A time for prayers and miracles

Christmas is a time for prayers and miracles, and one often follows the other. Rosalin from Virginia shared a story that proves God sometimes shows a very personal interest in us, if we’ll just ask Him into our lives. She wrote:

"Years ago, when our children were younger, we ran into hard times. It was a Wednesday morning, and Christmas was on Saturday. We had no money for Christmas gifts and no savings in the bank. My husband was home without work as a carpenter. He suggested we join hands and pray, which we did.

Three hours later, friends of ours called from New York to tell us that they'd received a large Christmas bonus from work, and God put our family on their hearts. They told us they'd sent us $350 through Western Union...not knowing of our situation. We picked up the check and went Christmas shopping. It was a GREAT lesson my children will NEVER forget!"

Thank you, Rosalin. That's a great story that none of us will ever forget!

    All over the world there are revelations of our Lord’s love and compassion for people if you look. Even in areas where news is forbidden to be revealed to anyone, He works His love for people, believers and non, just because of Who He is. We are blessed to live where we do to hear about these things happening as proof to those who might be on the fence if you want, about His being. I pray for those people. Funny how many people believe they know truth about anything based on what they have read on a subject yet can’t except what is written in the Bible by people who were there to witness Jesus Christ , God on earth, as a man, do so many miraculous things in front of hundreds of people, truth, eyewitness accounts, written by people who were there. Guess it’s all about what someone wants to believe in. God Bless Everyone.

    I wish to amend my earlier submission where I stated that our country was starting to rot. Actually. It has been going on for a long time and has become thoroughly entrenched.

    Our country is starting to rot! How long can a country survive when the citizens no longer trust its institutions? The entire enterprise is corrupt. Too many people in these institutions are not there to serve the people, rather they want to enrich themselves and lack integrity. They are prostitutes to lobbyists. In fact, probably have less morals than people in that profession.

    So many times I've thought about the scripture you posted today. The major problem is, "and turn from their wicked ways" only then will they hear from Heaven. The "humble themselves" part is also not well received by many folks who are "called by My name"... It may be a long time before that scripture will apply.

    I hope this package makes it to you and I pray you and your entire family are having a great holiday season thus far. The best is yet to come ?
    My name is Kevin Miller and I’m reaching out to you because you are a published author of many books and you reach out to the children through a lot of them… and a whole lot of people know you and you know a whole lot of people. God willing, I’ll be one of them.
    I am a published author as well and I also wrote and produced a song to go along with my book…but you have never heard of me. I would like to change that but, because I’m not on TV, I’m not famous and I don’t have the platform it’s nearly impossible. I would love your help. I know you are extremely busy – please have an open mind as I share my story and everything in this package I sent and why.
    Just so you know, I’m not asking for money, free handouts or donations…just a break so I can help others. But I need to sell books, get noticed and as you will read through the material – I have a lot to offer….beyond the books.
    First things first – I need a liver transplant and possibly a kidney as well. I was in the transplant program at Banner Hospital here in Tucson, AZ. After a year and a half they dropped me in August because I refused the covid jab. Just like that! A copy of that letter is part of the information I sent. I’ve never had covid. I have been tested 2 dozen times because of hospital visits and surgeries. Now we have to move. My insurance covers me 100% but only in AZ because of what I qualify for. I get SSA every month. I can’t get a regular job because if the household shows more income then we lose our insurance. Which leads to monthly struggles but we get by.
    I have had two tumors on my liver terminated through radiation, 2 hernia surgeries and so much more. They can write a medical book on me alone. But I’m dealing with it – the family is dealing with it and we are surviving.
    So, after several phone calls I found out that Tampa General does not require “the jab”. I faxed them my records and now we need to move. Which means moving money, new jobs for my wife and daughter, deposits, and hopefully find insurance through my wife’s work - but with my preexisting condition(s), who knows where that path leads. I did find a part time 1099 sales job for a company called 30A Media located in Santa Rosa Beach. We’ll be moving to that area soon – hopefully in April 2023 God-willing.
    We can’t wait to get back to the “real south”. Our kids were born in Atlanta where we spent 20 years and I personally have a century of passed kin and family that is still growing all over north Florida...where my parents are resting in peace as well as my Grandma – who I wish everyone, had the chance to meet. She was as Southern Baptist as they come and I’m sure cooking for God himself.
    What’s in the package?
    - A signed copy of my book The Adventures of Jelly Bean Slide – Learning the Alphabet. It’s literally three books in one. An alphabet book that has 474 words that start with letters of the Alphabet, 428 pictures makes it a great picture book and the rhyming of words on every page teaches creative writing and imagination. One person said this “I bought the book for Tianas first birthday and she will be 3 on the 18th of this month and she is so smart” – I asked her if she thinks the book helped and she said “Yes because she could sing the alphabet song and now she can point to them in the book and tell you what letter they are.”

    - Two printouts of my next books with stock photos. I have 5 written that need to be illustrated. But there is that money issue again. I also need a new publisher because Page Publishing isn’t exactly friendly. I have reached out to dozens of agents but since I do not have the name, I’m a nobody. My book has more words on one page than Jimmy Fallon has in all of his books and he is a NYT Best seller…please. No way those books sell if it wasn’t for his name and platform.

    - Poems for the Soul (could be a calendar or a book) – I write poems every day and post them on a private group FB page that inspires people to not drink. I drank way too much over my years and, yes, I’m ashamed of myself and why my liver hates me now…and I do not want others to do the same. #Dontbeme. It was clearly speaking to me when I was deciding on a name. My poems are posted at 5:55 am every day. God is good! My entire story is on the welcome post.

    - Dear John – A short story that I wanted to include because, I believe that someday, we can make a movie out of it. It was a writing challenge and had to include a box wrapped in brown paper and less than 2000 words. There is so much more that can be added. All the names of characters are from the Bible and plenty of Faith throughout.

    - Website material. What we have now you can see at www.jellybeanslide.com; Our Mission Statement, book promotions, words to The Jelly Bean Slide Alphabet Song which is available on all streaming music platforms. Also what I envision the future of the website to be. This includes downloadable worksheets for the Alphabet and for learning math (samples included), Jelly bean Slide Merchandise, a monthly newsletter mailed to the kids, a plush toy with the song module included for squeezable fun that has room for up to 2 hours of recording. I’m considering a $4.95 monthly subscription.

    - T-shirt pictures. I know you like the Trumpster and so do I. I had some shirts created a couple of years ago but my health held me back. No one has seen these. Maybe we can do something with them in 2024 ?


    That’s it in a nutshell Governor sir – a big nutshell at that ?. If you can help me get noticed, actually my book, I would be forever grateful. I would love to get my book(s) and song out there. It’s time to go back to traditional learning and stop all of this divide. Like when we were growing up.

    I need this to work for my family. I have a tough road ahead. My doctor says I “should be ok” for the next couple of years without the transplant, but if I want to see grandkids it is a must and my kids are 20 and 23. Please let me know if you are willing to be a Jelly Bean Slide advocate. We sure need you. Partial proceeds of all sales go to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, The American Red Cross and Banner Children’s Diamond Children’s Medical Center.

    My book is available online at Amazon and Barnes and Noble but the profits are better when they order from my website and they get a signed copy. I did call Barnes and Noble to get try and get my book in the store and one manager actually called me stupid and another said kids “these days” won’t read an alphabet book with all those words. Huh?

    I wish you were running for President. Thanks for that Christmas story of yours. What a
    testimony of how the Lord provides for His own when they put His Kingdom first (Mt. 6:33).
    Keep up the good work and ministry beyond what you have already done all these years.

    When people ask if miracles occur or question them,all I have to think about is the "Lady of Lourdes" or what Jimmy V did. Coach Valvano suffered a career-ending cancer and that could have been the end of it. Instead, he makes the "Don`t give up" speech and starts the V Foundation and look how many people that has touched since.

    How do we stop the prohibited Christmas Movies , censorship of Email , Twitter etc . It appears they have taken over Congress ??
