DAILY BIBLE VERSE
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Appeasing Iran will never work
Speaking of moronic and dangerous Middle East policies, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps put out a video called “When Will Iran’s Sleeping Warheads Awaken.” The video said, "the nuclear facilities of Fordow have been built deep under mountains of Iran and are protected against trench-busting bombs and even nuclear explosion… all infrastructures required for nuclear breakout have been prepared in it." (Wait, I thought we were assured by the best and the brightest people that Iran was complying with all the restrictions of the Obama nuclear deal and only enriching uranium for peaceful, energy-generating purposes?)
The video warns that Iran can now develop nuclear bombs in a compressed amount of time, and "if the US or the Zionist regime (Israel) make any stupid mistakes," they have the capability of “turning New York into hellish ruins.”

It’s ironic that the same Democrats whose policies have allowed Iran to build nuclear weapons facilities under our noses have already beaten them to the punch in turning New York into hellish ruins.
Maybe this threat will finally wake up the comatose Biden Administration as to the foolishness of trying to appease Iran. But failing that miracle, I hope and pray that Israel is prepared to deal with it.
Negotiations with Russia continue
Here’s the latest on the negotiations with Russia to get WNBA player Brittney Griner and Marine veteran Paul Whelan released from prison and returned home. It seems that Russia thinks trading two railroaded Americans for only one “Merchant of Death” arms dealer isn’t a good enough deal, so they also want Germany to release a former Russian spy agency colonel who’s in prison for murder. That offer is reportedly not being considered.
While I pray that both of these Americans will return home safely, I have to admit I was struck by Griner’s complaint that the Russians didn’t even read her her rights when they arrested her for cannabis oil possession.
Is she not aware that reading people their Miranda rights is an American thing? It’s one of the many rights that everyone enjoys in this country, but not elsewhere. It’s why so many people risk everything to escape places like Russia and come here. Maybe when she does get home, she will have more appreciation for America and stop demanding that the National Anthem not be played before WNBA games, or refusing to come out and stand up when it is played.
Soros doubles down on crazy
Socialist billionaire George Soros released a video proving that he is either as unconcerned as a James Bond villain about the deaths, violence and theft caused by the criminal-coddling prosecutors his money is helping to elect in the US, or else he’s living in an alternate reality.
Soros declared that he intends to continue pouring millions of dollars into electing these walking crime waves as district attorneys. He also insisted that this is helping to bring reform and justice to America’s legal system, and that “the most rigorous academic study, analyzing data across 35 jurisdictions, shows no connection between the election of reform-minded prosecutors and local crime rates.”
He conveniently failed to say who conducted that alleged “academic study,” which must’ve come from the University of Never-Neverland. In reality, Soros-funded prosecutors have sparked major crime waves in a number of blue cities by releasing criminals dozens of times on no bail and only prosecuting law-abiding citizens who try to protect themselves. It’s so bad that in the most liberal city in America, San Francisco, voters recalled DA Chesa Boudin by a landslide, and the same should be happening soon to Los Angeles’ one-man wrecking crew, DA George Gascon.
Want to see what happens to your crime rate when you elect Soros-style “progressive” officials? Visit one of these cities and find out. Or better yet, if you value your life, don’t.
Samantha Bee’s show is cancelled
I didn’t bother to report it last week when word came that TBS had canceled Samantha Bee’s show because I figured my readers would have no idea who she is (or at least the lucky ones wouldn’t.) What’s one fewer smug, nasty, unfunny, far-left, low-rated, late-night “comedy” show?
But then the entertainment press started writing “think” pieces about it, hauling out their usual clichés about what a threat to diversity her cancellation us (she’s a wealthy white liberal spouting smug, hateful leftist talking points instead of jokes, which isn’t any different than the rest of late night these days.) They’re trying to claim this proves women and people of color can’t get a shot at hosting a TV show. But TV is filled with shows hosted by women and people of color, and Samantha Bee (a white Canadian) was allowed to keep hers for SEVEN seasons, despite the fact that the Daily Wire ran an article about how terrible her ratings were four years ago. TBS isn't a charity or a public access channel.

It takes a lot of chutzpah to claim victim status because you lost your TV show that nobody watched after only seven years. It shows the extent to which the TV networks are willing to lose money to prop up pro-left TV hosts.
And of course, as Greg Gutfeld pointed out, these articles about late night comedy shows never even mention his Fox News show, even though it has the most diverse panel and is crushing all the others in the ratings. Last night’s monologue about this story is a great and hilarious example of why that is:
