1. DAILY BIBLE VERSE

Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked;

protect me from the violent,

who devise ways to trip my feet.

Psalm 140:4 NIV

If you have a favorite Bible Verse you want to see in one of our newsletters, please email [email protected].

2. Twitter’s approved users continue to share hate:

Iranian officials (you know, the people we can trust with a nuclear program) are sharing an animated revenge video online depicting the assassination of former President Trump. But that’s no more than I’d expect of them. Here’s the really newsworthy part: Twitter is letting them share it.

https://www.newsmax.com/politics/twitter-iran-trump-assassination/2022/01/13/id/1052288/?ns_mail_uid=f9499f75-6002-4e3d-a92a-60873ae4921d

That’s right, the same super-responsible social media platform that won’t let you mention Hunter Biden’s laptop or question Dr. Fauci’s latest settled science pronouncement is hunky-dory with letting Iran promote the assassination of a former American President. As Florida Rep. Greg Stuebe pointed out, Twitter banned Trump for allegedly inciting violence by calling for peaceful protest, but they don’t ban Iranian officials for calling for Trump’s assassination.

Gee, I wonder what the difference is that makes this NOT violate Twitter’s “Terms of Service?”

3. You should read this:

Here's why you should be concerned and ready to speak out against a small government agency’s plans to compile a database about the religious beliefs of people who request religious exemptions from COVID vaccinations:

https://www.westernjournal.com/bone-chilling-feds-launching-system-collect-religious-information-unvaccinated-americans/

As with all aspects of government, if you think this intrusion into and monitoring of your personal religious beliefs and medical decisions won’t grow exponentially over time, then you don’t know our government.

And since it’s always good to turn your opponents’ tactics against them, this article points out that African-Americans are both the group most likely to be unvaccinated and to hold strong religious beliefs, so the Biden Administration’s decision to test this policy in an agency with a majority black staff smells a lot like racism.

4. “Huckabee” Preview:

Join me tonight for a can’t-miss new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN! I’ll be talking with actor/director Nick Searcy about his eye-opening new documentary on the January 6th Capitol riot (it’s not the story we’ve been told.) Comedian Karen Knotts will share personal memories of her TV icon dad, the great Don Knotts of “The Andy Griffith Show.” We’ll have plenty of laughs with “In Case You Missed It” and amazing comic ventriloquist David Pendleton. Then get ready for some terrific music from Canadian country stars High Valley.

It all gets rolling tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and Sunday at 9 EST/8 CST, on TBN. To find out how to watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit https://www.huckabee.tv and click on “Channel Finder” on the top menu. You can stream previous episodes, highlights and online-only “Digital Exclusives,” including extended interviews, “In Case You Missed It” and “Facts of the Matter” segments, plus extra performances by our great musical and comedy guests and links to all their sites, at https://www.huckabee.tv. You can also find past shows, highlights and digital exclusives on YouTube and my Facebook page.

5. News briefs:

Another shoe (a very expensive custom-made loafer, I assume) may be about to drop in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, judging from this story out of Great Britain. The Queen is not amused.

When one “Made In China” stamp is worth a thousand-word essay:

First the Republicans demand honest elections, and now they want fair presidential and vice presidential debates? Is there no end to the ways they’re trying to assault democracy?!

Amid all the discouraging and divisive news, here’s a much-needed story about how the body of Christ overcomes the tribalism that’s threatening America.

6. As more are charged, what is "seditious conspiracy"?:

This is a premium story, part of our new, "Free Speech Edition" on Substack.com.  To subscribe go here.

We’re learning more about some of the individuals who make up the small group now charged with seditious conspiracy in the events of January 6. As rare and serious as this charge historically has been, it seems the bar is set pretty low among today’s leftists who jump at the chance to charge conservatives. Veteran defense attorney Joel Hirschhorn said sedition “is the crime of creating a serious disturbance, violence against lawful civil authority with intent to overthrow the government.” OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT. Let’s examine how this charge applies to what happened that day.

7. New Book

This week, Sean Hannity had an exclusive interview with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, who was targeted by the Mueller investigation. He has a new book about the experience called “Political Prisoner.” You can watch it all here:;

https://video.foxnews.com/v/6291532414001#sp=show-clips

Sample quote: “The people pushing the January 6th allegations are the very same…ones (who) for four and a half years refused to recognize the results of the 2016 election.”

8. Airlines investigation:

American Airlines is investigating a pilot after a liberal passenger snapped a photo of his bag that had a “Let’s Go, Brandon” sticker on the buckle and tweeted a complaint on Twitter.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/madelineleesman/2022/01/10/american-airlines-pilot-under-investigation-over-lets-go-brandon-luggage-tag-n2601637

Reminder: American is also the airline that allowed employees to wear BLM pins but banned them from wearing anything that showed support for the police. It appears that American Airlines thinks that freedom of speech runs in only one direction: to the left. Maybe it’s time they considered changing their name.

    I have been following you for years and agree with you on most things. I am only on social security and cannot sign up for your new news endeavor. If I signed up for all the worthwhile news that charges only a few dollars I would not eat. I am sorry I cannot do that.
