Red States Fight Back

I’m glad to see that red states are taking a page from the liberal playbook and using federal lawsuits to block President Biden’s executive orders, the way they hamstrung Trump for four years. In this case, it’s 12 states (and why only 12?) suing to stop his executive order that will greatly expand federal climate regulations, cost billions if not trillions of dollars, and destroy thousands of jobs across multiple industries.

The suit argues that the order is illegal because Biden has no statutory or constitutional authority to “dictate specific values for the ‘social costs’ of greenhouse gases in virtually every regulatory program administered by the federal government.” That sort of expansive policy is “quintessentially legislative” and belongs only to Congress. Meanwhile, Arizona and Montana have filed a lawsuit to block Biden’s order that severely limits the number of illegal immigrants who can be arrested and deported. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said, "If asked about the poorest policy choice I’ve ever seen in government, this would be a strong contender. Blindly releasing thousands of people, including convicted criminals and those who may be spreading COVID-19, into our state is both unconscionable and a violation of federal law. This must be stopped now to avoid a dangerous humanitarian crisis for the immigrants and the people of Arizona."

These are the kinds of lawsuits that make me thank God Trump was able to appoint so many judges, which may be his most lasting legacy to protect America.

    I'm a conservative, so, I expected there would be a number of bills or orders to come forth with which I would not agree. But, I didn't expect so many bills to come forth that would not have the well being of Americans as their fundamental premise.

    It is unacceptable to keep signing these executive orders without having alternatives in place first. Biden is causing chaos and completely ignoring the 'if it ain't broke' method. I know plenty of folks who have become legal citizens of the US and they do not agree with these new policy's. I live in AZ now via MT and illegal immigration is detrimental to both states. I hope both states, heck all red states start fighting back. No reason why states cannot fight as state law will trump federal most times. We cannot let them destroy our morals, values, education, and economy of the greatest country in the world.

    We need ALL the Red States and some blue states to join the lawsuit!
    There has to be a way to stop the number that are crossing the border!

    Amen! We are trying to rebuild our country after the pandemic after having been locked up for a year and here we are with so much stupidity to open the doors to illegal people coming across the border with this disease we just fought and paid for the shots, money, time, and energy and nt to mention the businesses shutting down and now THIS??? If Biden doesn't pay attention to what we have endured then he needs to be impeached.

    Mike, I am about out of patience with the Democratic and Lefts agenda. I am a Veteran of 24 years and a Desert Storm Veteran. Many of my Veteran friends are fed up as well. We are at the point where a war is coming to America. The American People better wake up and start rallying together. I am watching innocent men and women who, on January 6th, went to the rally and had nothing to do with the break in of the capital, are getting arrested. Veterans, everyday working people, men and women who love this country are being harrassed everyday by the left. We need to do something and do it quick. You have a platform to reach politicians. Please speak out to those in Washington to stand their ground against this evil sweeping through congress.

    I don't understand why evolution of man is the belief of the left, yet "climate change " is not included in the same way. Humans can be evolved from sea creatures, yet they don't explain how or where they would survive without the earth changing for adaptation.

    We are dealing with a president who is acting upon vengeance and not logically as how to make America better. He should never have been elected. His obvious dementia issues were covered up and this should be legally be addressed. So for these governors to take a stand against his decision making skills right now that are hindering instead of helping, I commend them. Yes. More governors should be joining forces with these 12!

    Biden is supposed to be a unifier - I have yet to see that - the situation at the border is a CRISIS - we don't need thousands and thousands of migrants coming in during this time with the pandemic and our economy tanking - Biden is a fool to abolish the immigration solutions Trump had put in place - we had no crises there - Biden created this.
