Remember the Raskin family in your prayers

Maryland Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin and his wife Sarah released a heartbreaking statement announcing the death of their 25-year-old son Tommy, a Harvard Law student. No cause of death was given.

There is no worse tragedy than for parents to lose a child. This is a time for putting political differences aside. We offer our sincere sympathies to the Raskin family and hope you’ll remember them in your prayers.

Five Historic Achievements

As we all celebrate the end of 2020, here’s a reminder that it wasn’t all bad. Tyler O’Neil of PJ Media counts down five historic achievements of President Trump in 2020 that will keep bearing dividends long into the future.

Ten Worst Governors

Looking back, here’s a list of 2020’s Top 10 Worst Governors. Biggest surprise: neither Gavin Newsom nor Andrew Cuomo made #1. But there’s always next year.

And while we’re at it, here are the Ten Worst Mayors of 2020. Biggest surprise: Bill DeBlasio didn’t make #1.

Refreshing to hear

A lot of people who had nothing to do with the rapid development of a COVID-19 vaccine – and who mocked President Trump for saying it would happen – are now brimming with suggestions for who should get it first: other nations, non-whites, “essential workers,” and of course, themselves (we all know how essential Democrat politicians are.) That’s why it was so refreshing to hear what Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in explaining why he would not cut the line to get the vaccine before Florida’s elderly population does:

"I’m willing to take it, but I am not the priority, they’re the priority. I’m under 45. People under 45 are not going to be first in line for this, so when it’s my turn, I will take it. I want my parents, our grandparents to be able to get it. I’m an elected official, but whoop-dee-doo. At the end of the day, let’s focus where the risk is."

"I'm an elected official, but whoop-dee-doo" is not merely the quote of the day, in a year in which too many elected officials acted as if they were kings, gods or dictators, it might be the quote of the year.

Warning to Los Angeles

Welcome to life in a city with criminal-coddling, leftwing city attorneys. Warning to Los Angeles residents: this is your future. Warning to everyone else: this is your future if you aren’t vigilant over who you vote for in local elections.

"No Realistic Path"

By Mike Huckabee

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the idea of a blanket $2000 coronavirus relief payment has “no realistic path” to approval in the Senate.

He’s linked it to President Trump’s other two demands (repealing Section 230 that protects Big Tech companies from lawsuits and an investigation of election irregularities), which Democrats oppose for mysterious reasons. So it looks as if the $2000 checks are stalled for now.

McConnell also says that with the national debt skyrocketing, we need to pass targeted relief to people who really need it, not turn on a “fire hose” of borrowed money that will end up in the hands of the Democrats’ rich friends who don’t need the help.

FYI: Here are a couple of examples of what happens when the government starts throwing around money without paying close attention to where it’s going.

It’s like the episode of “The Simpsons” where Bart and Lisa get a job and their paycheck is sent to their Grandpa. They ask him, didn’t he think it was odd when checks started arriving for no reason? He said, “I thought it was because the Democrats were back in power.”

I’ve had my differences with Sen. Ted Cruz, but I have to admit that what he said to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ face in the Senate yesterday should be quoted far and wide and etched into stone for eternity.

    It is proven now that the majority of elected people, government employees, members of the administration, virtually all state officials, the FBI, etc., are traitors. Nobody except an attorney has been held accountable for the massive number of felonies committed both in the hoaxes and the election. We are no longer a free republic.

    In regards to "No Realistic Path"- Many people listen to main stream media who make Mitch and the Republican Party the bad guys who are keeping the $2,000 stimulus checks from folks who are in dire need of the stimulus money. To this point I think this may well risk gaining Republican seats in the Senate. And this could end up being a very long term loss for the Republican Party and our nation and a long term gain for the democrats ( and huge loss for our nation ).

    As the ten worst Governors and Mayors of States and Cities Audition for favor in the CCP what will happen to these Louts if the CCP doesn't prevail in its pursuit of overthrowing the US Government? What if Harris and Biden are not allowed to take the Oval Office due to the fraudulent election? The action of these Louts shows that CCP will win in its takeover. They will be just fine in the Harris and Biden regime. I pray this does not happen and all the abuse against the Constitution has severe consequences and the United States can regain some Unity. As our country is today we have Communist States and Constitutional States Lockdowns are alive in the Communist states and Freedom is alive in the the States that governed by Constitutional law I love the Constitution and reason the United State is the country that provides Faith Hope Charity that no other country can offer. The people are fighting to keep its values alive just not hard enough. The Elderly know what is at stake but are weaken by old age the Young also know what is at stake but the heart is a bit weak courage to take a stand may cost a job or fear of being called one of the Left's pet names for warriors the answer is to ignore the lockdowns demand the vaccines get administered to all that want one keep this country Constutional.

    The Democrats back in power- five very frightening words. The Democrat-Socialist want "power" and "rule"over the peasants, the Deplorables, the Trump supporters, Patriots who love their guns and their religion as stated by thy fraud Obama!! If Biden-Harris are actually sworn in this nation will have inherited the most corrupt, dispicable, left liberal anti-American leadership in the history of this country, just above that anti-America fraud Obama. The Democrats KNOW they stole the election and they don't care. The MSM knows they are the lying propaganda arm of the Democrats and they don't care! They (Democrats and MSM) are the Enemies of the People and never forget it. If the Democrats get away with stealing this election and it appear that they soon will, we as a nation are ruined and destroyed. And if the coward traitor Republicans let them get away with it and they (Republicans) will never win another election, NEVER! and it will be much of their fault
    Pay attention Patriots and Conservatives on January ,6th and watch which Republicans actually speak up for Stop the Steal and which ones will be spineless, disregard the Constitution and allow the cheating Dems to get away with stealing this election.     A Happy New Year to you and your family. Spending a lot of time alone, a widow of 80, gives one the opportunity to think without distraction. I have reached a conclusion that the problems our country are unrealistic expectations. It was not so many years past that most people lived paycheck to paycheck but managed to put a little something away. They knew the value of a savings account. Many earned modest pensions from companies that would likely employ them for a lifetime of work. Over the years people have come to expect that everyone will advance at work even if just based on longevity and that if they do not, they move on. It was at the beginning of my lifetime that many died of infections and some of those were childhood diseases. Certainly during my childhood the scourge of polio was terrible. Now with antibiotics and vaccinations most of these issues are no longer a problem. It was not long ago that a diagnosis of cancer was a death sentence but today we see many remissions and even cures. In my youth we hoped for the big long awaited gift for Christmas or a birthday. We were not gratified with the latest and greatest thing hot out of the manufacturer. So we have come to expect cures, and good salaries, and every new toy available. Those of my generation and before did not have these expectations. And yet it seems to me that people enjoyed and appreciated life more than they do today. There was a time for work, and it was hard, and a time for play. Most especially there was a time for church and worship. Many say, oh there were all those people going to church and then sinning afterward. I see Mr. X in his pew with his family every
    Sunday. He is even a deacon. But I know he has a girlfriend on the side. I see Mrs. Y in her pew every Sunday but she is the worst gossip in town. The difference is that at least people knew what they did was wrong. Now, most children are not being raised to know the difference.. Yes, they know they should not murder or steal but the rest of it goes unlearned. It must be okay of it feels good. So now, folks have come to have great expectations as entitlements for just being born. It up to SOMEONE to fix all our troubles. You are special for just being you. Consequences as the result of actions or inactions are not part of our concerns, or really understood. Thus we become unhappy because we are not instantly gratified and we lack faith.

    Sir, I do not know when I started referring to Washington City as the Swamp, but I am the first I ever heard of calling it a swamp upwards of 10 to 12 years ago.

    Keep in mind, a heard of Baboons are call a Congress, just like ours. Baboons are the loudest and most vicious of all primates.

    It has been attributed to you, that Congress spends money so recklessly they make a drunken sailor look like Scrooge. This is an absolute Truism!!

    Since the Republican Party has gone to hell with the Marxist-Democrats we need a new slogan to go along with the Defund the Police slogan.

    I propose: Defund the Politicians.

    I will be voting for the Republicans next Tuesday (Yes! I am a Georgia resident - NOT a Carpetbagger). However, I bet the Marxist-Democrats will be counted a the Weiner. George Soros has already bought and paid for the election.

    Though I fully agree on the accomplishment that Pres Trump has achieved. Some of the other were missed.
    On the top should be the tax cut. It wasn't just the average citizen that did well, so did the corporations. Their lower taxes helped invest, expand, and hire more employees.
    Second should have been the building of the wall. Most dems think that the wall is racist and should not be built. The problem was, and still is, we don't know who is crossing on the southern borders. Since much of the wall has been built, less border crossings....imagine that?
    There is the fact that the pres walked away from the Iran nuke deal. John Kerry said it was a bad, but signed it anyway. Most conscientious, dare I say conservative, people would say, you go to be kidding, who signs bill like that?
    Next comes in getting rid of the obama era restrictions on buildings, water, oil, and coal. All those all but killed those industries.
    Lastly is the Paris Climate Change Accord. It is not, and will never be, about the climate. It's a big money grab by the leftist, and the rich nations pays for those nations that too lazy to clean up their mess.
