Last Full Day Of The Trump Administration

On this last full day of the Trump Administration, with his enemies going full-tilt crazy in lashing out at him and his supporters, abusing every last ounce of power they have, let’s take a moment to reflect on all the good things we owe to President Donald J. Trump. Victoria Taft at PJ Media has a good list of things we're really going to miss when he's gone…
Here’s the White House’s list of Trump’s accomplishments, which is pretty staggering…
And finally, PJ Media’s Stephen Kruiser reminds us the thing for which we owe Trump the most gratitude: preventing Hillary Clinton from ever becoming President. As he puts it:
“This great nation really dodged a bullet when Trump stunned the world and banished Granny Maojackets to Chappaqua to spend her days cracking open boxes of Franzia and pulling the wings off of flies. Yeah, we’re heading into some bleak times, but they’ll be nothing compared to what Mrs. Bill would have put us through.”
Another Lost Job

And yet another person loses his job for exercising his right to free speech to support President Trump.
This time, it’s renowned conservative legal scholar John C. Eastman, who was forced out of professorship by Chapman University in California, after administrators caved to pressure from their largely leftist faculty who obviously think "diversity" does not extend to diversity of thought and opinion. So if you have kids who were thinking of going to Chapman, cross it off your list immediately. The same if you are an alumnus who ever planned to donate money to them, and let them know about that.
Crazy Alert

Democrats must think we all have the memory span of fruit flies. While they’re trying to convince us that it’s treason to suspect that the 2020 election wasn’t as trustworthy as a boatload of Boy Scouts, their 2016 standard bearer is STILL claiming that Trump’s 2016 election wasn’t legitimate.
Hillary Clinton, the same woman whose bogus, leaked oppo research sparked a two-year, $30 million pointless investigation that found zero evidence of Russian collusion by the Trump campaign has now pulled another groundless TDS fantasy out of her pantsuit. She wants to pull Trump’s phone records to see if he was talking to Vladimir Putin while the Capitol riot was going on, and then launch a divisive, expensive, pointless (my adjectives) investigation a la the 9/11 Commission (Note to Hillary: we had that commission because 9/11 actually happened.) And Nancy Pelosi agrees, which certainly means it must be a legitimate concern and not a crackpot accusation born out of insane partisan rage.
Hillary claims that those who took part in the riots were “Putin’s puppets.” Once again, I see zero connection between Russia and some idiots acting like idiots at the Capitol. But Mrs. Clinton, if you really want to find someone who definitely colluded with Russians to try to undo a legal election, launch a coup against the duly elected US President and destroy faith in the American electoral system, then I suggest you gaze into the nearest mirror.

We finally found out what it takes to get a leftwing extremist banned from Twitter. And only 12 days after Twitter banned the President for not really doing what this guy is charged with actually doing.
Clown Noses Again

You’ve got to hand it to the left: just when you think they can’t get any more ridiculous, they find a way to put on two clown noses at once.
Latest example: after coming up with the slanderous canard that Americans only supported Trump because they were “white supremacists” (it’s so much easier to hurl a ludicrous charge like that than it is to launch a self-examination of your own policy failures), they noticed the inconvenient fact that Trump has a growing number of supporters of all races. What to do?! As usual, a university professor came to rescue with a jaw-dropping column in the Washington Post, accusing minorities who support Trump of being part of a new racist threat: “multiracial whiteness.”
Yep, you read that right. "Multiracial whiteness," which reminds me of "jumbo shrimp." I wonder if it was inspired by Joe Biden telling blacks that if they didn’t vote for him, they “ain’t black”?
This is not in any way meant to defend the handful of actual radicals she cites, but Trump got millions of votes from blacks, Hispanics, Asian-Americans, Indian-Americans, Iranian-Americans and other ethnic groups. Are they all closet white supremacists? Or does she think that believing people should be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character is now white supremacist rhetoric?
George Orwell was right: there are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them.

Open Letter To Block Trump Memoir

Two-hundred-fifty writers and other members of the publishing industry signed an open letter, calling on publishers not to publish any book by President Trump or anyone who worked with him because it would be rewarding “evil.” Can you tell that some of these people are most famous for comic books and juvenile fiction?
Here is the purple prose dispensed by these alleged people of letters to justify denying Trump and anyone who worked with him the right to free speech and freedom of the press (my comments are in parentheses):
“…No participant in an administration that caged children (they weren’t “caged,” they were separated from adults at the border for their own safety, a longstanding government policy, in detention areas built under Obama, who, as I recall, got a pretty fat publishing deal himself), performed involuntary surgeries on captive women (I have no idea what this even means), and scoffed at science as millions were infected with a deadly virus (so you develop a vaccine in record time by “scoffing at science”?) should be enriched by the almost rote largesse of a big book deal (nice of them to admit that the giant advances given to the Obamas and Clintons were basically political bribes from the publishing industry at stockholder expense.)
“And no one who incited, suborned, instigated, or otherwise supported the January 6, 2021 coup attempt should have their philosophies remunerated and disseminated through our beloved publishing houses” (Trump did not do any of those things, but I could name a lot of Democrats who promoted both riots and a coup against the President going back four years. Can we cancel all their publishing deals, too? It would save a lot of poor, innocent trees from dying for no good reason.)
If this is what passes for our literary intelligentsia, it’s no wonder publishing is considered a dying industry.
