BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

Texas leads the way

By Mike Huckabee

Remember when Texas lifted its state facemask mandate and President Biden accused them of “Neanderthal thinking,” implying it would lead to a big spike in COVID-19 cases? Well, a few weeks later, how is that working out?

New COVID cases in Texas continue to drop and are lower than in states with strict mask mandates, such as New York, where the case rate has remained the same or higher. As of Friday, Texas had 500 fewer new cases than the previous Friday, the lowest 7-day positivity rate since the pandemic began, and the lowest level of hospitalizations since October 3rd. Maybe this is because while blue states have let politics and bureaucracy interfere with inoculations, red states like Texas have created efficient vaccination programs, recently hitting a record 342,849 shots in one day. The biggest COVID danger in Texas now seems to be from all the COVID-positive illegal immigrants that Biden is letting across the border.

I’ll give the last words to my writer/researcher Pat Reeder, who lives in the DFW area:

“FYI, most businesses here still require masks and most people are still wearing them, either to politely comply or voluntarily, wherever it makes sense (walking by yourself in the park, for instance, it doesn’t make sense.) We Texans aren’t idiots. We’ve heard all the rules for over a year now. We get it, and we’re perfectly capable of protecting ourselves without having Big Daddy Government tell us what to breathe through. But if you prefer a life like that, then please, please, stay in your nice safe blue states and stop moving here. We don’t want you to get a virus, or to spread the virus of incompetent, oppressive liberal governance to us. Every time I hear the phrase ‘Turn Texas Blue,’ it reminds me that things that are turning blue are usually dying.”

Good news, residents of Baltimore

By Mike Huckabee

Your City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that in the name of racial justice, reform, etc., her office will no longer prosecute “low level crimes.” These include drug and drug paraphernalia possession, prostitution, trespassing, minor traffic offenses, open container violations, and urinating and defecating in public.

Baltimore is run entirely by Democrats. Its last Republican mayor left office in 1967. Last year, Baltimore residents complained about the crime rate, bad schools and people dumping garbage in their neighborhoods, all problems the city was either unable to fix or refused to deal with. A great Republican Congressional candidate, Kim Klacik, drew attention to all this and told voters they didn’t have to keep putting up with it. They instead elected her opponent, Democrat machine politician Kweisi Mfume, with 73.8% of their votes.

At this point, I don’t know what it’s going to take to open the eyes of voters in Baltimore and other longtime Democrat-run cities to what the Democrats are doing to them. Now, in addition to the crime, gangs, bad schools and trash dumping, they’re going to allow open drug use, trespassing, prostitution, urinating and defecating on your neighborhoods while telling you they’re doing it in the name of reform and justice. Don’t forget to thank them before you reelect them.

State University violated Professor's First Amendment rights

By Mike Huckabee

The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals just dealt a long-overdue blow to the woke tyranny of universities, ruling that Ohio’s Shawnee State University violated a professor’s First Amendment rights when it reprimanded him for “misgendering” a transgender student.

The professor referred to the student as “Mr.” instead of the student’s preferred “Ms.” The court ruled that since the professor was a devout Christian, forcing him to mouth biologically inaccurate pronouns in contradiction of his religious beliefs was a violation of both his rights to free speech and freedom of religious expression. The ruling clears the way for him to sue the school for damages.

Also worth noting: the ruling was unanimous.

Everything Democrats don't like is Racist

By Mike Huckabee

Is anyone else beginning to suspect that leftists now apply the word “racist” to everything that they don’t like, that stands in their path to power, or that they just find too hard to understand? Math is now racist, the scientific method (indeed, all science, especially all that inconvenient biological science) is both racist and sexist, fossil fuels are racist, and on and on and on. Even the Senate filibuster is now “a racist relic of the Jim Crow era,” even though the Democrats used it 327 times in 2020, compared to only once by the Republicans.

Sen. Tim Scott notes that Democrats even used the filibuster to block his police reform bill that they claimed they wanted because it would help black Americans.

So many things are suddenly racist that we have to keep a daily running tally. And since we took Sunday off, now we have to catch up, so grab your notepads and your overpowering sense of white guilt:

First, let’s all thank the editors of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary for informing us that being colorblind can be racist. Yes, you may think you’re just trying to live up to Dr. King’s dream of judging people by their character and not their skin color, but the M-W Dictionary has added a new addendum to that positive definition of “colorblind”: “It often suggests a failure or refusal to acknowledge or address the many racial inequities that exist in society, or to acknowledge important aspects of racial identity."

It goes without saying that if you think in terms of race, you’re a racist; but now, if you don’t think in terms of race, you still might be a racist. Say, does this mean that “colorblind casting,” in which stage roles traditionally played by white actors are given to actors of color, is now racist?

Next up, sheet music is now racist. I don’t know how, since you only play the black notes and ignore the white part, but it just is, according to Britain’s Oxford University. They’re considering getting rid of studying sheet music as part of their “music education” curriculum because of accusations that they’re complicit in white supremacy, along with also cutting the study of all those composers from the “white colonial” era, like Beethoven, Bach and Mozart. What can someone seeking an education in music learn from them when there are Cardi B recordings to study?

Apparently, expecting music students to read sheet music is standing in the way of inclusiveness. Some might say that university level music programs really shouldn’t include students who can’t even read sheet music, but that’s just their white colonialism talking.

This sort of Marxist critical race theory garbage might be all the rage among academics, since, as George Orwell noted, there are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them (but then, Orwell was a white male so we can safely ignore him.) But here’s the reality that students pushing for this nonsense, as well as the administrators caving to it, should bear in mind:

Taking a wrecking ball to standards doesn’t create new standards, it just destroys the proven ones. All this does is tell any serious students of music that they’d better not go to Oxford now because they’ll get a substandard music education and everyone they might want to work for will know it. Just as any budding scientist, engineer or doctor who goes to a university that teaches that STEM subjects are racist, biology is meaningless, the scientific method is white supremacist or that 2+2 equals whatever makes you feel good about yourself should not expect to be offered a top echelon job in their chosen field.

These schools aren’t changing the word, they’re just ruining their own reputations and those of any students unfortunate enough to attend them. The university administrators may think they have to commit career suicide to appease the woke mob, but if you’re a young person looking for a real education in exchange for all those tuition dollars, you don’t have to jump off the cliff with them.

ICYMI: What's really going on inside our "woke" military?

By Mike Huckabee

Since the January 6 security breach on Capitol Hill, there’s been a great deal of talk about how to deal with those espousing “extremist ideology,” particularly within the military and law enforcement. We’ve seen ridiculously gross overreaction to the breach by Democrats in Congress and also have big reason for concern about the upper echelons of the military. POLITICO, certainly no right-wing news outlet, has been running stories on this over the past several weeks, and I thought it would be a good idea to explore a couple of these along with some of our more go-to sources.

A must-read story on real election fraud

By Mike Huckabee

Real Clear Investigations has been a valuable, trusted source for the Huckabee team, and it looks as though they've come through again, this time with an important story out of Missoula County, Montana, that could bring to light how pervasive voting irregularities really are.

Though many might not be aware, so-called “audits” that have been done in other counties –- for example, Cobb County in Georgia and Maricopa County in Arizona –- have been of relatively small random samples that wouldn’t necessarily turn up election fraud in one concentrated area. But in Missoula County, a Democrat-leaning county with only 119,600 residents, they recently audited ALL the mail-in ballots for the 2020 election and found “irregularities characteristic of large urban centers –- on a level that could have easily swung local elections in 2020, and statewide elections in cycles past.”

As John Lott, Jr., writes, “Political leaders and prominent media outlets have dismissed concerns raised by critics that such measures invite voter fraud. But could the election in small-county Missoula call all that into question?”

Last summer, then-Gov. Steve Bullock, a Democrat, issued a directive allowing counties to have full mail-in voting if they wanted, and Missoula opted in. Also, a court struck down Montana’s law –- the “Ballot Interference Protection Act,” which sounds like a mighty good idea –- designed to prevent ballot harvesting. Several Native American groups had argued that they depend on “ballot collection efforts” to vote. The ACLU had helped them with their case.

Apparently, all you have to do is say a given policy will “suppress votes” and you can get it abolished with the snap of a finger, no matter how easy that makes it to cheat. That's what happened here. There should have been some way besides striking down this statewide law to make sure the votes from Native American reservations were picked up, officially accounted for and counted.

The article explains how, on January 4, 2021, a team of volunteers came to be auditing all the county’s ballots and envelopes, with assistance from the Missoula County Election Office. “The audit consisted of both a count and a review of all ballot envelopes and comparing that to the number of officially recorded votes during the Nov. 3, 2020, election,” it says.

Details are in the article, but boiling their findings down, about 7 percent of the ballots cast --- more than 5,000 --- had “unexplained irregularities.” That doesn’t even include the ballots with yet another problem: “Dozens of ballot envelopes bore strikingly similar, distinctive handwriting styles in the signatures, suggesting that one or several persons may have filled out and submitted multiple ballots, an act of fraud.”

According to one auditor, of 28 envelopes reviewed from the same address, a nursing home, all 23 signatures looked “exactly the same” stylistically. Another auditor said that two “very unique” signatures appeared dozens of times.

Auditors had wanted to take pictures of the signatures, but Missoula County officials wouldn’t let them. Among still other concerns, the officials would not grant them access to video footage it claimed to have recorded to document vote-counting activities.

State authorities have expressed concern and plan to take these findings up at a joint hearing of the Montana Senate and House Judiciary Committees. State legislators are also going to try to get their ballot harvesting restrictions reinstated.

This story has nothing to do with Dominion Voting Systems, foreign hacking or any other so-called conspiracy theory, the truth (or untruth) of which will emerge in time. It’s about the ease of committing good, old-fashioned election fraud, pure and simple, through forged signatures and mail-in ballot harvesting. Good old cheating. If "irregularities" could happen on this level in Missoula County, Montana, that doesn't speak well of the results obtained throughout the country, particularly in key urban centers where motivation to cheat in the national election ran high. The Democrats’ “election reform package,” HR 1, actually makes all these things even easier, and that is by design. It absolutely cannot be allowed.

Coming soon: The DNC's Marc Elias is now trying to unseat Republicans.

I had received a bunch of BD wishes from FB from friends and pals from my past people I had not had the chance to visit with in quite while. Thru out my life I met with an outstanding bunch of people so different from myself that the encounters were amazing, fun, and educational. I grew up in a rural setting and my encounter with people may have been about 500 people. People of color where only in my future it took about 19 years to meet one, and only because he was basketball player from NY city we played BB together in college. He had taught me many new fundamentals of the game that improved my game and made it much more fun to play. My first encounter of the colored man was good and I brought him home for Thanksgiving I had asked my mom if We had one more seat at the table for him and she said yes when we got home the look on moms face was priceless she thought the boy I brought home was going to be white a remarkable time for sure, my mom was a Religious person and as usual very gracious. After the shock subsided a great dinner conversation took place as we talked about NYC some BB and the beauty of the evening was remarkable. Race was not discussed. The boy of color was not a hater but a polite and with dignity human being as I know personally many are. So MSM shut up about race and let people live in harmony it is possible. So many people are so uninformed about the Human Race ,the people need to chose people that are good to be with and the choice of good out numbers the bad, I withdrew from the bad discarded them as much as i could life is just better that way. People need to explore different cultures you will find great rewards like I have talk to people you may have more in common than you think and view which may be better than yours. Happy Easter every one look forward to new beginning starting to like each other the Communist will dislike you for that tell the commies to pound sand. Long winded I know but worth it.

Really frustrating. We've known for years that the Government has acted with political bias, lied, covered up and persecuted the innocent. The media has been able to promote bias without repercussions. We The People, have the ability, through Article V of the Constitution, to curtail all of the above. It's called the The Convention of States. We the people, did not vote them raises in salaries, give them income for life, give them free health care, free education to their children, nor to give them the ability to launder our money through "Government Programs" to their wives, children and friends. As I understand it through the Convention of States, We The People could implement line item veto, term limits and just say no. CLEARLY Quid Pro Joe did not get more votes than our President. We are the majority and I believe by a large margin. The frustration is that we rarely hear about Article V and the conventionofstates.com

How many people have died from Covid-19 after Biden has become president? No one mentions this anymore. Was on news every minute when Trump was President. This number should be released every day. Not sure where to find this information.

Really enjoyed "Texas Leads the Way" and my comment is that I recently moved to Wyoming and at least in the northern part where I live the schools were only closed for a short time. They have been back in school for the past 8 months and the State mask mandate was just lifted. It's a wonderful place to live. Yes, we still wear masks in certain situations but most folks are smart enough to be careful and enjoy living their lives.

Only good thing to come out of all this is the American Empire is crumbling.
Our nation is a Republic. Too many pagans and deceived Christians have wanted a European style monarchy with the divine right of kings established as the law.Now they have it with a puppet president and his mistress.
We now have one Republic that is Red and a mix of marxists ruling in chaos. Marx pushed this. Now the whole world sees all branches of federal and state governments are usurping God by unbiblical laws.
I believe God is showing us a glimpse of hell.
A sad state of affairs as we can not trust our own military or police in many areas.
Hard core racism is te order of the day as we called it when I served

Hello. I still cannot believe you are pushing the covid vaccine! Also, why are you not talking about other countries who are halting it due to deaths? Why? Why are you not talking about the dangers of an experimental vaccine and side effects people are having?!? I do not understand?!?!? Thank you.

One way to reduce crime in your city or state just is to make criminal activity no longer a crime. Brilliant thinking if no law and order is the rule your right to get rid of law enforcement, no ownership of vehicles, homes, assets take what you want no problem one good effect of no law and order you won't have to buy locks for your doors just walk in take the TV one is watching and walk out with it you might want to be concerned with a shot gun blast to your head no problem no law no order what a wonderful world Ms. Mosby has in mind. Where did all these great minds come from it seem a lot of shitty cities has them.

Hey Governor! Really the Democrats and their pet project, the woke crowd, need to drop all this nonsense and speak plainly about what they want. All the terrible white people rounded up and put on reservations like the First Nations tribes were over one hundred years ago? Should all of us white people, when we approach one of the „favored ones „ walk seven paces, bow then walk seven more paces and bow? That is what David did when he approached God-and God deserves that kind of acknowledgment! Thanks for letting me rattle Governor! I guess we won’t see sanity return until Christ does. God bless you and yours! Heidi

The rule of law has not existed for long time. The FBI is more corrupt than in the Hoover days. The only crimes they solve are the ones they create. The DOJ is corrupt. Any defense attorney will tell you the DOJ can indict a ham sandwich and will lie, cheat and withhold exculpatory evidence and the judges will help them in the process to convict defendants that are impossible to convict pursuant to the law in that circuit. This last election confirms all of the above and more. Only God can save America.

This is strictly my opinion but I feel the need to voice. A lot of attention is being given to the suspicion that Joe Biden most likely is suffering from dementia. The attention is only being given by the right and totally ignored by the left. I'm concerned that when Dems are ready to oust poor Joe they can fall back on the narrative that the GOP has helped to develop. Yes, Joe Biden is a liability, but there is no way that the Cackling Kamala is any better. In fact, she could be (probably is) our worst nightmare. Is the GOP playing right into another trap? Please advise GOP leaders to beware and look ahead to what is going on in the Democratic background.

I just have to comment on the GOP's lack of judgement. I remember all the hoopla about the integrity of Bill Barr, Durham, Mueller, Sessions, Ryan et al. only to learn that they are all feckless losers who only undermined the Trump administration. Ryan was a more effective tool for the Dems than his party. Who made that choice, and what the hell were they thinking? Think of what a great term Trump could have had without all the swamp headwinds. jack

Since voter fraud is seemingly rampant and happens everywhere, I recommend that the RNC adopt the tactics of the enemy. They have no regard for laws and in the process and I now have no faith that my vote was not cancelled by fraud thus disenfranchising me. If our state governement cannot be entrusted to enforce their own rules, I think all rules should be thrown out and let the biggest cheaters decide our elections like we just did. All rationale human beings know that Biden did not have 80 million legitimate votes. The only question is how many illegitimate votes did he get? Tens of thousands in swing states could affect an outcome as just proven in the last election. A revote in those states with enforcement of actual voting rules should be conducted even as an experiment just to see if the outcome changed. We suspect fraud, why not prove it?
