Well, this is reassuring: President Biden just got a big thumb’s up for what he’s done to America in his first 100 days from “Democratic” Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

She’s apparently so happy that Biden’s governing soooooooooo much farther to the left than she expected, she’s now willing to completely overlook the fact that the “children in cages” she was once photographed crying over are now living in far worse conditions and in far greater numbers than under Trump.
Two most surprising stories of the day

1. CNN admitted that President Biden’s constant mask-wearing when he’s been fully vaccinated (which he claimed is his “patriotic responsibility”) is contrary to CDC guidelines and is confusing the public and making people less likely to get vaccinated.
2. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admitted that the House can’t force House members or the American public to get vaccinated because knowing who is and isn’t vaccinated would be a violation of privacy rights.
Wake me up, I think I’m dreaming!

Over 13 months ago, after President Trump banned travel from China and Europe to slow the COVID-19 spread, Joe Biden piously tweeted, “A wall will not stop the coronavirus. Banning all travel from Europe - or any other part of the world - will not stop it. This disease could impact every nation and any person on the planet – and we need a plan to combat it.”

Over 13 months later, here was Friday’s headline: “White House to restrict travel from India,” due to the surge of coronavirus cases there.
So not only did Trump actually have a plan that led to vaccines and a distribution system which Biden inherited and is taking credit for, but the plan included travel bans from hotspots that Biden condemned but is now copying.
Further proof that it’s a lot tougher being the person in charge than it is criticizing the person in charge. But as someone who is now criticizing the person in charge, at least I can say that I didn’t stupidly attack the last guy for being right.
Update: Story To Make Your Weekend

In Vail, Arizona, hundreds of parents showed up at a school board meeting to protest the mask mandate on children and demand that masks be made optional. The board members didn’t want to listen and walked out before the meeting began. So under Roberts’ Rules of Order, the parents elected a new school board to replace them, which promptly voted to make masks for kids optional.
Since Democrats are always talking about defending democracy, I’m sure they’ll love this story as much as I do.
UPDATE: As great as this statement by the parents was, it must be noted that this "election" was not legally binding. They'll have to wait for the next real election to make it stick.
"Stagflation" returning under Biden

I’ve been warning for a while now about the return of that uniquely Democratic invention “stagflation,” in which prices keep rising even while the economy and wages are stagnant. We had it under Jimmy Carter and Reagan ended it. Now, Biden is determined to bring it back again, and I think it may be one area in which he can genuinely claim success.
While imposing a massive agenda of economy-killing leftist legislation, he’s also been doing things that will start prices rising, like killing the Keystone XL pipeline project. The effects are already starting to be seen in your wallet. For instance, gas prices are up about 18% just since he took office (although liberal "fact-checkers" insist it's not Biden's fault, it's just one of those pesky coincidences.)

But that’s not all. Check out the story at this link for a list of many other everyday items that are about to become more expensive, from soda to plastics to adult diapers.
Even as Biden is promising to provide everyone with everything they want for free, everything you actually use is about to get a lot more expensive. That’s just one of the reasons why Ronald Reagan observed that there’s nothing on earth more expensive than a free government program.
Our New Border War

President Biden’s failure to address the crisis he’s created on the border in his Congressional Address was just too much of an example of ignoring the incontinent donkey in the room, even for some Democrats. Sen. Mark Kelly has now joined fellow Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in calling on Biden to address the crisis and restore border security.

Meanwhile, if Biden is going to keep whistling past the graveyard he dug, others are taking action into their own hands. Four Texas border counties that have been overrun with thousands of illegal immigrants, including drug gangs, have declared states of disaster (another appropriate term for Biden’s policies) due to the imminent threat to their residents’ health, lives and property. The social services are overwhelmed, and residents are being assaulted, threatened and robbed.
One county judge said, “The governor needs to act on this, and he needs to treat it as what it is, which is an invasion of our nation. This is an act of war.”
Well, Biden wanted to reverse every Trump policy, and he has. If you agree with that judge, by reversing all of Trump’s border security policies, Biden has also reversed Trump's four-year streak of not getting America into any new wars.
