“I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order --- respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

President Trump tweeted this in response to the violence that erupted Wednesday at the Capitol Building, when some “Trump supporters” broke through barricades and stormed the building, breaking windows, getting rough with police in the halls, even entering the House chamber. As this is being written, news has just broken that one of the people who got shot in the melee has died.

Trump is right: we ARE the party of law and order, but I think most of us will agree that he needs to be a lot tougher in his condemnation of this. The same can be said of the video statement he released. Of course, virtually every news outlet who posted his tepid “go home” video had to editorialize, saying that Trump “repeated false claims” of election fraud. Facebook took it down.

So did YouTube.

Trump also tweeted this on Wednesday: “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”

Well, yes, Mr. President, but in the USA, at least those of us on the right, also demand that the Constitution be meticulously followed. Vice President Pence obviously was doing what he thought was right concerning his role in this. We may disagree with him –- numerous constitutional experts do, and Alan Dershowitz isn’t sure –- and you obviously disagree with him, but please, right now, stay out of that process and stop pressuring him.

Trump told his supporters to go home, but no reaction to this violence is complete without a total, vociferous condemnation. We all condemned the truly awful violence coming from the Democrat side this summer when their party and the media (but I repeat myself) failed to do it. In this case, it’s just as wrong, no matter who is behind it.

We are aghast at this.

Dear Mike, I recently turned 78 and I have not missed a National Election since I was old enough to vote. My first thought after November's election was; why am I waisting my time voting when the evidence appears to show that it was stolen from the Republicans. If the left gets away with it this time, we will never be able to have a fair election again in this country. Something has to be done to stop the left.

As to the violence in D.C., I am opposed to destroying property, but it is about time that Conservative's got mad and showed that they will not take it anymore. It was a big crowd that was mostly peaceful, with only a few that ruined it for the others. I would like to see peaceful protest from concerned citizens all over this country until our politicians start to hear us and do something to correct our concerns.

It is time that we pay more attention to those who we run for office. The people who run as Republicans in the future must get off from their rear ends and fight like President Trump does. Not just sit around hoping that the election will come to them.

Yes, I will continue to vote, but I am tired of watching the left break all the rules and no one ever ends up in jail. IT IS TIME FOR JUSTICE !

    Sir,
    I am dismayed and disappointed
    you blamed “Trump supporters “
for Capitol violence;without a shred of evidence! Antifa & BLM planned
    this to discredit Constitution,country loving REAL Trump supporters;
Sarah Palin has guts enough to say;”Stop blaming Trump supporters,
Find out who these people are”
Pray for family of lady killed;and for contesting of fraudulent electoral votes to continue.Pictures of BLM
Antifa faking being Trump supporters all over internet.

This was predictable. We have stood by and watched the theft of a presidency and now the theft of two Senate seats. I wrote to every Republican Senator. Most chose to duck and hide. Roy Blunt and my Congresswoman wrote back and both refused to take a stand or even acknowledge that this was not a legitimate election. I was on Rush's show today and called them out. Our elected officials are more worried about their jobs than the future of the country. Their plan is to certify the results and work with " Bobo Biden - The Commander in Cheat"
So now we can count on the courts being packed, millions of illegals getting the right to vote and social security, America will be a socialist nation and bankrupt soon. There is no path back. The choices we are left with are succession or armed insurrection.

74 million Americans out number Biden's dead voters, out of state supporters, non existent voters, etc. But guess who determined the outcome of these elections - those "categories." They cheated and we both know it.

They were not Trump supporters who stormed the Capital. They were Antifa. The FBI are on it but that doesn't mean anything.

Look closely at the rioters. They are Antifa and BLM infiltraters to make Trump supporters look bad. Video showing law enforcement removing barricades while one gestures for his followers to come in. Sad one young life lost but nothing new fir antifa. Easy to spot them. Pray for family of dead lady.
Pray for Trump and country and believe God is still in control!

I believe by looking at the photos that antifa is responding for this violence many different not look like typical Trump supporters at all!

Just seen on Victory Channel. Antifa were pretending to be Trump supporters and they broke into the White House. They even took selfies. Name on selfie was Philly Antifa.org . Don't think Trump supporters would act like that.

You’re doing a great job, you’ve become my favorite site. I am a conservative thru and thru, and our country is in trouble. President Trump has got to stop demonizing anyone that disagrees with him. I was sickened by his comments toward Pence, because no one has been more loyal to Trump than he has. Our courts have let our country down by not addressing election fraud, because I for one will never trust an election until this is cleaned up. No chance the dems will do it, they are the problem. Thanks for producing such a great site.

The conservative voice has been silenced by MSM and social media except on Parler. They are not heard. What is so different between the Civil Rights Movement and the MAGA movement? Congress should have followed Ted Cruz suggestion to investigate the fraud committed by the liberals on 11/3/20. Biden will never be a legitimate President. Not ever. For too long GOP and conservative Christians bent over backward to the demands of socialists and liberals for the past 80 years. If there is going to be violence, let it happen because it happens when Patriots stand up to say no to liberals. And many Christians are to blame for not fighting back in education for their kids. Too many Christians refuse to fight back. The fighting back, if any, started way too late. They should have started when Hollywood made movies that was devastating to the Church, in the 1920’s. You grandchildren will be lost to you because you did not fight for Trump. So it was on you too.

It's disconcerting to read your admonishment of President Trump. His statement was not tepid as you stated. He said what needed to be said and with just the right emotion.

I think EVERYONE was very quick to point figures at Trump supporters blaming them for the violence without evidence. In the videos I saw most looked like Antifa and looked very staged. I saw a video of Capital Police opening the gates letting people in. I saw videos of true Trump supporters saying they saw Antifa Charging the gates. I have seen flyers from Antifa encouraging their followers before this event to come dressed like Trump supporters. I am sure there were some Trump supporters in the mix but again MSM too quick to judge without doing their due diligence. Perhaps this was all stage by the left to make Trump look bad. Wouldn’t be the first time. Seemed a little to easy for them to break through the gates and get in.
We all want peace, the MSM needs to stop stirring the pot and creating more hate.

I was with them today as they broke through the barricades. There is no longer a reason for peace and civility because of the betrayal of our elected officials. Go Trump people go! I am a peaceful person. i was with them in spirit today! Perhaps it got some of the right peoples attention. Looking forward to the 2022 elections of these officials!

I'm so disappointed in the Republican party, in the (in)justice system. In everything. I am disappointed that you are coming across yesterday and today as being okay with the way things continue to move away from the Christian Patriots who hunger for justice.

Yes there should not be violent, however people are sick of what is happening. We see with our own eyes the fraud in states of ballot harvesting, bags of votes, people not let in to evaluate, people confirming they say it, people getting more than 1 vote mailed to them and many more things. I'm afraid our country is going down fast and our children and grandchildren are going to pay for this the rest of their lives. Our country has been changing little steps at a time and here we are today! It started years ago when I worked for GE and was told we were going to loose our jobs because they were going overseas. Then the next company I worked for came out with diversity. It just keeps on going to socialism. GOD PEASE HELP US IN THE US!

I agree that violence has no part in a protest, and it’s certainly unfortunate what happened in the Capitol today. I think conservatives are so frustrated, though, with all that the left has done all summer, with blatant voter fraud, with no punishment for spying on the Trump campaign, with Hunter Biden and Joe probably getting away with misdeeds in China. There is no hope for this country maintaining its proud and free way of life with the Democrats in charge.

I typically agree with your opinions. Tonight, perhaps my skin is thinned from almost four years if words having their definitions altered to reflect one’s opinion rather than fact. Your choice of “tepid” left me at odds with your overall assessment of President Trump’s admonishment of the violence of today. Tepid suggests our President is lukewarm regarding the violence. The Biblical reference of such ambivalence tells us Christ will spew such from his mouth. I didn’t find President Trump lacking in passion against violence. What many Americans see in our President is the result of betrayal the likes of which would defeat most of us. He’s experiencing the Lion’s Den right before our eyes and my heart aches for him. Those in whom he should be able to trust without reservation have seemingly betrayed him at every turn. I am dismayed and deflated by the America I see before me. I feel my faith shaken and question if this is truly God’s answer to so many of our prayers. Your editorial suggested that most of us feel President Trump should have stated his condemnation of the violence more strongly. Not me. He voiced it. Just like he voiced his disdain for white supremacy, he voiced his opinion and implored the protestors to go home. In the height of the violence, he spoke out. Contrast that with the Left’s lack of condemnation of any of the rioting and looting or the Open Season on our nation’s Law Enforcement and I don’t find your assessment accurate. He wasn’t “tepid”. Please don’t join those counting his words and finding him impeach-ably deficient. Now is not the time to hint at lack of support. He said the words almost immediately. How about applaud that? I pray the evil of the Left doesn’t find us here on the Panhandle of Florida. 61 of my 63 years have been spent in Okaloosa County, Florida. I can’t even imagine this beautiful place once the Democrats take over. I’m proud of what Donald Trump has done for me and my family. We are the working Middle Class some look down upon and the Left pretends to care for. 38-years as a nurse married since ‘75 to an HVAC man saw many changes in our finances. Obamacare literally decimated our access to care. Our premium went from $352/bi-weekly to $1144/bi-weekly!! Biden promises to bring that back on steroids. Please know that I am no fan of Biden for everything that administration did to us personally. So, when I get defensive of the man who has done all he could to reverse the damage, hopefully you see it’s not personal. I voted for you in the past. I believe you are a good and faithful man. I am just so, so tired of the subtle comments that chip away at support of our President. Perhaps you might have said it differently. But, he said it. The Left doesn’t need any help turning something genuine into something fake.
    Sincerely,
    Leitha Brogan

Twitter blocked his account so he couldn't be more direct. Immediately they call all of the protesters Trump supporters without evidence. There were emails floating about regarding Antifa members infiltrating into the crowd to purposely disrupt the crowd. Trying to blame it all on Trump. But all THEIR protests were "mostly peaceful" which we know was not true.
Over 100 voters in GA were all using a church address and claimed to be homeless- Never before such sleaziness to imply they were from out of town but didn't want to prove a valid address.

Ted Cruz was most convincing. I fully support his plan to have an emergency audit of the election results. Light is the best disinfectant. Let's do it! Let's see what there is to see. Let's put the evidence of election fraud on the table and examine it much more fully. What is the worst that can happen by doing that?

The worst thing we can do would be to sweep it under the rug, where the nasty, stinky mold of anti-American shut down politics will rapidly fester and feed the forces of tyranny and fascism.

I feel what happened Today at the Capitol building has been the result of people,we the people tired of the Lock downs. Tired of not being listened to by our representatives in both House and Senate!!
People are tired of Democrats not being charged with crimes we all known they were part of.
People are frustrated with the vote being tainted.
How does the People get answers??

I believe those so-called "Trump supporters/protestors" were not the ones who broke into the Capitol building and created violence today. I believe it was antifa/blm/other anarchists posing as Trump supporters. I believe all this chaos being blamed on President Trump and accusing him of attempting a coup/sedition is "cover" for the fact that is what the Left is doing right now. This is a color revolution and I pray God that the truth comes out, while at the same time, I don't know whether it will. I am sick at heart tonight...

I am sick to my stomach at this turn of events. Because the left will never let this go. I am also appalled but I saw some pictures on MeWe earlier from people who were there. There were definitely some antifa/blm thugs in the crowd who were the ones being violent.

Please check the photos of those that stormed the building. Many if not all of those that made it inside are Antifa verified by tattoo, or by previous photos showing their Antifa membership. This was a false flag and the peaceful Trump supporters do not deserve the blame for this, nor does our President.
I have photos of much of this and would be happy to send them to you if you would like to see.

There is a great deal of proof that Biden’s election is invalid, please don’t give up on our President.

    Thank you,

I have supported Trump from the very beginning even financially. But after his rally today I am through and so is he. He did so much good but has ruined his own legacy. Thank God he had only 2 weeks to go. Pence had stood up to him! Good man.
