President Biden goes all-in on radical transgenderism

President Biden has gone so all-in on radical transgenderism that he told an interviewer, “I don’t think any state or anybody should have the right” to ban gender-altering treatments for minors. He accused Republicans of opposing this quack child abuse because they’re “frightened” of “what they don’t know” (unlike Biden, who has enacted an entire agenda based on things he doesn’t know.) He even declared, “As a moral question or as a legal question, I just think it’s wrong.”

Well, it ought to be illegal, it’s definitely immoral, and there’s a growing body of evidence that it’s also medically indefensible. Much like COVID shots for five-year-olds, as Biden is pushing “gender treatment” for kids, other nations are turning away from it. The latest example is Britain’s National Health Service. They’ve just issued a report finding that in most cases, gender confusion in children is a “transient phrase” (appropriate term) that doesn’t persist into adolescence. In short, they grow out of it – unless irresponsible adults convince confused, vulnerable kids to permanently wreck their bodies with dangerous chemicals and irreversible surgery.

The NHS report also calls for a formal study of puberty-blocking drugs “with adequate follow-up into adulthood” (because there’s NEVER been one.) It even warns that even “social transitioning” (just letting a kid change pronouns or wear the clothes of the opposite sex) is not a “neutral act” and could have a profound impact on kids.

Then again, they’re not career politicians like Joe Biden. They’re only a bunch of doctors. Maybe they just find this frightening because they actually do know about it.

What happens when insane laws go into effect statewide

Across America, leftist “justice reforms” like doing away with cash bail and raising the bar on what crimes are actually prosecuted are turning blue cities into crime-plagued hellholes where gangs of thieves operate with impunity and businesses are moving out because they can’t deal with being robbed blind every day. Well, we’re about to find out what happens when insane laws like that go into effect statewide.

Last year, the Illinois legislature passed just such a bill, the ironically-titled SAFE-T Act, in just seven hours with no formal hearings, debate or public input. The mayor of Chicago suburb Orland Park called it “the most dangerous law I’ve ever seen.” Nevertheless, Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed it, knowing it wouldn't go into effect until January 1, 2023, after he assumed he would be safely reelected.

That doesn’t have to happen. Pritzker wants Illinois to be a haven for abortion, so let’s hope Illinois voters abort this approaching calamity by replacing him with Republican Darren Bailey two weeks from today.

Mockery for CNN

CNN is being deservedly mocked for an article claiming that pets are big contributors to climate change and suggesting that people feed their pets insect-based food instead of meat and keep “small rodents” as pets to reduce their “carbon pawprint.”

A Russian appeals court upheld WNBA player Brittney Griner’s nine-year sentence for drug possession, but with a slight alteration that could reduce it to about eight years.

The Biden White House said they continue to try every available channel to negotiate the release of Griner and fellow American detainee Paul Whelen, but Russia has not responded. Maybe they should try sending someone who knows how to make deals. But who?

This brings up an interesting topic that’s starting to gain some traction: if it’s offensive for someone to wear blackface or appropriate someone else’s race or culture, why are we supposed to celebrate men who put on women’s makeup and clothing and present themselves as outrageous stereotypes of femininity?
