It happened in Cherokee County, North Carolina
The story I’ve been dreading ever since the Biden Administration started demanding that biological males compete with girls in sports has happened in Cherokee County, North Carolina.
A “transgender” athlete (i.e., a biological male “identifying” as female, complete with all the physical strength advantages of a male that we’re supposed to ignore now) was allowed to play on the Highland High girls’ volleyball team. “She” spiked the ball so hard that it smashed into the forehead of an actual girl on the Hiwassee Dam High team. She suffered severe head and neck injuries, resulting in long-term concussion symptoms, including vision problems. She’s seeing a primary care doctor and a neurologist, but still hasn’t been cleared to play again.
Breitbart reports that “the Cherokee County Board of Education then voted 5-1 to declare a ‘safety issue’ and canceled all games against Highlands High after coach and Cherokee Board Member Joe Wood said he had 'never seen a hit like this before,'” declaring, “I’ll never put a child in a position to be seriously injured.”
Another board member added, “I think most of the board members also felt like there’s a competitive advantage issue.” Gee, do you think?!
This should come as no surprise to anyone with a functioning brain. The danger to women from “trans” male competitors extends beyond them just taking all the trophies and scholarships. That should’ve been apparent even to the boneheads of this Administration when we saw the stories of “trans” MMA fighters nearly killing their female opponents (here’s one from a year ago.)

And now, we’re seeing it starting to happen in schools, thanks to this Administration putting its genuflection to the LGBTQ donor lobby ahead of women’s rights and safety. Why in the world do women continue to support a Party that claims to be so sensitive that they believe “words are violence” but that allows girls’ sports to be taken over, their private spaces invaded, and their bodies physically assaulted by biological males? Does a female student athlete have to be killed or paralyzed before schools finally stand up and tell the biological science-deniers, “No more of this madness”?
Federal Court: CFPB is unconstitutional
The wheels of justice turn slow, but they may finally be running over Sen. Elizabeth Warren. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled (as many of us have been saying for over a decade) that the funding mechanism of her brainchild, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), is unconstitutional.
The Court found that the CFPB gets its funding from the Federal Reserve, which is outside of Congress’ appropriations process. This violates separation of powers because Congress abdicated its power over funding of agencies to the unelected bureaucrats in the agency itself, creating an “unprecedented” “perpetual, self-directed, double-insulated funding structure” that “goes a significant step further than that enjoyed by other agencies…”
Naturally, Warren railed that this is a “lawless and reckless decision,” citing all the good the agency has done for consumers. But while she may find the Constitution to be an intolerable inconvenience to her plans, it’s a correct decision. What’s lawless and reckless is giving unelected bureaucrats not only power but also funding that the people’s representatives have no control over. As for the CFPB's alleged good works, that's irrelevant. If it's such a good thing, then let it be funded by Congress and justify its budget, like any other agency subject to oversight.
Liberals love the idea of benevolent dictators. They don’t seem to understand that once you’re a dictator, benevolence becomes optional.
Biden Administration demands Arizona to tear down border barrier
Here’s a story for all the voters who say illegal immigration is a top issue to them. Not content with ending border wall construction, the Biden Administration is now demanding that Arizona remove the shipping containers topped with barbed wire that it used to fill the gaps in the border wall that Biden refused to finish building. Needless to say, Arizona’s Governor is not inclined to comply.
Aside from inconveniencing all those future Democrat voters, according to the White House, the shipping containers are a “trespass against the United States” (Trespassing against the US is illegal? Who knew?!!) and are “harming federal lands and resources” and impeding the Bureau of Reclamation’s mission to fill those gaps in the wall. They plan to fill them with "a combination of temporary mesh fencing and mechanized bollard vehicle gates that allow for access to the riverside of the barrier."
I’m sure the temporary mesh fencing will prove a serious deterrent to illegal immigration. Maybe they could also plant some shrubbery.
In Georgia, “Jim Crow 2.0” is what is for dinner…
Stacey Abrams, Joe Biden, Don Lemon, Joy Reid and many other Democrats cost Georgia hundreds of millions of dollars in lost business by claiming the state’s election integrity laws amounted to racist “voter suppression,” “the end of democracy,” and “Jim Crow 2.0.”
So how is that playing out now that it's election time? Early voting has begun in Georgia and turnout is already breaking all previous records. An official with the Georgia Secretary of State said, "We’ve been saying for two years, since we passed this law, this would make it easier to vote and hard to cheat, and the numbers tell the tale,” with early voters blowing the doors off the polls. The second day of early voting showed a whopping 75.3% increase over the second day of the 2018 midterms.
Everyone who called this “Jim Crow 2.0” should be forced to eat crow. And no ketchup or hot sauce for you!
Great Debate Line
In a Florida Senate race debate Tuesday, Democrat Rep. Val Demings pushed the usual false cliche about voter integrity laws being “voter suppression” and “Jim Crow.” Incumbent Sen. Marco Rubio pointed out that Demings lives in a gated community where you have to show ID just to enter her neighborhood, but she thinks it’s too big a burden to ask someone to show ID to vote.
Just as a reminder: you have to show ID to get into many buildings in Washington, DC. That includes the headquarters of the Justice Department, which is suing states for making voters show ID.
