Quinnipiac polls Hispanic voters on immigration

Funny, I was assured that demography was destiny and that the rising Hispanic population would soon ensure a permanent Democratic majority grateful for the Biden open borders. Those plans seem to be hitting a snag due to Hispanic voters having a pesky habit of thinking for themselves. According to a new Quinnipiac poll, Hispanics disapprove of Biden’s handling of immigration by a whopping 69%. And 41% say Biden’s not being aggressive enough in deporting illegal aliens.
Why, it’s almost as if people who followed the rules so they could become law-abiding American citizens don’t like seeing people who ignored those same rules being rewarded for it. Who could’ve predicted that?

Senate filibuster politics

President Biden is so frustrated at not getting his $3.5 trillion leftwing goody bag bill passed that he’s once again talking about doing away with the Senate filibuster.
Two comments on that:
1. If 52 Senators oppose it, doing away with the filibuster won’t save it.
2. He might want to think carefully about taking away all the power of the minority to stop legislation, since, God willing, the Democrats could easily be about 12-1/2 months away from becoming a minority for a long time to come.
The insanity only grows

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has started referring to the LGBT community (which then became LGBTQ, then LGBTQ+) as the “2SLGBTQQIA+” community. No, the “” aren’t a new sexual identity group, they’re just quotation marks…for now.
According to his office, which, like President Biden’s, apparently has to provide handouts for people to understand what the heck he’s saying, that keyboard finger exercise stands for “Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex and Asexual.” I think we might all be described as “questioning” after reading that.

One of my questions is, “Since there are at least 57 genders (at last count), how can Trudeau be so bigoted as to marginalize, offend and “other” the 46 genders whose initials weren’t included? To be inclusive, we need to create a new acronym that includes the initials of all 57 genders, plus any new ones that have been discovered since I wrote this last night.
To help people learn it, we could print it up on posters (at taxpayer expense, of course) and, naturally, put them into every public school classroom. Better yet, they could double as eye charts.
Blinding hypocrisy

Antifa watchdog Christopher Rufo points out the blinding hypocrisy of Time magazine’s David French, who described Trump sending the FBI to stop riots in Portland as the “death of local autonomy,” but Biden having the FBI treat parents at school board meetings as terrorists as good and proper.

"Zero"

Having failed to convince most Americans or a majority of Senators of the urgent need to spend $3.5 trillion we don't have, President Biden next tried claiming it would cost "zero." Now, he's claiming it's actually a tax cut.
What's next? Claiming it's both a floor wax AND a dessert topping?

This sort of thing may partially explain the latest Quinnipiac poll that shows Biden with a 38% approval rating and 55% saying he's not competent to do the job.

A long overdue discussion

This is a long article, but also long overdue. Two of the most prominent providers in the field of transgender medicine have started to realize that the politically-driven push to give surgery and puberty blocking drugs to gender-confused kids and silence any doctors who express concerns has gone too far. (Warning: it’s graphic in its descriptions of the Frankenstein-like surgical procedures these kids are put through and the sometimes gruesome aftermath.)

Some of us have been saying for quite a while that this is outright child abuse. FYI: It is impossible to change the sex that you were born to though surgery and chemicals. But this article provides some hope that it is possible to receive a transfusion of common sense.
