Rising Oil and Gas Prices

In case you hadn’t noticed, just since the election, the price of oil has risen by nearly 50% and gas prices are up by 18%. And with President Biden using executive orders to kill the fossil fuel industry so that we can all drive electric cars charged by wind power from the flapping of magical fairies’ wings, an expert from Princeton Energy Advisors estimates that gas could cost over $4 a gallon by 2022.

Maybe Biden isn't worried since he figures all our businesses and schools will still be locked down, so we’ll have no place to drive, anyway.

Another energy industry expert added, “In four years [under Trump], we had made the U.S. energy-independent and denied the bad guys the ability to control global oil prices. The Democrats undo it in two weeks. Just incredible.”

Naturally, he asked to remain anonymous. Telling the truth is dangerous these days.

    Liberals...Conservatives...Main Stream..Millennials..Biden Junkies...Trump Thumpers...Do the math..Washington says...your stimulus check is coming..$600.00..$1400.00...what ever...BUT your new source of Cash is needed because I have imposed higher gas prices...food prices...transportation cost to Truckers..We have to vaccine the new aliens before we vaccine the teachers..elderly..care takers....Recommend we give Chick-Fil-A the vaccine to administer in their drive thru lane...they have it figured out..I am 67...I have requested to get vaccine thru 8 different sites..No Response!

    This just in: Mike Huckabee thinks low oil prices are good for American oil jobs.
    I bet when oil prices crashed from $110/barrel to $30/barrel under Obama, a different tune was spun.

    Oil crashed to -$38/barrel in 2020, shutting much of our oil production down. 85,000 oil service jobs lost last year from record low oil prices. Not a peep from Huckabee. Demand is going back up to pre-COVID levels and US oil production went down again 40% last week from the big Texas snowpocalypse. Anyone with a fifth grade education in economic theory could have told you what was coming regardless of who is in office.

    Do you think that may have been why Trump lost? Everyone saw the gas prices rise after he took office in 2017, to peak out at a national average over $3 per gallon (highlighted yellow)? Or the current price rising trend, that started back May 2020 and is still continuing (highlighted red)?

    I personally don't think the president has much of an effect on gasoline, and especially a new president... but that people like you do may explain why Trump lost.

    It seems he began systematically, almost mindlessly, to check off all Trump accomplished, good and bad alike, just to rid all signs of Trump. A mistake in many cases. Many aren't going to stand for it. Example: rising prices when many are still w/o an income, still suffering from COVID results.

    with rising oil/gas costs, businesses are paying more to get restocked. Food prices at the grocery have jumped 20%. Normally the go up & down a little, but so far it's stayed at 20% with no hope of lowering. I'm a retiree on just Socialist Insecurity. Don't tell me another stimulus check is coming...they've been dithering around in DC for weeks on that, even taking a week off.

    This man has gone on a rage beginning with his first day in office. Not not to be ignored are the facts that this do nothing 47 year elected public official offered nothing to American citizens, this admitted Quid Pro Quo and this dirty dealing business with China is determined out of wrath for 45 to bring the USA down. OH! And BTW, he is not the one making decisions!

    I hate what our new country leaders are doing to this country. People can’t afford the new electric cars. If everybody goes to electric cars, then we will end up having a problem with the power grids. There is always a problem with something they make changes to. They need to start thinking of the long term effects on changes they put in place. Research and dont be too quick on changes. Biden has akready shown that he has made decisions too quick and some of them aren’t working out.

    We need to keep Pres Trump's good sense and go ahead with the Pipeline, keep our gas and oil industry independent, and in our own country. Everyone needs to contact their own state representatives, and complain, this is insanity, and we all know it. Please God help the USA.

    Biden threatened he would do this during the campaign and the stupid dems and always anti Trumpers, didn’t hear anything, and voted him in. Now you all will suffer along with us that voted against him. He is bringing our country to its knees in the eyes of the rest of the world. We will be in a recession in no time with unemployment rising, interest rates skyrocketing, our enemies joining forces against us and more unrest at home. Put together it shows total incompetence, which according to the rules of impeachment, start it now.

    Everyone does not have the finances to go and buy electric cars. There are far more places to get gas than there are public places to hookup your car for a charge. None of this will work, its just costing struggling, hard working, tax payers more money. So they make us pay for keeping our gas vehicles by making ppl go broke to keep gas in them to get to places that are essential. Disgusting!

    WHY? You would think if there is to be a shift to Green energy that it would e done on a gradual basis . Bring one online and phase one out ,but done slowly to see if it is sustainable .
