Obvious Question
By Mike Huckabee
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler was asked what should be an obvious question, if the media weren’t DNC lapdogs and everyone else too intimidated to say what they’re really thinking: does he think that maybe those Trump supporters who rioted in the Capitol thought they could get away with it because of his precedent of letting violent Antifa and BLM types riot, attack police and try to destroy a federal courthouse for months, as he defended the rioters and let them take over Portland while he criticized the federal officers?
Wheeler did not take kindly to someone daring to voice what so many of us were thinking. You probably won’t be surprised to learn that he rejects totally the idea that he has any responsibility for making rioters think that rioting works.

Plumbing The Twitter Sewer
By Mike Huckabee
Twitter banned President Trump for allegedly inciting violence, even though he made no calls for violence. They’ve also banned thousands of conservatives for saying things they interpreted as violent, even if they weren’t. But David Marcus at the New York Post put on a hazmat suit and dived into what’s still on Twitter and hasn’t been banned and removed. Here are some of the things he found.
Hashtags for “Kill Trump” and “Assassinate Trump” that go back months…several sites where Antifa organizes its violent rallies…A tweet from a leftwing Portland journalist identifying Antifa critic/reporter Andy Ngo during a riot (he’s been physically assaulted by Antifa, so that tweet endangered his life)…Tweets from Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei branding Israel a “fake Zionist regime” and calling for its death…a page called “Pigs In A Blanket, Fry Em Like Bacon” that promotes killing police officers…and tweets wishing for Trump supporters to die of COVID. I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Aside from being vile, reprehensible calls for violence and death, what do all these Twitter tweets and pages have in common? Unlike Trump, none of them have been removed from Twitter.

Welcome News At The Supreme Court
By Mike Huckabee
While other issues have been dominating the headlines, the Supreme Court has quietly been making some welcome news. In a case involving privacy, free speech and freedom of association, the SCOTUS has agreed to hear an appeal by two conservative nonprofits of a 2015 case involving then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris.
Harris threatened the groups with hefty fines if they didn’t give their confidential IRS list of donors to her office, which has a history of leaking such information. They argue that in this atmosphere, that would expose their donors to threats and harassment, and that the state has no legitimate interest in demanding to know the donors of a nonprofit organization that has not been accused of doing anything illegal.
The most frightening thing about this: the person who launched the case is about to become Vice President, and the person who took it over from her is Biden’s pick to run the HHS and be in charge of all our health records.
The SCOTUS will also decide whether public universities can be held accountable for infringing students’ First Amendment free speech rights…
…and the SCOTUS has ordered Nevada’s Democrat Governor to respond to a lawsuit by a church that his restrictions on in-person worship violate their Constitutional rights.
Let’s hope that the Supreme Court will ensure that a little good news will occasionally be coming out of Washington over the next couple of years.
Twitter CEO Speaks Up
By Mike Huckabee
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tried to stop his stock price plummet by attempting to justify the banning of the President’s Twitter feed. But not many people were buying it, particularly when he said if anyone disagrees with Twitter’s policies, “they can simply go to another Internet service.” News flash: they tried going to Parler and Jack’s Big Tech cronies crushed it.
On that subject, though, there is still Gab.com, which has its own servers. It also now has Trump’s entire Twitter feed history, which it backed up and posted to Gab.
New Bans
By Mike Huckabee
And Snapchat have now banned President Trump. The most shocking part of this story is the idea that Trump would even be on Snapchat. I’ve heard him called a lot of things, but never a 14-year-old girl.

NYT Tech Writer Has Doubts
By Mike Huckabee
Even the tech writer for the New York Times is slowly, haltingly, hesitantly beginning to wake up to the Orwellian nightmare of Big Tech flexing its power to crush free speech.
Of course, she bends over backwards to excuse and justify it…she surely knows she can’t voice her worries too strongly, or she’ll be “cancelled” by her own paper…or maybe the scary truth is only beginning to seep through the thick cocoon of leftist groupthink in which all Times writers dwell…but the fact that she admits at all to starting to feel a touch of the willies over the ruthless power of unaccountable Silicon Valley billionaires should tell you how bad it is. This is like the moment in “Jurassic Park” when the people notice ripples in their glass of water that are their first clue that a T-Rex is stomping toward them and about to devour everyone in its path.
"1984"
By Mike Huckabee
If Amazon’s crushing of Parler was just a ruse to sell copies of George Orwell’s novel “1984” on Amazon.com, it worked. You know, while I strongly recommend reading that book (especially now,) you can buy it at any local bookstore. You don’t have to give your money to Amazon.
Another Ban You May Not Have Heard About
By Mike Huckabee
Twitter banned a post from the website Not The Bee (which posts news so crazy, you’d think it was from the Babylon Bee, but it’s real) because they claimed it “incited violence.” It was a screenshot of Twitter’s trending topic, “#Hang Mike Pence,” which they’ve allowed to be posted so many times, it’s…a trending topic! So by their own admission, Twitter is inciting violence.
Maybe Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey should go ban himself.
