Lawsuit dismissed
A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit seeking to overturn Florida’s ban on “trans” athletes competing on sports teams of the gender they “identify” with (i.e., boys competing on girls’ teams.) The judge found that the law has no animus against anyone for their sexual identity, nor does it deny anyone opportunities, since everyone is free to try out for the team of the gender of their birth. That is, you can “identify” as whatever you want, but if you were born a boy, then play on the boys’ team. It's not rocket science. It's biological science.

I’m sure there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth on the left about this “denying opportunities” to “trans” athletes. But why should their opportunity to cheat override the female athletes’ opportunities to score trophies, records and scholarships that were meant for them, not males that are twice their size and strength?
A mandatory “preferred pronoun” policy
The Biden HHS has imposed a mandatory “preferred pronoun” policy that forces employees to use such pronouns or face firing. Roger Severino, Heritage Foundation vice president and former head of civil rights at HHS under Trump, said that this policy requires employees to speak falsehoods, adopt a state-approved ideology, and deny their own religious faith, all of which are violations of the First Amendment.
But since this Administration is expert at denying reality, they’ll probably just say that it doesn’t violate the First Amendment, or possibly that there’s no such thing as the First Amendment. They’ve obviously been working on that since Biden took office anyway.

Federal authorities in Boston announced that they had busted a “booming” sex ring that provided “high-end” Asian prostitutes for up to $600 an hour to wealthy, well-connected clients.
US Attorney Joshua Levy said, “Pick a profession, they’re probably represented in this case,” including, according to a DOJ statement, “elected officials, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, attorneys” and others. While three people who allegedly ran the ring were arrested, all the clients remain anonymous and none have been arrested. Although Levy noted that the investigation is “just getting going.” Why do I have a feeling it’s going into the same vault we saw at the end of “Raiders of the Lost Ark”?
Incidentally, all three of the alleged sex ring organizers reportedly walked across our open border to set up their business, so maybe we should add Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas to the list of people who helped set up this sex ring.

The DOJ announced that ex-CIA officer Brian Jeffrey Raymond pleaded guilty Tuesday to committing dozens of sexual assaults in multiple countries over 14 years of overseas postings. He admitted to drugging and sexually assaulting at least 28 women, and taking nude photos of them while they were unconscious or incapacitated. Here’s my question: While the DOJ was focused like a laser on investigating bogus charges against Trump, including the Steele Dossier’s transparent lie about Russian prostitutes, how did they manage to miss the fact that one of their own trusted officials was a blatant, serial sex criminal?
The “Night of Broken Glass”
Last night marked the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass” that started on November 9, 1938, and continued through the next day, marking what is generally considered the beginning of the Holocaust. Kristallnacht arrived with shocking suddenness, but there had been warnings and other pogroms that should have awakened the world to what was happening in Germany – but they didn’t. Just as people today have been shocked by the seeming out-of-nowhere explosion of anti-Semitism in response to Israel defending itself against a horrific and barbaric attack on its civilian men, women and children.
Some of the loudest voices of anti-Jewish hatred are coming from college students who up until now were so sensitive to discrimination that they claimed “words are violence,” yet now they’re cheering horrifying violence against Jews and chanting for the obliteration of Israel. And it’s not just ignorant students, but their professors who helped fill their empty skulls with this hateful poison.
If you doubt that they’re being misled and miseducated on purpose, just look at this stunning ignorance on public display. Especially note the two female college students protesting for Palestine who are shocked to hear from the interviewer, apparently for the very first time, that Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th.
In liberal Los Angeles, Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot (who served in the IDF) hosted a screening of footage of Hamas atrocities to help her colleagues see the truth about Hamas. Ironically, this was at the Museum of Tolerance, where outside, pro-Palestinian protesters tried to shut down the showing of the film and brawled with pro-Israel protesters (the brawls reportedly instigated by the pro-Palestinian side, surprise-surprise.)
We’re even hearing anti-Semitism openly spewed by members of Congress like Rashida Tlaib, who was deservedly censured, but it’s almost as big a scandal that only 22 of her fellow Democrats refused to side with her. And no wonder they’re scared: a new Issues & Insights/TIPP poll found that one in five Democrats side with Hamas.

So yes, it CAN happen here. It’s already happening even in New York City, with one of the largest Jewish populations in the US. Thursday, anti-Israel protesters climbed statues at the New York Public Library and swarmed Blackrock headquarters and the lobby of the New York Times, smashing a police car and spray-painting “Free Gaza.” They accused Israel of committing genocide with no mention of the genocide Hamas just committed, or any thoughts that their chant of “From the river to the sea” is a call for the genocidal elimination of Israel.
It’s no surprise that the NYPD just reported that there were 69 hate crimes against Jews in October, up 214% over last October.
Someone made the very good point that all these pro-Palestinian protests seem to be marked by violence, while pro-Israel protests are peaceful, unless they’re attacked by pro-Palestinian protesters. That’s the perfect microcosm of what’s happening in Israel right now.
As recently as six weeks ago, nobody could have predicted this shocking rise in open anti-Semitic violence. Well, aside from those of us who’ve been paying attention and warning for years against appeasing the enemies of Israel and allowing wide open borders and unlimited immigration of people who have vastly different cultures and refuse to assimilate and adopt tolerant Western values. Or those of us who have been warning of the dangers of letting leftists take over our schools and warp our youth to hate their own culture.
Personally, I think Western values like tolerance are worth fighting for. But we’d better start fighting a lot harder for them before our age of sequels sees a new reboot of Kristallnacht.

The IDF reported this morning that since the offensive in Gaza began, they’ve targeted more than 15,000 terrorist targets and destroyed or confiscated over 6,000 weapons, including firearms, rockets, anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and explosive devices. I would add that all of these dangerous devices were being hidden in close proximity to Palestinian civilians, but it’s supposedly Israel that doesn’t care about the safety of the Palestinians.
Here in America, the Biden White House announced that Israel had agreed to a daily, four-hour “humanitarian pause” in its Gaza offensive, a claim that Israel quickly denied. The IDF said they will have “tactical pauses,” limited in time and area, to allow aid delivery to civilians and to let civilians evacuate, but not a daily, four-hour ceasefire, during which Hamas would no doubt regroup.
Leftist elites continue to show their true colors, with a Jewish student building at Boston University being defaced with pro-Palestinian graffiti, and the Washington Post retracting an editorial cartoon that accurately depicted a Hamas spokesman accusing Israel of attacking civilians while shielding himself with a woman and some children tied all over his body. This reportedly caused an “internal uproar” among some staffers and readers, resulting in the opinion editor deleting it and issuing a groveling apology for not realizing it would be “divisive.”
FYI: If you find it “divisive” to speak the irrefutable truth that Hamas are a bunch of terrorists who use civilians as human shields, then you must have a lot of staffers and readers who are divided from reality.

Related UPDATE: After yesterday’s story about freelance photojournalists in Gaza possibly having advance notice of Hamas’ October 7th attack and doing nothing to warn anyone but just taking photos of the carnage, CNN and the AP immediately cut ties with them. But the New York Times put out an eye-popping statement attacking the outlet that reported the story, claiming these “reckless allegations” might put their reporters in Gaza at risk, and insisting that “the Times has extensively covered the Oct. 7 attacks and the war with fairness, impartiality, and an abiding understanding of the complexities of the conflict.”
So they covered a genocide with “fairness and impartiality”? Well, give them another Pulitzer Prize to put next to their whitewash of Stalin’s deliberate famines.

Impeachment inquiry update: still more subpoenas to Biden associates
Kentucky Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, announced Thursday that more subpoenas from his committee were issued on the Biden impeachment inquiry.
A day after subpoenas went out for Hunter Biden, James Biden and business partner Rob Walker, they were also issued for business associates Eric Schwerin, who was managing director of Rosemont Seneca Partners, the firm founded by Hunter and Devon Archer, and Mervyn Yan; art gallery owner George Berges; and art patron Elizabeth Naftali, who made news for purchasing Hunter’s art for $500,000 at Berges’ gallery and also being appointed to a prestigious commission. Yan is an unfamiliar name, but the committee subpoenaed him back in April, not for testimony but for financial records connected to Hunter’s business dealings. Now he’ll be questioned.
The committee has also requested a transcribed interview with the trustee of rural hospital operating company Americore Holdings, which paid the Bidens $600,000, reportedly to use Joe Biden’s name and influence to get money from a Middle Eastern investment firm.
As reported by NEWSMAX, several earlier requests for interviews are expected to be backed up this week with subpoenas: to Sara Biden, James Biden’s wife; Hallie Biden, widow of Hunter’s deceased brother Beau; Elizbeth Secundy, Hallie’s sister; Melissa Cohen, Hunter’s current wife; and former business associate Tony Bobulinski, whom one would think wouldn’t require a subpoena, as he’s already been refreshingly transparent about the “family business.”
Berges the gallery owner, on the other hand, has shown unwillingness to cooperate with the investigation. Thus the subpoena.
There are more requests for transcribed interviews as well --- and here are some unfamiliar names: Carol Fox of Americore, Joey Langston, John Hynansky and Jason Galanis, who, according to NEWSMAX, is currently in prison after pleading guilty in January 2020 to “multiple fraudulent schemes.”
Comer waited until he had evidence in hand before bringing these witnesses in to testify. “A plethora of bank records, texts, emails and a transcribed interview with Biden family associate Devon Archer all show the Bidens and his business partners sold access to the highest levels of our government, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of America’s interests,” he said in a statement.
House Ways and Means Committee chair Jason Smith said, “Every step of this investigation has uncovered a web of business associates linked to Hunter Biden and the Biden family business with Joe Biden as the brand center of it all...The three committees have identified extensive evidence of influence peddling even with only a limited view of the relevant information due to significant resistance from the individuals and government agencies involved.”

This additional report from Brooke Singman at FOX NEWS Digital includes some interesting details, such as the fact that art dealer Berges has long-standing ties to China and said in 2015 that he wanted to be the art world’s “lead guy in China.” (Not the “Big Guy”?)
Singman also reports that Hunter’s attorney Abbe Lowell wrote a letter to new House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana to tell him to stop Chairmen Comer, Smith and Jordan from continuing their investigation. “This is yet another political stunt,” Lowell said, “aimed at distracting from the glaring failure of Rep. Comer and his MAGA allies to prove a single one of their wild and now discredited conspiracies about the Biden family.”
So, what’s been discredited, exactly? Lowell’s statement is so pathetically false, sounds like something said in a pinch by White House spokesman Ian Sams. Any serious thought that these committee chairs would shut down their own investigations, after dealing with an FBI that had effectively done that very thing, is delusional.
Comer appeared on Thursday’s HANNITY show to talk about the subpoenas, saying they’ve issued ten so far and have requested interviews with another ten, with “a few more to go.” They’ll end up with “about two dozen people,” he said, who have “a great deal of knowledge about just exactly what the Bidens were doing and who the people were that were wiring the money from the foreign countries to the Bidens.”
When asked by Sean Hannity if we know anything the Bidens did for all this money, Comer answered, “Not a thing. Absolutely nothing.” They got millions of dollars from “bad people from bad countries,” he said, “that were in trouble or wanting something,” going on to mention the firing of Burisma Holdings prosecutor Viktor Shokin in Ukraine.
Abbe Lowell reportedly wants the “Justice” Department to investigate witness Tony Bobulinski. According to Comer, Bobulinski responded to this attempt at witness intimidation with, “Bring it on.” Comer said, “The amount of interference by Biden and his followers is unprecedented in this case, yet we continue to provide new evidence on a daily basis of major criminal wrongdoing by the Biden family. And at the center of this was President Joe Biden.”

As Newt Gingrich said last night, the case isn’t complicated. “Joe Biden and his family are collectively ‘the Sopranos’ of...Delaware,” in that they really are crooks. Gingrich went further to paraphrase legal analyst Andrew C. McCarthy as saying, “We’re going to have to come to grips with the fact that we have a Chinese Communist agent in the White House --- the President.” The word “agent” might be too strong, Gingrich said, but by any reasonable standard, Biden has been corrupted by “a series of our enemies.”
Comer and his investigators, Gingrich said, “are finally going to paint a picture so vivid that every American [whether ‘for’ the left or ‘for’ the right] is gonna understand...[we] have a President who is fatally corrupted and who was corrupted by our deepest enemies in the world. He’s frightening.”

Comer told investigative reporter John Solomon Tuesday night that his committee WILL hold non-cooperative witnesses in contempt and that the last witness they interview will be President Biden. This being an impeachment inquiry, the fundamental question will be “what role did Joe play in all of this?”
He says his committee can prove that Joe Biden benefited from his family’s foreign business dealings, but that he’s still looking for evidence on whether or not the money flowing to Joe from brother James had anything to do with “loans.” The White House has come right out and said they won’t be cooperating on that.
The committee is also trying to determine to what extent Hunter used business proceeds to pay his father’s expenses. The fact that they were sharing a bank account surely makes this determination challenging, but we’d say just the intermingling of funds says a lot.

And, in more FBI-corruption news, three whistleblowers have accused high-level senior FBI officials of retaliating against agents for their political and religious beliefs, and also for their associations with former employees who were interviewed for the just-released Dinesh D’Souza/Dan Bongino documentary POLICE STATE. Penalty took the form of revoking their security clearances, which in effect dooms agents’ careers. In a statement to the WASHINGTON TIMES, the FBI disputed they had done this. We have to say, though, it reads like a denial written by Christopher Wray, and that is not meant as a compliment.
