FYI: As the story at the link explains, automatic soap dispensers were not created with white supremacy in mind. They do not detect the color of your skin to make it harder for black or brown people to get soap. This is something that actual college students at UCLA seriously believed, although I hope they weren’t engineering students.
Isn’t it about time we all washed our hands of these racist Critical Race Theory conspiracy theories?

Lebron James Weighs In On North Carolina Shooting

Wednesday in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, a black man named Andrew Brown Jr. was shot and killed by police as they were attempting to serve a warrant. It’s a tragic story; but as of this writing, virtually no details are known about what happened, and the bodycam footage has yet to be released. Maybe racist police officers gunned him down for no reason, or maybe he pulled out an AR-15 and opened fire on them, or it could be anything in between. As of this moment, nobody knows. Yet it’s already being treated as if it’s that first scenario: another senseless police shooting of an unarmed black man.
I am going to do something revolutionary here and not give a lot of unfounded opinions based on assumptions without facts. Lebron James just gave us a great example of what happens when you do that.
James tweeted out a photo of the officer who shot a black teenage girl in Columbus with the words “YOU’RE NEXT” on it. It’s unclear whether he meant prosecution a la Derek Chauvin or an implicit threat of violence of the type you should be responsible enough not to send out when you’re a prominent figure and role model who has millions of followers, some of whom might not be all that stable.
When James received blowback over the fact that the officer actually stopped that girl who was charging at another black girl with a knife in her upraised hand, and that he likely saved the other girl’s life, he deleted the tweet. When he discovered it had been saved and circulated, he accused his critics of using his tweet to create more hate and racism, adding the hashtag, “#ACCOUNTABILITY.”
I’m with him; I’d like to see people take more accountability for not thinking before they click that “Tweet” button.
It would also be nice to see the media take some accountability for pushing false and misleading narratives that inflame violence and racial divisions. Looking at you, NBC News.
New Survey Spells Trouble For Coke

Maybe Coke executives saw this new Rasmussen survey which found that 37% of Americans say the company’s stand against Georgia’s election laws makes them less likely to buy Coke products, while only 25% say it makes them more likely to buy. The “less likely” numbers include 52% of Republicans and even 24% of Democrats.

If you’re attempting to make any logical sense out of the current Democratic “leadership” of America, try to wrap your head around this:
It’s an unconstitutional imposition of government on the right of physicians to practice medicine when states bar them from giving unproven drugs and hormones or irreversible body-altering surgery to minors who think they’re transgender. But it’s perfectly okay for President Biden to force religious hospitals and medical practitioners to perform those exact same procedures against their consciences and their Hippocratic Oath.

Polls Show Biden's Popularity Is Plummeting

To listen to the White House media cheerleaders like NBC, you’d think that President Biden’s poll numbers show he’s as popular as Michael Jordan handing out free money. But Liz Peek at Fox News took a deep dive into the details of those polls, and they tell a slightly different story. I might describe it as a story about a lot of policies that Americans hate and a President who isn’t getting the blame for them that he deserves because the media are desperately covering for him.
How much longer can they keep plastering over reality, especially with the obvious disastrous consequences of Biden’s policies, such as the situation on the border? Hard to say, but it appears some cracks are already forming: 67% of respondents in one poll are dissatisfied with the way things are going, and Biden’s ratings on honesty and leadership are falling while the number who think he’s dividing the country has jumped.
The good news: I think the day is fast approaching when all Americans can come together to agree on at least one thing: Joe Biden is really dividing the country.

In fact he fought in WWII while my father fought in the Italian Cavalry. My grandfather helped us come to this county, and I'm so grateful he did. Lately, I believe he would be spinning in his grave at Ft. Logan National Cemetery if he could see the evil taking over our country.
