1. Someone Needs To Look Into This…Like Now

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has produced a number of stunning undercover exposes that the mainstream media dutifully ignored. But their latest is such a 10-megaton bombshell that it can’t be ignored.

Project Veritas released a hidden camera video of a man they claim is Jordon Trishton Walker, Pfizer’s Director of Research and Development, Strategic Operations, and mRNA Scientific Planner. He’s obviously talking to someone he trusts, likely a former Pfizer employee. He says some things that sound straight out of a sci-fi/horror novel, like that Pfizer is exploring using monkeys to develop new mutations of COVID so that they’ll have vaccines preemptively ready.

He’s obviously aware of how bad this sounds because he also tells the person he’s talking to, “If we're gonna do that, though, there's a risk of like, as you could imagine -- no one wants to be having a pharma company mutating (BLEEP)ing viruses” and “Don’t tell anyone. Promise you won’t tell anyone.”

While the part about deliberately creating new mutations of the virus is what will (or should) get media attention, there are also several other eye-opening quotes that deserve scrutiny. Like this, which would get most Americans banned from social media for spreading conspiracy theories and disinformation if they even broached the topic: 

“You have to be very controlled to make sure that this virus that you mutate doesn’t create something that just goes everywhere. Which, I suspect, is the way that the virus started in Wuhan, to be honest. It makes no sense that this virus popped out of nowhere. It’s (BS).” 

He also admits what a “cash cow” these vaccines are for Pfizer, and how they aren’t held to strict scrutiny by federal regulators because of the “revolving door” between the FDA and Big Pharma. He admits, “It’s pretty good for the industry to be honest. It’s bad for everybody else in America…Because when the regulators reviewing our drugs know that once they stop regulating, they are going to work for the company, they are not going to be as hard towards the company that’s going to give them a job.”

This has sparked questions about whether the video was legit and if Walker really was a Pfizer executive. He seems to have no records online, but O’Keefe offered some documentation:

Bonchie at Redstate.com also has a good analysis that includes questions about Walker’s identity and a more charitable interpretation of the alleged monkey experiments, which still doesn’t negate the risk of them going awry and launching another pandemic.

Accusations this serious can’t be allowed to make a splash in conservative media then just be swept under the rug. If, as liberals often claim, Project Veritas is wrong, then let’s find out for sure with a thorough federal investigation. And not by Pfizer’s future employees at the FDA, but by members of Congress, preferably those who haven’t accepted campaign donations from Big Pharma as an inoculation against them finding and exposing the truth.

2. McCarthy Is On To Something

Speaking of federal investigations, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is keeping his promises to conservatives, and in some ways, exceeding them. He not only has kept his word to form committees to investigate the federal response to COVID and the weaponization of the federal government, but take a look at the members he’s appointed to them:

The Committee on the weaponization of the federal government will be chaired by Jim Jordan and include Darryl Issa, the two people you’d most want digging into that. And the Coronavirus Committee will be chaired by Brad Wenstrup and include Ronny Jackson, both of whom are doctors.

Wow, appointing people who are actually qualified for their jobs! Let’s hope this starts a new trend in Washington!

3. The Supreme Court Issues The First Ruling Of This Term

The Supreme Court issued its first ruling of this term, and it was a 9-0 ruling against making the VA retroactively award disability benefits to veterans.

There’s a one-year deadline from leaving the military for applying for disability. Adolfo Arellano filed 30 years after leaving and was rejected. He argued that his disability had kept him from filing. Supporters also argued that some disabilities can take over a year to manifest. But the SCOTUS rejected the argument, finding that the law was very clear in setting a one-year deadline.

I understand how this might make veterans and their families angry and frustrated, but the Court didn’t have much choice, as evidenced by the unanimous ruling. I want all disabled veterans to get the help they need whenever they need it. But if conservatives oppose judges who legislate from the bench, then we can’t get angry when they refuse to rewrite legislation to suit us. If veterans are suffering because of that deadline, then the Court has made it clear: it’s up to Congress to change it. Start letting them know that.

4. Good News For Free Speech

Good news for free speech and the right of doctors to give their best medical advice: a federal judge in California issued a temporary injunction halting the state’s new Assembly Bill 2098, called “Physicians and surgeons: unprofessional conduct” (as with most leftist bills, the name has no connection to what it actually does.)

The so-called “medical misinformation” bill threatens doctors and surgeons with the loss of their licenses if they tell patients anything that contradicts “consensus opinion,” or what the government has decided is the only approved truth. This came out of the pandemic, and we all saw what a stellar record of getting everything right that government “experts” rang up during that.

Doctors who oppose the law say it not only violates the First Amendment, it also prevents them from giving their patients their honest professional advice about what they think is their best course of treatment, if it varies from government dogma. As an indication of how bad this law is, the judge put it on hold just because of how it violated the 14^th Amendment and felt it wasn’t even necessary to consider the First Amendment. In short, there are as many reasons for why this law is awful as there are reasons to vote California’s Assembly and Governor out of office.
