Israel war update
Here’s today’s link to Fox News’ continually updated reports on the war in Israel…
The latest developments: Israel says it launched 450 strikes on Hamas targets in Gaza over the past 24 hours and eliminated another senior Hamas commander. They believe Hamas is holding its over 200 hostages in the tunnel system they built beneath Gaza City. Israel is systematically destroying the tunnels, but it’s a dangerous endeavor. Hamas has reportedly bobby-trapped the tunnels, and they’re trying to force Hamas to surrender without harming the hostages. Note to all the morons accusing Israel of genocide: they’re trying to save the innocent people, not slaughter them, like the people you’re rallying to support do.
A Modest Proposal:
Here’s a novel suggestion for cleaning out the Hamas tunnels without the risk of dangerous face-to-face combat. Just use water to flush the terrorists out, like the (BLEEP) they are.

How about a fact check from the MSM on this slander?!?
One of the slanders against Israel is that it’s committing war crimes by targeting ambulances and hospitals. No, Hamas is using hospitals as hideouts and shields from which to launch attacks, and they’re using ambulances to try to smuggle their terrorists out of Gaza. For the record, using ambulances to smuggle combatants and weapons is an actual war crime.
Blinken out and about
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made unannounced visits to the West Bank and Iraq, trying to pressure Israel to agree to a “humanitarian pause” in its war on Hamas, which is different from a ceasefire because it has another name. So far, Israel has refused because unlike the Biden Administration, it knows how to win a war.
Obama’s disgusting comments
Former President Obama made some comments about the violence in Israel that are being described as “jaw-dropping” (they’re mentioned elsewhere in the newsletter.) His attempt to draw a moral equivalency between Israel fighting for its people’s lives and its survival as a nation with Hamas terrorists brutally slaughtering innocents and causing collateral damage as they hide behind human shields was frankly disgusting. And by the way, stop using the term “occupation” until you can tell us what exactly Israel is “occupying.” They moved all Jewish settlements out of Gaza and let the Palestinians have it in a misguided, liberal-approved attempt at “land for peace.” In return, Hamas uses Gaza as a staging ground to launch attacks on Israel.
Here’s some of the reaction to Obama’s babble. At least a lot of people partially agreed with his claim that “all of us are complicit” in the current violence, finding that he and Biden were very much complicit in helping to create it.
Just imagine if these were Trump voters
Around the world over the weekend, many Westerners have been shocked by the large numbers of people turning out for pro-Palestinian (but in truth, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel) protests. One of the biggest was in Washington, DC, where tens of thousands of protesters vandalized monuments, smeared red paint on the White House fence and gate, and left anti-Semitic graffiti on buildings.
All this resulted in exactly ONE arrest. Acting DC police chief Pamela A. Smith said, "The Metropolitan Police Department handles hundreds of protests, demonstrations, and other events every year, and we support and facilitate people safely and peacefully exercising their First Amendment right to protest." I doubt that it felt very safe or peaceful to any Jewish people living in DC. And I think we all know what would have happened if those protesters were Trump voters or pro-life activists.
Speaking of violent, anti-Semitic protests, like Joe Biden with our open border, Europeans never imagined that there might be a downside to allowing in millions of Middle Eastern, Islamic immigrants who hate their host nations’ culture and refuse to assimilate. Faced with violent mobs of anti-Semitic radicals in their streets, they’re suddenly waking up to reality, with a new poll in Germany finding that 61% of Germans (who fancy themselves enlightened “progressives”) now want to ban any further immigration from predominantly Muslim countries.
I’m old enough to remember when Joe Biden called Trump “xenophobic” for wanting to temporarily limit immigration from a handful of nations that were hotbeds of anti-American terrorism, only some of which were majority Muslim. My, how times have changed, for the worse.
It’s not surprising that it took German journalists to expose a phony “victim of Israeli aggression” who’s been turning up all over the place in propaganda videos credulously posted by the New York Times, the BBC and other liberal outlets. They never even seemed to notice, or care, that he would be injured in one video, cheering in another, dead in one, then alive again in the next one.

Jordanian national Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, was arrested in Houston for illegally owning a variety of guns with a non-immigrant visa. Although he’s so far only charged with the gun crime, federal authorities allege that he was also researching how to obtain explosives and was plotting a terrorist attack on the local Jewish community. He had reportedly posted online of his hatred of Jews and his support for killing Jews. Taking all that into account, here’s now CNN headlined its story:
“Jordanian arrested in Houston made statements supporting killing individuals of particular faiths, judge’s order says.”
Memo to CNN: Since it’s just one particular faith that he wants to eradicate, maybe you could bring yourself to tell us which one it is.
For the disbelieving dupes of Hamas
In an attempt to head off the rising tide of neo-Holocaust denial, Israel released video footage of the Hamas terrorists’ attack on unarmed civilians at the music festival. Warning: This is graphic, shocking, horrifying and heartbreaking, but apparently, that’s what it takes to penetrate some people’s very thick skulls.

For all the liberals who sympathize with the “peaceful Palestinian cause” and use idiotic terms like “occupation” to describe Israel (looking at you, Barack), here is a desperately-needed lesson in the history of the folks you’re defending. He explains why none of the Arab nations in the region are willing to take them in, even as temporary refugees.

How dumb are the Hamas sympathizers?
In Indianapolis, a wannabe terrorist backed her car into what she thought was a Hebrew school. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. And the building was actually the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge, which is designated by the SPLC (I hate citing them, but in this case, they’re right) as an “extreme and antisemitic” sect of the radical group, the Black Hebrew Israelites.

One of the more interesting races is the Kentucky Governor’s race. Kentucky is a deep red state that for some reason has a Democrat Governor, Andy Beshear. He won in 2019 by only 0.4% against an unpopular incumbent. He poses as a moderate, but he has repeatedly vetoed popular conservative legislation, such as a ban on barbaric “trans” procedures on minors, and seen those vetoes overridden. Nevertheless, polls showed him with a healthy lead over Republican challenger Daniel Cameron. That is, until the last week or so, when the polls have suddenly shifted, showing the race virtually tied.

Democrats seem to be panicking at the thought that they might lose this race; so since Cameron is black, they’re launching some shockingly racist attacks against him.
One thing the Democrats have taught us recently is that every white person is a racist. Even if you think you aren’t a racist, that just proves what a racist you are. They’re triggered even by alleged “microaggressions.” HOWEVER…there’s one caveat. If you are a white liberal talking about a black conservative, then it’s perfectly okay to be as blatantly, openly racist as a KKK grand wizard at a George Wallace rally. Chris Queen at PJ Media offers some disgusting examples.
Cameron responded, "I never faced racism or discrimination while growing up or working in Kentucky until I decided to stand up to the national Democrat establishment. I don’t support their policies, so the Left attacks me for my skin color."
Anyone who knows the real history of the parties shouldn’t be surprised at the resort to race-baiting (guess which party actually invented Jim Crow laws), but in 2023, this nauseating tactic should be rejected by any decent American. I hope and pray you all turn out to vote in every state, county and city and in every race to remove this cancer from American politics. A vote for Daniel Cameron in Kentucky would be an excellent start.
Daylight Savings Time
I hope you remembered to set your clocks back an hour yesterday. But as we once again participate in this jarring, semi-annual attempt to make the sun stay up longer (which is about as futile as thinking we can control the climate), not everyone is going into it willingly.
Rick Moran of PJ Media reports on a growing number of studies questioning the value of daylight savings time. Studies show that the time change leads to an increase in heart attacks, strokes, and depression, and related health care costs. A ten-year-old study found that the springtime clock change alone costs the economy $433 million. A 2021 study claims DST costs the airline industry hundreds of millions of dollars. And a recent study suggests that because it’s more dangerous to drive in the dark, ending DST would save $1.2 billion in reduced traffic accidents, not to mention preventing injuries and death.
Feel free to vent in the comments about whether you like or hate DST. I will say that it inspired a great cartoon I saw over the weekend. It showed a record store window advertising the new #1 album by the Rolling Stones and the new single from the Beatles. One passerby is asking another, “How far back did we set the clocks?!”
This poll is giving Democrats the vapors
I always caution people not to pay attention to polls taken a year before an election, but a new New York Times/Sienna College poll is giving the vapors to Democrats. The results are absolutely devastating for President Biden.

The poll shows Trump with solid leads in five of six swing states, with Biden ahead only in Wisconsin by 2 points (I assume that’s due to the Cheesehead vote.) It also found that two-thirds of Americans think the country is moving in the wrong direction (one-third think this is the RIGHT direction?!), and a majority say Biden’s policies have personally hurt them.
Most terrifying for Democrats, the poll shows that Biden’s jaw-dropping incompetence is causing their coalition of interest groups to fray. Biden’s lead among Hispanics is down to single digits, he leads among voters under 30 by only one point, and his lead in urban areas is half that of Trump’s lead in rural areas. This terrifies Democrats because their route to winning is to separate Americans into warring identity groups, then cobble together enough of them to add up to over 50% of the vote.
This poll is just the latest reason why people like Democrat strategist David Axelrod are urging Biden not to run for reelection, but to retire, go home and try to figure out how many grandchildren he has.
Media starting to acknowledge Biden’s lies about family “business”
In his “Coffee With Scott Adams” podcast on Sunday, bestselling author, trained hypnotist and persuasion expert Scott Adams spoke of the importance of not staying in a partisan “bubble” where news is concerned. Both sides of an issue, he said, are guilty of leaving out information that would add heft to the opposing point of view. For example, any documentary that presents just one side is going to seem highly persuasive; it’s like any prosecution’s one-sided case as presented to a grand jury that gives rise to the expression, “You can indict a ham sandwich.”
We’d like to think Adams would approve of the effort we’re making to get the broader picture of the Biden financial scandal.
For example, while it would be easy just to absorb and spew out opinions from conservative sites that suit our own conclusions about what the Bidens have done, we take as many side trips into mainstream media coverage as we can stand without risking having our heads explode. (Admittedly, it’s not many.) It’s fascinating, in fact, to analyze what they’ve been doing to shape the narrative and how they shift their strategy as more evidence emerges.
So, let’s go to POLITICO. This Sunday, November 5, they ran a story written by Ben Schreckinger headlined, “Fresh revelations contradict Joe Biden’s sweeping denials on Hunter.” And, yes, that headline is refreshing to see and certainly borne out by the facts. But then there’s this pesky subhead: “The president hasn’t been shown to have committed wrongdoing, but a POLITICO review of recent developments casts doubt on several statements.”
Hold the phone --- “the president hasn’t been shown to have committed wrongdoing”? That’s the disclaimer we virtually always see in some form in mainstream reports on this scandal. For the moment, let’s set aside the question of whether Joe Biden has broken criminal laws --- he won’t be indicted as a sitting President, anyway --- and start by defining “wrongdoing.”
Is it wrong to lie to the American people about whether you or your family have taken money from China? In a presidential debate yet, with millions watching, while pointing a finger at President Trump and accusing him of the very thing we now know HIS family did? Joe Biden did that. Is it wrong to lie (also during a presidential debate) and portray Hunter’s laptop as “Russian disinformation”? He did that, too. Is it wrong to repeatedly feign ignorance about your son’s foreign business affairs, deny meeting his business associates and such? He also did that. Indeed, the main point of the POLITICO piece is that we can now see he’s done those things.
So, unless lying your head off doesn’t count as “wrongdoing,” whoever wrote that subhead (to be fair, Schreckinger probably didn’t) is negating the very point of the article.
Schreckinger himself is to be commended for the facts he put in his piece, but he left out a lot. Why would a brand new piece that came out over the weekend fail to include last week’s blockbuster revelations from the House Oversight Committee, the hard evidence in the form of bank records, the 20 shell companies, multitudes of bank accounts spread out among family members, and the money trail leading from a CCP-affiliated company through Hunter’s companies through James and Sara Biden and on to the “Big Guy,” to give him his cut of 10 percent, paid for by a personal check to Joe labeled “loan repayment”? Is Schreckinger saving all that for a follow-up piece? Will it still say there’s no proof of wrongdoing?
The POLITICO piece throws in a few obligatory disclaimers that are essentially immaterial. For example, it says Republicans “have turned up no proof for the claims of Biden’s most zealous detractors: that he took official actions on account of his relatives’ business dealings.” Yes, proof of that would be even more serious, but we’d like to see the Oversight Committee shine a light on Biden’s suspicious action on his first day in office (!) to abolish the China Initiative against Chinese spying and theft of intellectual material, which is not mentioned in this piece. In the meantime, whether “official actions” can be proved in court or not, the Biden family profiting from trading on his name is still BRIBERY.
Schreckinger also mentions there’s no proof Biden discussed business or offered favors to Hunter’s foreign business associates at the infamous Cafe Milano dinner. Fine to include, but this is something else that doesn’t matter.
If you go on to read the POLITICO piece, you’ll also see that much information is left out about the firing of Viktor Shokin.
There was one thing the author DID include that we’d been unaware of and find very interesting. One of the two digital experts who authenticated emails about the Cafe Milano dinner for POLITICO insisted on anonymity because he feared “retaliation.” What about THAT? Retaliation from whom??
The main take-away from this piece is that the mainstream media are slowly coming to terms with the President’s repeated lying about his family’s finances and business ties. They really have no choice, because it’s coming out no matter what. This evidence of corruption, when combined with Joe’s fading cognitive ability, plummeting poll numbers and increasingly chaotic administration, both domestically and globally, ensures that he won’t be the nominee in ‘24. The media must be taking their marching orders from...somewhere...and they’ve been given the okay to start picking at the scab that is the Biden administration.

So, just who might be flipping that switch and giving the media that go-ahead? Recall that President Obama was in the news last week for speaking about something deceptively called “inclusive capitalism.” He made another appearance on Saturday, this time on POD SAVE AMERICA to talk about the conflict in the Middle East, carefully threading the needle by condemning the actions by Hamas but also sympathizing with Gaza.
The solution, he said, would be “one that is based on genuine security for Israel, a recognition of its right to exist, and a peace that is based on the end of the occupation and the creation of a viable state and self-determination of the Palestinian people.” As if genuine security for Israel were even possible, given Hamas’ mission of destroying all Jews and their recent unprovoked demonstration of that unquenchable desire.
Obama spread the blame around, saying you “have to admit that nobody’s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree.” He asked of his time in office, “What could I have done during my presidency to move this forward? As hard as I tried --- and I’ve got the scars to prove it --- was there something else I could have done?”
We’re bringing this up here not to get into a discussion on Israel (we’ll cover that elsewhere, along with the outraged reaction to Obama’s moral equivalency and “occupation” blather), but to show that Obama is still very much in the mix and is starting to make his appearance increasingly felt. He can’t run for another term, but the Democrat on the ticket next year will no doubt be his hand-picked successor, to continue his legacy while he pulls the strings. That’s his preferred way of operating; he’s admitted as much. So if you wonder why the mainstream/left media are coming down harder on Biden all of a sudden, this might have something to do with it.

As reported in the DAILY CALLER, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has opened an investigation of the federal intelligence agencies for alleged obstruction in the probe of the Biden family business dealings.
He accuses the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) of giving Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson a briefing in August 2020 that was used by political opponents to falsely claim their investigation was based on “foreign disinformation.” Jordan is also investigating the FITF for allegedly coordinating with social media companies to censor speech online, including the NEW YORK POST Hunter laptop story. By the way, Jordan is bringing in Special Counsel David Weiss tomorrow (Tuesday) for a behind-closed-doors deposition.
