not only excused, but necessary!
And because the internet is global, this must be carried out on a global scale. Bill Gates said on September 5, “Every country’s struggling to find that boundary. The U.S. is a tough one because, you know, we have the notion of the First Amendment, and so, what are the exceptions?”
The NOTION of the First Amendment?? EXCEPTIONS?? We are in deep trouble if the inalienable right of free speech has been reduced to a mere notion that Bill Gates finds exceptions to.

So let’s take a look at how this applies to a particular story, the flood of Haitian immigrants into Springfield, Ohio, and how the topic was treated during the Trump-Harris debate. Watch how hard the current administration and their media scribes tried to kill this story.
Over the past few years, as many as 20,000 Haitian immigrants have been quietly relocated by the Biden-Harris administration to this town of 60,000, and they have more than reached critical mass. When President Trump brought up the reports coming out of Springfield about the suspected capture and killing of residents’ pet dogs and cats and the geese at a local pond, he was dismissed by his opponent and the moderators as a crazy man.
“...Look at what’s happening to the towns all over the United States,” Trump said, mentioning both Springfield and Aurora, Colorado, which is now home to a notoriously violent Venezuelan gang (another story that’s been suppressed). “And a lot of towns don’t want to talk about it because they’re so embarrassed by it. In Springfield...people that came in, they’re eating the dogs and cats, they’re eating the pets...”
By now you’ve seen the split-screen with Kamala’s phony laughter. If it’s true that many of her supporters are single cat ladies --- Trump gets more of the married cat ladies, I’d wager --- I wonder how they feel about her treating even the possibility of such a thing as a joke.
Muir “corrected” Trump, saying the Springfield city manager had told them there’d been no police reports of people’s pets being eaten by Haitians. Since the debate, the audio of a police report about the killing of a goose has emerged, as well as a photo of what certainly appears to be a Haitian man walking down a residential street while carrying a dead goose, although it’s been claimed that wasn’t taken in Springfield.
Technically, they have no evidence of any Haitian immigrant actually EATING someone’s pet --- and how would they necessarily get such evidence? --- but apparently numerous pets have disappeared, and we know they’ve taken geese. Here’s someone from Jamaica who knows the Haitian culture well and says that eating these animals and using their blood and bones in voodoo is part of their heritage. Again, in itself, this doesn’t prove pets have been eaten, but it suggests this is likely enough and not a laughing matter. Watch his compelling five-minute video here...

Suppose you’re a resident of Springfield, Ohio, and your pet has gone missing. You’ve heard of an unusual number of similar cases in your neighborhood, as well as eyewitness reports of Haitians killing geese. If you want to discuss this online with your aunt a few states away, Bill Gates is going to have to insist that your outrageous post be taken down immediately, and Facebook might have to put you in “jail,” because this is clearly racist misinformation that pushes the “false narrative” that immigrants, especially black immigrants, do bad things and we should be afraid of foreigners. (“Foreigners” --- there’s a word that’s been given an undeserved connotation; we hardly ever see it now.) This must be stopped, and anyone, even a former President, who mentions it must be treated as insane.
One can see why they don’t want this story to get out, because it calls attention to the larger plight of areas where residents are facing intimidation by “newcomers” --- that’s the latest woke term for immigrants, legal and otherwise --- and city services are being stretched to the limit by thousands of people who hail from the poorest nation in the Western hemisphere.
At least on conservative media, such as Jesse Watters’ weeknight show, we can learn more about this situation. He reports that with the arrival of Haitians in Springfield, violent crime skyrocketed 142 percent. Car accidents spiked as well, with the worst crash so far being one a year ago that took out a school bus on the first day of school, injuring 20 and killing 11-year-old Aidan Clark. The overcrowded city can’t keep up with the mess and is overwhelmed with trash. Clearly, the education system is insufficient to teach thousands of children (and adults) who don’t know English. And can you say “housing shortage”?
The problem has been building for three years, and we’re only now hearing how bad it is, thanks largely to Trump. Residents complained before city leaders on Tuesday, “Is there a cut-off point,” one man wondered, “I mean, for the population here?” Apparently, Haitians are still coming, or more precisely, being flown in.
One resident told “Fox and Friends” that “it’s like living in a dystopian nightmare. You hope you wake up and it’s 2019 again, and then you realize it’s 2024...What’s happening is the destruction of the smaller neighborhoods...It’s not about color, it’s about culture…and, it’s gonna cause some tension.” Tension is evident in this woman’s voice, perhaps because she’s also afraid to go public.
A couple of independent journalists, Tyler Oliveira and Tayler Hansen --- whose name you might remember from his J6 reporting --- traveled to Springfield this week to speak with residents. Here’s a must-read opinion piece in WESTERN JOURNAL that contrasts the media’s treatment of this story with what these actual journalists found.

A tired-looking Springfield resident told Watters that “there’s a lot of vicious rumors floating around” about pets being taken but that their geese and duck population in their two parks is “nearly decimated.” He thinks the reports about dogs and cats have been “a bit sensationalized” and has no hard-and-fast proof but has heard from others that it has occurred.
The residents just “want their safety, security and sovereignty back” after this “total upheaval,” he said. Food pantries are bare. The budget for a federally-funded medical clinic was “decimated,” and emergency rooms are overwhelmed. They need those emergency rooms, to handle injuries from “between four and six wrecks a day.”
Finally, “The city manager of Springfield [Bryan Heck] denied that [this problem] existed,” he said, “and I do appeal to him tonight on your show for a public apology to those that he told a non-truth to.”
We say someone should apologize to President Trump as well, as he was right that their city is going to Heck.
The interviewee had some unkind words for Kamala: She’s “kind of like that spouse that cheats on you and says she’ll stop when it’s your anniversary. All the things she’s promising to do, she can do now. She just chooses not to. She’s not the one for the White House...”

Keep in mind, if this Administration could suppress the story as they would like to do, we wouldn’t know about it at all.
