1. DAILY BIBLE VERSE
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

2. Mental fitness doubts about Biden are growing:
This isn’t a subject I like bringing up, but it’s like the elephant – or donkey – in the room that’s becoming impossible to ignore.
Rep. Ronny Jackson, who was the White House doctor under Obama, has written a letter signed by 37 GOP colleagues so far, calling on President Biden to take a cognitive test. Jackson said that Biden’s mental decline and forgetfulness have been growing more apparent over the last two years, and we need to know if he’s mentally up to the job. So far, the White House has refused any tests and dismissed concerns about Biden’s age-related mental decline, but a recent poll found that 48% of Americans have doubts about his fitness to serve.
Jackson said mental health isn’t a partisan issue, noting that he gave the same test to President Trump, and the American people need to have confidence in their President.
Personally, I’ve always been quite forgiving of politicians on both sides who suffer slips of the tongue or brain fade. I don’t join in the pile-ons because I know you can sometimes have a lapse of memory or a bout of fumble-tongue when you’re dead tired and have given the same speech two dozen times in one day.
But let’s face it: Joe Biden isn’t enduring the tough rigors of the campaign trial (in fact, he never did; he mostly “campaigned” from his basement.) He now has one of the emptiest schedules of any President in history. When he does appear, he takes pre-approved questions from hand-picked journalists and reads his speeches off a Teleprompter. And yet, we’re getting long, lost pauses and quotes like this, to ironworkers in Maryland:
“I don’t want to get going because I’d keep you here too long because you know all what I’m about to, what I’ve said, and you know what I’ve done, and you know what we’re doing, and I know what you’re doing.”
Okay…but what Americans need to know is, does Biden know what HE’S doing?
3. Biggest increase in 40 years:
The government reports that the CPI (consumer price index) rose 7.5% in January from one year ago. That sets a new high modern mark for inflation, the biggest price increase in 40 years.
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/consumer-price-index-inflation-january-2022
It rose 7.6% in February 1982 when the Fed was raising interest rates to put the brakes on stagflation. These days, nobody seems to be putting the brakes on anything, unless it’s to stop driving because they can’t afford gas. On a year-to-year basis, the rise in wages was more than off-set by the rise in prices, with real earnings declining by 1.7% since last January. That’s why inflation is called “the hidden tax.” You can make more money, but it doesn’t go as far, so you end up with less.
By the way, if 7.5% actually seems much lower than what you’re paying, you’re not crazy. The formula for the CPI has long been criticized as underestimating the actual rise in consumer prices. For instance, energy prices are up 27% from a year ago, gas prices are up by 40%, and used cars and trucks are up by 40.5%
4. Brandon Straka Update:
#WalkAway founder Brandon Straka must feel like Job for the incredibly heavy price he’s paid for speaking out and giving a platform to fellow Democrats who were disgusted with what their party has become.
Now serving a sentence for basically being on a sidewalk in DC on January 6, 2020, Straka spoke to Mark Levin and detailed what he called the “egregious amount of harassment” the federal government subjected him to. It’s still not over, as he continues to deal with a harsh sentence for unjust charges, eviction from his home, assaults on his spiritual and psychological health that nearly drove him to consider suicide, and the continuing threat of civil charges by a “social justice law firm” that’s accusing him of being “a conspirator to create January 6th,” among other nonsense.
When asked if he’s lost faith in the system, Straka said, “Yes, I have…but one thing that has not shaken in the slightest is my faith and my belief that America is worth fighting for.” You can hear the podcast at this link:

This is just a reminder of how vicious partisan politics have become, and how weaponized the once impartial federal agencies are. It’s going to take more than a slight change in Washington to clean this corruption out. It’s a Herculean task, and just as Hercules had to clean out the Augean Stables, Republicans, and anyone who cares about basic rights under the law, need to turn out in full force and flush out the manure this November and in 2024.
5. Cause of death revealed:
The family of comedian Bob Saget revealed the cause of his death last month at 65, and it wasn’t a heart attack or stroke, as expected. The “Full House” star went to bed in good spirits after performing a stand-up comedy show, but never woke up.
https://www.westernjournal.com/breaking-bob-sagets-cause-death-revealed-not-authorities-thought/
It’s been determined that Saget died of head trauma that left a bruise on the back of his head. There were no signs of foul play. He’s believed to have hit his head on something, possibly the headboard of his bed, thought nothing of it and went to sleep, not realizing it was serious and had caused a brain bleed that killed him.
Again, our prayers and sympathies are with his family. This story is a chilling reminder that if you suffer a head injury, even if you think it’s minor, err on the side of caution and see a doctor immediately.
6. Intent:
A lot of Republicans are furious with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for siding with the Democrats in labeling the January 6th Capitol riots as “a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election,” rather than what it actually was: a relative handful of unarmed yahoos who got carried away, rioted and had to be forcibly removed (a fairly common occurrence among leftists, who tend to get released without charges the next day.)
But why would McConnell go along with the Democrats’ hysterical claim that that three-hour donnybrook was a serious, organized attempt to overthrow the federal government? Robert Spencer at PJ Media thinks the intent of the long game is becoming clear: so they can use the 14th Amendment ban on “insurrectionists” holding office to keep Trump from running again, and conveniently, to force out conservative Congress members who called for pausing the Electoral Vote certification until allegations of election irregularities were investigated.
For the record, that Amendment was aimed at Confederates who actually went to war against the federal government, and even then, it wasn’t always enforced. Now, some on the left are seriously talking about using it to ban people who voice suspicions of election procedures from office. I guess if the DHS is going to call you a terrorist for questioning the government, it’s not much of a stretch to declare you an insurrectionist, too.
So at the risk of being labeled an insurrectionist terrorist (or terrorist insurrectionist), let me just say this: Vote these people out of office. In a free country that wants to stay that way, they do not deserve to be within 500 yards of any levers of power.
7. Going Down:
There aren’t many ways in which Joe Biden can boast of being a superlative President, but there are few Presidents in history who can match this accomplishment: After just over one year in office, the Real Clear Politics average of polls shows that his approval rating has now dropped below 40% to 39.8%. His disapproval rating is at 54.4%. That’s getting into the same approval rating territory as cholera and cheese with fuzz growing on it.
But can it get even lower? RCP shows that on individual issues, Biden’s approval is at 38.3% on the economy, 37.2% on foreign policy, 33.3% on immigration and 27.6% on whether the country’s going in the right direction. So, Magic 8-Ball says…”Signs point to yes.”
8. A List of Terrorists:
Since the DHS has decided to declare people who spread “misinformation” about COVID as terrorists, blogger Steve Kirsch has done them a patriotic service by compiling a list of said terrorists and describing the ways in which they’ve harmed the public with their misinformation. It’s quite a list, so check it out. You’ll recognize a lot of the names, including Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates, Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo and many more, as well as such well-funded terrorist organizations as Facebook, Twitter, CNN and Google.
9. White Privilege: Yellow Face Or “Thumbs Up” Emojis:
Are you old enough to remember when National Public Radio used to be associated with smart people? Well, to prove how long ago that was, NPR is taking flak over a woke-scold article on its website, warning people that if they use yellow face or “thumbs-up” emojis, they may think they’re being racially neutral, but they’re actually showing “white privilege” by not using darker emojis.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/npr-roasted-white-privilege-emojis
But what if you don’t use the yellow skinned emojis? Does that mean you’re prejudiced against the Simpsons? This is a jarringly juvenile article that sounds as if a group of sixth graders have been listening to too much public radio.
Apparently, NPR is now being run by Nancy Pelosi’s grandchildren. Or possibly AOC.
10. Feel-Good Story:
Here’s a feel-good story that coastal and DC political and media elites should be forced to watch, for their own good and that of their constituents and viewers:
https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/new-york-man-bicycling-50-states-oklahoma-proud-again
Bob Barnes, a former Uber driver from Syracuse, New York, set a goal for himself to bicycle to all 50 states in one year. He said it’s opened his eyes to some realizations that hit him particularly when he biked through state #23, Oklahoma. He was sleeping in his tent by an off-ramp on a chilly night when someone approached. He thought it was the police, but it turned out to be two teenagers, offering him food and blankets.
He said he’s discovered that America is not like what you see online or on TV (no kidding?!) The people have a giving spirit. They come up to you and offer help, even if you don’t ask for it. He noticed that the capital, Oklahoma City, was beautiful, sparkling clean and quiet. A lot of capitals were like that. He was even able to go into the Capitol Building during a legislative session and look around (funny, in DC, that’s insurrection.)
Barnes said he realized that America is "very consistent, and we’re all the same…I’m starting to feel proud again. It’s not that I really wasn’t, it’s just that you can expect the same type of thing everywhere you go."
This is what I tried to tell the elites who look down on “flyover country” from their CO2-spewing private jets in my book “God, Guns, Grits and Gravy” and keep trying to divide us by race, class, religion or whatever. You think you’re ruling or informing a nation of Neanderthals that you never even visit. But there’s hardly a working person in America who doesn’t have more sense and know more useful skills than most politicians or TV anchors (remember Bill DeBlasio trying to describe what a farmer does?)
Barnes says he’s looking forward to visiting his next state capital, Little Rock, Arkansas. Bob, I can assure you that you’ll also find incredibly friendly, generous people there. You’ll also find that it’s quiet, clean and beautiful. And be sure to visit the Capitol building. It’s just like the one in Washington, only on a smaller scale and not filled with lunatics.
