THE LATEST NEWS
1. Voter support is cratering for BBB:
No wonder Democrats are panicking over the 2022 elections: voters are finally starting to get wise to the con about “free money from the government” and where it actually comes from (spoiler alert: their own pockets.) That could be catastrophic for the party!
Despite their claims that Americans strongly support Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill, the latest Rasmussen survey of likely voters finds that support is cratering. Only 38% support BBB, while 45% actively oppose it. The usual tactic of “divide and conquer” also isn’t working because hardly any individual group supports it, either. Black support is at just 47%, it’s at 34% with Independents, and it’s got less than majority support among both men and women. Even among Democrats, support has dropped to just 62%. The survey also found Biden’s approval rating has dropped back down to 40%, and voters overwhelmingly disapprove of both the House and the Senate.
Sounds as if voters have their own “Build Back Better” plan, and it involves replacing a lot of politicians and building the government back better.
2. "Huckabee" Preview:
Christmas is just one week away, and I have an early gift for you: a great new holiday episode of “Huckabee” tonight on TBN! Former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows will fill us in on his legal showdown with Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th Committee. Two legends of music and sports, Chris Christian and former Dallas Cowboy Danny White, will reminisce about the classic Cowboys Christmas albums of the 1980s. We’ll have plenty of laughs from columnist Ron Hart and comedian Jeff “Big Daddy” Wayne. And we’ll top this tree with a beautiful Christmas song by Christian music superstars, Point of Grace.

3. Appeals Court lifts ban on Biden vaccine mandate:
Friday, a panel of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals voted 2-1 to lift another court’s ban on imposing President Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate on businesses with over 100 employees.
At least 27 states and a number of business and religious groups argued that the mandate is unconstitutional, and the Fifth Circuit Court ordered OSHA not to implement it, finding it would expose the petitioners "to severe financial risk" and "threatens to decimate their workforces (and business prospects)." Since that seems to be a feature not a bug to this Administration, it appealed, even though vaccine mandates don’t appear to be doing much good for businesses that have already implemented them.

This throws countless already-struggling businesses back into chaos (again, another feature of the Biden Administration.) The original deadline was January 4th, and it’s unclear if that’s still operative. The plaintiffs immediately filed an appeal to the Supreme Court, which hasn’t been very inspiring so far in its defense of the Constitution when it comes to this subject.
Will there be a mass exodus of desperately-needed workers during a supply chain crisis over forcing people to take a vaccine to prevent a milder form of COVID that might provide better immunity than the vaccine the government wants to force them to take to prevent it? Or will all those states and businesses tell Biden and OSHA to pound sand and dare them to arrest half the nation? These are the type of questions that could only arise during a flailing Administration like this. Only time will tell the answer, and if the deadline is still January 4th, there’s not much of that left.
4. Another fabricated January 6 claim unravels:
Another day, another fabricated Democrat claim about the “Great Insurrection” unravels in public like a cheap suit.
Rep. Liz Cheney claimed that once the violence in the Capitol started, President Trump waited 187 minutes, or over three hours, before saying anything about it. She railed that he “refused to act when action by our president was required, indeed essential, and compelled by his oath to our Constitution.” She called this long delay a “supreme dereliction of duty.”
There’s also another, more accurate, term for it: “fictitious.”
The Federalist compared the timeline of the Capitol violence to the timestamps on Trump’s tweets. The first building was breached around 2:13 to 2:15 p.m. At 2:38 p.m., Trump tweeted, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”
About 30 minutes later, he tweeted, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order — respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
At 4:17, he posted a video urging the rioters to go home, which Twitter promptly suppressed because “TRUUUUUUMP!!!”
Cheney’s office did not respond to the Federalist's inquiries about where she got that 187-minute figure. I’m guessing it came from Adam Schiff, who got it off his Rotten Apple watch.

5. Interesting list:
We haven’t heard as much this year as in recent years about canceling the song, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” Maybe the woke whiners realized that everyone was turning a cold shoulder to their ridiculous claims of offense. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of other Christmas songs that contain un-PC things for them to get OUTRAGED about. The Federalist put together a pretty funny list of 10 more Christmas songs that wokesters can get their stockings in a bunch over.

Although I hesitate to pass this along because even though it’s a joke, we know leftists don’t recognize jokes, so it might just give them ideas.

6. Biden's in charge, clearly:
The country’s in the very best of hands! And how many fingers are on those hands? One…hundred…thousand?...No, wait, ten! That’s right, ten!

On the bright side, just because this Administration thinks you’re dead, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you are.
On a more serious note, what kind of an inspiring leader tells the American people that a disease that appears to be mild enough that it’s swept the globe without noticeably raising the hospitalization or death rates means that Americans should brace for a “winter of severe illness and death, if you’re unvaccinated”? It sounds as if he’s doing as good a job of “following the science” as he is of following math.
And by the way, if it sounds as if Biden is making up COVID policy without listening to the experts on it, that’s because he is.
